There is speculation that Musk wanted to unload some Tesla stock without causing the price to crash more than it has so he engineered the Twitter deal to move money and create taxes losses without hurting Tesla by using slight of hand to create a spectacle with the Twitter fiasco.

But I'm sure he will be disappointed to know that he doesn't get your stamp of approval.

There is speculation Calipari wanted to unload some of his assistants without causing PR issues and so he engineered the 9-16 season to make behind the scenes moves and create urgency using slight of hand to create a spectacle with the kneeling fiasco.

I read that, too. I mean, who knows with this guy.

But once again -- if you want me to celebrate this dude essentially engaging in market manipulation/insider trading, that's a big ole nope.

I appreciate that he's such a character and a troll, but his last 3 months has been a complete disaster.

Sub Fredrick for Reeves and I agree. Fredrick, Reeves, and Wallace are all going to play a ton of minutes. I think you're going to see a classic 7.5 man Cal rotation with Ware playing the role of the .5 hatchet man.

Collins is the odd ball -- too good to sit too much but what's his role? He isn't comparable to Brooks in style but (weirdly) would play the same role of a "stretch" 4 that Brooks "played" last year. (I don't want to talk too poorly about Brooks because he seemed like a great kid but he was such a waste of minutes. Just good enough that you had to play him but he screwed our rotation and spacing and didn't accomplish much.)

Toppin is looking great and I get the feeling he, Oscar, and Wheeler are going to lead the hell out of this team. It is nice to have a team full of tough *** dogs for the first time in forever.

There’s medical tape all over the rims. Looks like some old gym’s side goals. Maybe John does need some facility upgrades.

Useless trivia: I learned to shoot well on side goals with tape on the rims (non breakaway) holding the net up. It gave me something to aim at/shoot over. So maybe it’s there for a purpose? But it still looks ghetto as hell.

You can pretty much sub guys in and out with last year's squad as far as roles go.

Wheeler
Wallace=TyTy
CJ=Grady
Reeves=Mintz
Toppin=Brooks
Collins=Toppin
Oscar
Ware

The difference is Livingston. He will be even more than what we hoped Hopkins (Cal's fault for sure) could have been. I think he'll be one of our 3 best players. His contribution will alleviate minutes for the frontcourt and backcourt alike.

That leaves Adou, who will be more than capable of providing minutes if one of our guards/wings gets hurt, namely CJ.

I'm pumped about this squad. We have everything you need to win a title. I know Cal has to prove it. It's Final 4 or bust.

As always, I'm optimistic.

Stepmommies are all the rage right now. You go girls. You’ve earned it.

It’s unbelievable how quickly some forget HOFCJVC is still our coach. We don’t have nearly enough generational talent to overcome that jackass in March. Should hopefully have enough to make the E8, which would be a remarkable accomplishment for the man who cherishes DREAMS.

You know what might help our team with depth perception and shooting in general. IF THEY TOOK THEIR LAZY ASSES DOWN THE STREET EVERY NOW AND THEN TO SHOOT AT THE RIMS THEY PLAY ON…Medical tape!??!

The fact that he is smarter and richer than anyone else, and he can play whatever games he wants.....this would lead the common folk to the mistaken conclusion you posed.

They say every day there's a main character on the internet and you never want it to be you. Yesterday a friend from high school posted a story about how her body went numb and she went into shock after picking up money from a McDonalds floor, thinking it was a reaction to drugs on the money.

Today it's been shared over 250,000 times and she has people going back to pictures of of her children from months ago telling her her children should be taken away, she shouldn't be allowed to reproduce, and that she's a terrible person.

So that's fun.

-Easy to sleep at night after a "disastrous last 3 months" when you're the richest man in the whole f*cking world. Only PTI in GYERO.

-Prime Day. I'm not above it. I'll spend a cool hour perusing.

-Good for MILFs, cougs, step moms. They earned it. Keeping that **** in check 40+ isn't easy. Seemed the ones dropping their kids off at camp today had a little bounce in their step.

-Also, 24 hours after the news broke, Mom's Best Friend is still the right choice.

-Picked up 3 items already on Prime Day. Lol.

-Cason and Toppin are my dudes.

