Sorry your weekend is ruined, Chief.

Why can’t they just say “gay men”? Like some straight dude is accidentally gonna throw his dick in another guy’s ***.

Or throw his fastball down the middle of another guy’s zone, if we’re doing this I guess.

Krispy Kruncy Chicken ftw.

Most low key huge chain restaurant in the biz. 3,000 locations almost exclusively in low rent gas stations.

Their chicken is fire. Facts. Etc.
People here always ask me about fried chicken, and I say yeah we’re known for it but it’s our mom or grandmas chicken we’re talking about. KFC is awful.
While I miss the days of kids athletics, we are now in the no commitment zone, pre-weddings and grandkids, etc.. The ability to pick up and go somewhere on a moments notice is severely underrated. The last time you could do those things was right after college, pre-wedding, pre-kids.
Want to hit the Bahamas next weekend? Check.
Just got invited on 3 day golf trip? Check.
Why we do this.
Try not having kids you can do it whenever you want!

This intro paragraph from Kyle Tucker's newest article makes me tumescent.

It seems counterintuitive, considering he just posted the worst record at Kentucky in almost a century and then a first-round NCAA Tournament loss to Saint Peter’s in consecutive seasons, but John Calipari is poised to make another run at the top. He’s suddenly recruiting like it’s 2014 again, gobbling up elite prospects, giving fans who were frustrated and feeling like their coach might be past his prime a reason to get excited again. That’s because the “next big thing” will always be intoxicating, but a more immediate reason for optimism is the current roster. The 2022-23 Wildcats will have as much talent as any team in college basketball this season.

ROCKIT!!

But ...are you old enough AND FORTUNATE ENOUGH -- tp remember this masterpiece from Herbie Hancock??

Video was entertaining in a creepy kind of way --- BRudd --- can you breakdance?
Used to imitate the "scratching" sound to that song with a comb and corduroys.

And yes, back then I needed a comb and usually had one in the back pocket of my cords.

One of the zippers on my parachute pants would work, too.

I was more offended watching private businesses being destroyed, burned and looted for half a year… and nary an arrest. JMHO
Well, one was prompted by a group of people who felt they've been mistreated for ages. The other was prompted by the President of the United States. Neither was right but I personally expect the President to protect the country. Call me crazy.

You're one deranged nutcase......much like the current dementia patient pretending to be President without spilling applesauce down his bib.

- It'll be interesting to watch how talking heads react to DJ Wagner's eventual commitment. Clearly he's a great prospect either way. But some(specifically Goodman) are already laying the groundwork for a "this won't work" if he commits to Cal and joins Dillingham/Edwards/Sheppard. Could see a bit of "overrated" talk if he ends up in Lex. But if he decides to be a Card...he'll be pushed back up to ELITE status. Book it.

- Still holding out hope that the Raxes end up living in Woodford County. Not only would it be good to have BRax in town, but the Yellowjackets need those huge bats in the lineup here in a few years.

- Kinda concerning that UK FB has had such a hard time recruiting the QB position out of high school. You'd think with Levis' development and Coen/Scangarello at the helm of the offense, they'd be making the final list for four-star guys. And maybe Sheron/Hogan/Wade pan out, who knows? Maybe all the quarterbacks will win. But still, I would've expected a bigger "Levis bump" by now.

- Somebody downtown must have read GYERO's "Yacht Rock" discussion the past few days, because I just got an email announcing that Christopher Cross is coming to perform at the Opera House.

- Chad was spot-on in mentioning that MLB guys used to stay with one team forever, but I also miss the days when MLB radio/TV voices stayed with one team forever, and they stayed in the booth for the entire game. Not sure when we decided it was acceptable for guys in the booth to take a few innings off mid-game, but it's ridiculous.

Vern is about as staunch in his beliefs, his team, and his side as UKO is.

(note: NOT a compliment)

It's one thing to be staunch in your beliefs...it's another to have your head in the sand while the country is going to hell. I would like to even give you the benefit of the doubt on understanding this.

^I think that's what they're doing, either intentionally or by necessity. I just find it strange that Levis' rise hasn't been born out in HS kids' interest.

What it probably HAS done, however, is raise their profile among portal QBs. So maybe we'll see it this offseason, when guys can come in and not have to compete with Levis directly, but can enjoy the same kind of trajectory (hopefully).
