-just got home.

-first: our fans are idiots...2nd game this year when they start the ******* wave* when UK has a player receiving medical attention on the field.

*the wave is awful, and if you participate at anytime you should take a falcon punch to the nether region.

-this was our annual **** the bed against mid major game. Stadium was electric(especially for a mid major opponent) but the kids were flat AF.

^niu isn't a ham sandwich and the spread was too high...but an uninspired 8 pt win is irritating. Shoulda won by 17-20 pts.

-a good portion of the sacks are on #7. Holds the ball too long. Still love him.

-as stated earlier this is a yearly occurrence...so I ain't worried. Go cats.

-bbdk/his gal's little Debbie charcuterie board was dope.

We should be dogs to all but MSU at home.

ESPN did post a graphic that we were 4th in alltime wins in basketball tonight so who knows with them.
I’m not sure that is what that graphic meant. At first I thought it did, but then I noticed that at the top it said the 4 most winning schools in college basketball history, but the actual headline right above the teams was number of wins at the start of a football season before a loss. It was confusing and awkward but I think it meant that either we were 4th in number of wins to start a football season or we had a season where we started 4-1.

I think this because I just don’t see how any sports writer could think we are 4th in BB wins no matter how young and dumb. I could be wrong though. Wouldn’t be the first time.

#1 Georgia had a tough time at home against a team from the same conference with the same record. I’m sure their fans are jumping off bridges.
You know Piglet is gonna have them motivated for Ole Miss with all the bad tape he’ll show the team. No more sleep walking and get back to big boy football. With CRod rushing it’ll open up the defenses to one on one coverages and what Piglet has built for this team.

Hopefully last night was just a bad game and the return of Chris Rodriguez allows us to be two dimensional and hide the flaws on the offensive line. With our defense, the ability to get a lead and then dominate the clock would be devastating -- and allow Levis to not have to constantly force the deep ball to pick up yards in bunches.

One great thing, however, is how incredible our true frosh are. We clearly have multiple NFL draft picks in this class. Walker, Brown, Afari, and Key are all likely to be drafted based just on what we've seen on the field so far. Hell, Walker could be a top 10 pick in three or four years. The penetration he gets as a true freshman is amazing. He looks like a Georgia lineman.

The game was on ESPN 2 and people still missed the beginning. If it was streaming only you wouldn’t have had to worry about another game going long. Just saying.

I do like playing these really well coached MAC teams tho. Rudd said it, should've won by twenty. Whatever.

We can get by with a backfield of CRod, Smoke, and McClain just fine thanks.

Sam Adams Oktoberfest, best value fall beer. Enjoyed a couple between cussing Scangerello and feeding the newborn.

The Little Debbie snack board looked fire.

Levis is holding the ball too long at times, but in fairness, it wasn't too long last year. Tough to go from the Big Blue Wall to whatever this is.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but being old enough to remember how bad we used to be, I'm still happy as long as we win. We're top ten, undefeated, this is the first opponent to keep within ten points of us. Kentucky football right now is pure joy. If you can't feel it, that's a you problem. We don't know if or when we're headed back to the lean times, so enjoy this while it lasts. Gonna save my redass for when the basketball team lets Dickhole Tech hang around too long and only wins by 14.

I know it’s taboo to discuss fantasy football in here, but just show you all why I don’t ever gamble and the level of how unlucky I am:

- I was last in my league to draft a QB and wound up with Dak. Broken hand before Wk 1 game ends.
- Tua is my backup but I kept him on my bench last week in favor for Wentz who I picked up off waivers.
- Started Tua this week and it took one half to concuss him.

I’m friggin’ deadly man. Every week. Every year.

-Put a dime on UK +4. Then it went to +6 and dropped another dime on it. We will win straight up.

-Airbnb booked for Oxford

- Ex got remarried this weekend. Was curious if that would be awkward but feel great about it. Our sons are 18 so I don’t have to do much co-parenting.

-The Little Debbie board looked like heaven.

-The difference between 7-8 and 10-11 wins will be if this OL can keep Will healthy. I worry those big fat puss boys will fail him/us.

-Heading to Wheelersburg, OH this week to pick up some 1989 Upper Deck sealed cases and a few other cool ones from our childhood.

Good luck to everyone betting on us next week. I absolutely rake on teams ranked lower but are favored.

I won’t bet against us, but I’d be lying if said I have a good feeling about Saturday.

We’re undefeated, and every position/unit on the field this season has been excellent, with the exception of the offensive line and running back.

It just so happens we get back our (eventual) all time leading rusher this week, which automatically solves the latter and helps the former a ton as well. I’m all in on this bandwagon and enjoying the ride.

1 week without a cigarette. Much tougher than giving up the booze (4 months). Not sleeping worth a **** and craving sweets. Broke down and had 2 cherry cokes Friday and an IBC at breakfast yesterday. A blizzard today at lunch and bowl of ice cream tonight. Gotta clean that **** up, been working too hard to get in better shape lately. This week it’s back to the grind.

Speaking of, I started walking in May when I quit the hard stuff. 50-60 miles a week, cleaned up the diet, etc. Dropped 30 lbs and obviously started feeling much better. Then in June I started a running program with the goal of running a 5k in October. Well, yesterday I ran the BBQ on the River 5k. Came in 107 out of 347, 11th out of 28 in my age group with a time of 29:00. That’s 3:30 minutes faster than what I was able to do while training. I guess adrenaline is a hell of a drug. Looking forward to a few more in the upcoming months, gonna get my old *** up there on the podium at one of these races.
