My generation was totally different. We went to work, put our heads down, and busted our asses from open to close with zero distractions.

Sad to see what’s become of kids these days.

PTI - About as different in person as anyone I've met on here, as compared to their GYERO personality, has a genuine gift for cutting sarcasm. It is one of my hatboggans.

(I'd still like to fight him though)

-Colin Firth fan myself. The King's Speech was excellent. A Single Man also very good.

-Seneca and Cherokee Parks are the only way to get around this city.

-CBS Sports trying to fix some technical issue with thee Pick Em League. Stay tuned. If not resolved by the evening I am going to create a new league. PITA.

-I don't know that I've ever seen a player move like Lynn Bowden does in space. So smooth and fast. Just unreal. I don't understand the NFL.

-My Uncle Jack (Dad's younger brother) passed away over the weekend from a 2 year cancer fight just a few days short of 70. F that disease. Just an all around great Dad, husband, friend, etc. Hilarious. Always made you laugh. Always smiling. Successful sales guy for the same company for over 40 years. Married for 51. A life really well lived and someone all family men should hope to become.

My Grandpa died in 1961 when Jack was a young boy. I can't imagine that reunion.

-I hammered Kate -20 back in June. Annoying to see it drop game week, but still feeling pretty confident. Going to be a bloodbath IMHO.

-White blue white would be nice, but expecting blue blue white as per the usual non-P5 game.

Some of you that were in single digits when the original Top Gun came out need to slow down on claiming the movie as yours.

Maverick is great as is Shawshank.

Will Levis' effortless and brilliant ability to dig at UL (he's the GOAT) is the thing I'll miss most about him.

Completely agree on Carlin. I found him more annoying than anything else. The last 2 or 3 decades he mostly whined about Republicans (he was right a lot of the time, but he turned into the old man at the barber shop who won't STFU)

(I fully realize that I sometimes turn into that on this very thread.)

Concerning male comedians of colour: Patrice O'Neal >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> than anyone that you all are about to mention (with the exception of Chappelle)
I'll go Chris Tucker above the rest.

*saw the Hodge Twins last week and they are definitely on the rise. Bonus points for their hatred of liberals.

Pryor....better actor than stand up.

White lids on blue jerseys and pants last year against New Mexico State. I always enjoy the white helmet, frankly.

-Wish they'd ditch the tired chrome lids and go to a traditional silver look a la the Detroit Lions (if they must). Blue would look great on it. Again, if they must.

I hate the blue helmets. They look too generic for whatever reason. The matte ones with the black facemask were nice but give me the white lids all day. Silver would be a nice alternate as well. They'd look slick with silver britches. The chrome helmets are about 10 years past being cool.

Nothing outclasses a white football helmet with accents. Hell, just plain white, with nothing on them at all are better than those ridiculous chrome jobs.

White Helmet

Double blue center stripes

Block K (blue of course)

Blue facemasks

Black jersey number behind the left ear.

shi!can those blue pants as well. Football is played in white pants, stripes if you HAVE to... LOL

Just f***ing do THAT, and stop f***ing with it.

Classics never go out of style.

(One accent I always liked though, was the jersey number on the hip, enclosed in an oval, ala 1970's Dallas Cowboys)