I’ve always randomly thought and wondered who the actual richest dudes in the world are. Like it’s gotta be the Saudi prince or random sultan or king of a country where they control everything but obviously report nothing. I have a hard time believing the head of the Saudi royal family who has sold about 100 trillion of oil in the last 5 years isn’t the richest. Or some anonymous defense contracting mogul who’s been receiving 10 trillion of annual government funding for the last 40 years. I think on a narcos they were saying that dealer in Mexico was bringing in like 400 million a month 😂

-Had phone sex with a 40+ woman while in high school. Met her online in a Louisville chat room. She knew what she was doing and it was pretty great iirc. It was in the middle of the night but I've never been more nervous about someone picking up the phone.

Little did I know I'd have to wait until 2021 to have *actual* sex with a 40 year old woman.

-Been in Charleston for a couple weeks. Looking forward to coming home. I miss my bed and the sanctity of my own house.

I got diagnosed with pneumonia (wtf) last week and my inlaws both have covid so we had to move out and are staying at some family friend's house. So... yea. Ready to GTFO but the lass refuses to cut bait. Oh well.

-Pro tip: Boil the shrimp shells in with the Old Bay for a bit, remove, then drop the peeled and butterflied shrimp for ~3 minutes. Enjoy.

-SEC staying at 16 then? Works for me.

Shaking and baking to buy the Calvert city drive in. I know it won’t work in my favor most likely, but having a family in could help.

Got the phone call on it about 20 minutes before the wife got home yday so dropping that on her after she got settled was quickly met with “I’m not moving down there” and a 2 second pause “you going to deal with my car before you try to do this because I’m also not dealing with that either, your fixing my f’ing car”.

LOL, a lot milder than her response to me starting a bourbon company!

How did she take the news she's babysitting during the Dr Pepper BBQ Smoke-off?

What a shame that whole situation turned into. Rumors have been abundant around town about who was going to buy it. Damn money maker if you do it right. Fun fact, the original movie house was next door to my grandparents jewelry store in Calvert. My mom, as a young kid, would lay in her bed and listen to the movie through the wall, or so she used to claim.

First movie I saw there was Star-Wars when it came out and fell asleep half way through, should have known then I wouldn’t care much for the rest of them. So many good memories at the CC Drive-In from all of the classic movies of my youth, a couple of burgers & a cherry sprite, making out with your middle school girlfriend under the blanket thinking that nobody knew what you were doing, hitting it up every Sunday night in high school parked in the back row where you didn’t care if everyone knew what you were doing.

Well I can tell ya it isn’t open to a lot of folks as “for sale” but I’m an option if I can get the person tied in with me I’ll do it. That’s the fella that had ran it for the 10-15 years and knows everything and literally could open it tomorrow in sync with no issues. People loved working for him to but he is reluctant per todays conversation.

The other guy that is a legit buyer owns some electric construction company there in town and the vertical jump park in Paducah. He is local too and seems to have good intentions per the family.

Which is good because without the guy I want involved I probably won’t persue.

Shorties:

This is the technique I will be smoking my brisket by. Sans Dr Pepper. Chef is in Prospect, Ky - I think. Trained at Sullivan. Sweating his gonads off in vid. Perfect summer evening in KY.

Developed a timely nasal infection for the summer. At least 2 weeks of coughing. Which is nice. No Covid.

You like smokeshows driving golf balls… IG follow long.drivers.

Joining Impact Zone gym on Friday. Will bump into Action Bronson and CC Sabathia no doubt. I had a 32” waist at my wedding🥺. Gotta reverse the chi.

My son going to UK next month is getting on my last nerve. Gonna be tap-dancing after the drop off.

Keeneland’s Gift shop is 🔥🔥🔥. Kentucky Double branding is sooo much better than UK Nike ********. Gonna buy half that store on my trip in August. Decor and photos to complete the bar.

Yanks are falling back down to Earth. Hoping not freefall.

Cape May has a 14’ Great White Shark patrolling the coastline apparently. Cant wait!

Really hope that brisket technique works. Anything is better than 50/50 success rate on a $100 slab of meat.

Watching that video, I’d never think to rest the brisket as long as he mentions. Might try it next time. Usually sit out at room temp for 2 hours and it’s perfect.

By 50/50, my gauge of success is based on Franklin BBQ.

Pretty sure my mediocre brisket would still knock your dick off.

$100 brisket? Where? Can’t touch a prime packer brisket for under $175.
