Jealous, Kook. Have a couple of connections to West Point:

1) One close friend who is an alum got married at the chapel there, was in the wedding. Being a huge history nerd, and American Revolutionary being my favorite period, was beside myself walking those grounds along the Hudson thinking who had literally set foot there before me.

2) Another close friend’s BIL was a QB there 2009-2012, started in 11 and 12. Broke and/or set several Army records, maybe even some NCAA ones, IIRC (don’t feel like looking it up).

Just an amazing place all around.

My sisters wedding reception was at the Hotel Thayer close to 30 years ago… was a pretty memorable evening.

Pre 9/11 you could roam the campus, pop in the chapel, tour some buildings…. Not any more. Seeing those battle flags hanging from different wars in the chapel always hits home.

Rev history fact: Major Andre, British spy, was hanged in my buddy’s backyard. Rock that commemorates the site.

Bought a box of these on a whim at the grocery this week since I hadn’t had them in 20+ years. Should have done it a long time ago, part of the snack rotation from now on 🔥 🔥 🔥

Notice how that classic snack cracker is not called “Chicken and Cheese in a Biskit”. Because that would be fn stupid.

Jalen Daniels doing to Ole Miss what Will Levis should have done. Ticks me off. We just sat there all game glued in a pocket that hardly existed, got murdered. With a literal Superman at QB.

I’ve spent the past 20 minutes in a heated argument with my 7 year old about whether rabbits are carnivorous or not. I have submitted that they are not, and am pretty confident in my position. He, however, contends he saw a giant rabbit eating a deer carcass yesterday, and that rabbits are meat thirsty beasts.

Rabbits are known to eat a carcass on occasion.

He's right. Rabbits are vicious killers. See video evidence here:

Sounds like he got into your stash of gummies.

- LMAO at the Yankees. Can’t think of a better sports team to suffer the ultimate embarrassment of a loss than them.

- A lot of the parents of my sons teammates are UL fans. They seemingly still are in favor of moving on from Satterfield despite him inheriting a mess, possibly leading them to a bowl this season, and having some recruiting success so far for next year.

Can’t think of a better way to slow down that progress.

- Jeff’s donuts is an awesome local donut spot. Kind of expensive at $2 a donut even for a dozen, but every other month it’s the perfect fix for the kids. I honestly think it is better than Sugar and Spice.

- Of all the things I’ve learned in bourbon the most fascinating to me is the Trandfer in Bond. Having to register these with every where I buy barrels from can be a challenge.

Also, with all the distilleries registered it’s baffling to me all the challenges I’ve been faced with so far to start one.

- Don’t look now but Brian Kelly, who was all but written off after the FSU loss, has LSU at 6-2 with a bye week headed into a game with BAMA.

- Ja vs Doncic tonight should be must see.

- Titans really need this W tomorrow against the Colts. Their schedule doesn’t allow for a loss in the next 2-3 weeks and still make the playoffs.

Saturday night new boot goofin'...

- You know, of all the amazingly athletic catches that WRs are able to make in the NFL nowadays, I think the next logical step is seeing a dude make a catch while doing a perfect cheerleader split parallel to the sideline. Lol. Imagine how confused some of the dad bros would be. That, and big bubble helmets, are the future of the NFL IMO.

- ...or maybe just one dude who learns to catch it with his feet. Imagine seeing some dude coming over the middle doing a cartwheel, catching a bullet pass between his feet, and then hand hopping down the field while the D fake tries to tackle him like the Air Bud football movie for some reason. The late backdoor cover, ugh, Vegas wins again.

- This is a really underrated great record:

- WCC mentioned this the other day, but man I'd love to know what a dog is thinking watching us pick up their ****. They probably think we're so lame and vanilla 99% of the time and then bam out of nowhere - holy lord, he's actually picking up my turds, wtf? Where did thaaaat come from? But then again, they're all pretty stupid so probably not that at all.

- Anyone getting back into home CD players? Picked me up an old Magnavox on eBay the other day and I'm really enjoying the purchase. Side note, I also appreciate that eBay has stuck with their colorful, fun logo that just screams 90s. There are some companies that can just pull off that stuck in an era look and get away with it. Hell, that has been working for Hooters forever.

-Anyone ever try out yoga? Approaching my 40s and seems like for better posture, flexibility, and core strength that yoga would be something worthwhile. Any recs for starting?

DoneDeal, the Verve is touching horrible, but I did receive my first blow job from a chick named Stacey at around 4 in the morning while that album was turning. The refrain from “Lucky Man” played right about the time I climaxed into Stacey’s mouth. Will always remember that. Stacey was probably two bills and and an emo, but hey. Whatever.

It was a bittersweet symphony for Stacey. That's life.

Did Joey just recommend a paperback book? I assumed he only "read" by hologram or something.
