-Aeration and overseeding scheduled for next Wednesday. Pretty excited tbh. There's just no arguing with the TruGreen program and its results at this point.
I used TruGreen for year 1 and it turned out great. I was pissed at first because the preemergent killed off my lawn for the entire year. I didn't realize how ****** it was to begin with. By the next season, after their treatments, aeration, and overseeding, my yard was night and day. I've since went and bought an aerator to pull behind my mower. They're only about 250-300 at Lowes. Every Spring and Fall, I plug the yard with overseeding coming each September/October. Folks don't realize how much just being able to breathe helps a yard.

Man, I could just do it myself and save some money. Good call. Just checked Home Depot and I can rent one for 4 hours for $71. 👀
This is the one we have. They're usually marked down a significant amount too during Holiday sales, etc. Throw 4 or 5 cinder blocks on it, drop the plugs, and go to town.

My BIL is a bigwig over at Weedman. He’s been taking care of my lawn the past few years. They’ve done an ok job. Noticeable amounts of Johnson/crabgrass this past July tho. Might make a switch when we move.

Speaking of the move, accepted an offer on our house a few weeks ago. Making a nice lick on it. Thankful for Covid and the mass hysteria it caused on the housing market.

speaking of covid, our Covid baby will finally have his own room in the house we’ve decided to purchase. New construction 5 bedroom. Open floor plan. Tv wired to be mounted over the gas insert fireplace. You guys would hate it. I’m excited. Probably the closeted homosexual in me, but I like picking out new furniture, landscaping, etc for a new house. Already has a nice little Natchez crape Myrtle. Thinking about adding a couple more near the driveway and some southern magnolias. Maybe some needle palms at the porch. Idk, the possibilities are endless.

9.30 is the perfect time for a new Childers release. That guy makes great fall music, imo. Really sets the mood. Other notable fall artists: Fleetwood Mac

have never gotten into Chris Stapleton. I can recognize his talent, but his voice is almost *too* good? If that makes sense? It’s like if you asked an AI robot to make a country artist. That’s what it would come up with. Not rough around the edges enough like Tyler/sturgill. At least that’s my opinion.

I think the Yoder ys640 has a feature that will aerate & treat the yard iirc.

-A few weeks ago TruGreen was in neighbors yard treating in the middle of an extreme lightning/thunderstorm. There was a crack that hit somewhere in the neighborhood that shook the damn house, and dude just kept on spraying, so props.

- I got the Rams +2.5

Just got offered a 2000 barrel lot, KY bourbon 78/12/10 mash. Geese can tell ya what juice that is.

been scrambling to see how far I can push my limits here.

I make me nervous AF, if I’m being honest.

- Finally filed for child support. 2/3 parents don’t help at all and the one that does receives 1200 a month in SS on 2 of the kids and agreed to send us 600 per month. However he comes with every excuse he can to never give more than 400. Done with him after his trip with the girls to goodwill for school clothes.

Filed for support, and contacted SS as we are permanent residence and custody now.

Good luck losers, nice Krazy is long gone.

- Family in Jax have a hookup at the Swamp and trying to convince me to go. My son has his first non scrimmage game at 2pm tho.

- Speaking of, Tuesdays practice was BY FAR his best. Small and inexperienced so lining up at DT for now. As the ball snaps, he stands the guard up and pushes him back, reads the play and heads straight down the line and crushes the RB. Coaches were all over him with compliments and boosting his confidence…….just begging him to keep that energy.

Two other plays Im not sure what he did, but was stupid quick to the backfield and then just laid up to not “hurt” anyone. WTF kid…….coaches on him about the good play, BUT YOU HAVE TO FINISH IT.

- Penn Station for lunch. Brought the rest of my Jambalya(80 has to agree now after this weeks pics) for the guys at work to finish. 5 days old and still really f’ing good, apparently.

Speaking of crack, I was visiting Mom's this last weekend and realized I didn't bring a piece for my greenery. No biggie, swung down to 420 Liquors on 25 in Gtown and just said I'll take that blue glass piece. He grabs it and puts in it the bag and the dog and I head back to Mom's.

Get there and pull it out, well it's a GD crack pipe with just the carb for the lighter and no "bowl" just the round glass crack piece. I was like WTF? Who sells crack pipes? Also, who would want to sell them? You want crackheads to come in your store on purpose?

Anyway, I take it back to the store and say to the guy, I want a bowl not a crack pipe. Indian guy, "There is crack in pipe?" I say no it's a pipe for CRACK, you know? He shakes his head and says I don't know crack.

Whatever, bought a different piece and I guess he got swindled into buying crack pipes, idk, but it was weird.

The difference is I do it once every few days. You do it once every few minutes. Get a life and off the roids , loser.

Not to be disrespectful but English style tea is repulsive.
Anglophiles are loathsome, imo. I find absolutely nothing cool about that place, including them still having a pack of royal inbred perverts sucking on their government tit.

George Washington told those shitheels to get back across the pond for a reason.

EDIT: While I despise monarchy and foppy Americans who fawn over England, Queen Elizabeth did live an utterly amazing life that might never be topped by anyone and seemed like a helluva lady for someone who could have been a spoiled nightmare. RIP.

- GYERO humming today like [insert least favorite GYERO poster]’s mom. Like it.

- Is C-Rod coming into The Swamp disguised as Scratch or what?

- BBdK commenting on KC Heschel’s Facebook posts was a hatboggan for me back in the day. 😂

- Tore out our entire backyard and now have a new patio. First time we’ve ever had a nice outdoor area. My maniac dad has been out back laying sod all day. Propane firepit. Perfect for fall.

- Little girl turned 2 today so after school taking her up to the toy store and then somewhere disgusting like Skyline for dinner. The amount of toys she’s getting is ridiculous, like Christmas-esque. Grandparents, man.

- Why didn’t The Wallflowers make it?

- Jordan Wright was my favorite defender on the team last year. Talk about flashes of brilliance.

- BEST third of the year. You can’t steal my joy the next 4 months.

up until this summer I had the best yard on the block using TruGreen. This past June whatever they sprayed on it killed it. Supposedly they are going to re-seed it this year at no cost but I have to aerate it myself. Guess I’m heading to Lowes tomorrow.

BTW, love listening to you guys on the Twitter machine. Only problem is it starts way too late for this old man to make it through to the end. Was out last night way before the first hour was up.

Found a local fertilizer dealer the pros buy from. Gave me a schedule to follow and promised if I followed it to a tee I would be happy with the results. Sure enough, yard looks amazing. I do everything from cutting it, dethatch twice a year and aerate once a year. A lot of work but my middle aged self is now obsessed with it. Next season I am upping my game by getting a reel mower. May come to regret that. but for now don’t steal my joy.
