- I still really miss Norm. I came across this quick joke the other day about a March Madness "Cinderella story" and it got me pretty good. What a unique dude:

- This has to be the most detailed write up on Dillingham I've come across. It includes around 50 short clips as well just breaking down what a stud he is. It may be blasphemous to compare, but he sort of reminds me of Kyrie with how creative he is finishing around the rim. What's the word on a re-class with this dude?

- What's your favorite smashburger recipe? Sometimes I get stupid with trying to be too different with it, but my tasty go-to is: 3 tablespoons mayo, 2 tablespoons ketchup, 1 tablespoon of garlic whole-grained mustard, 1 tablespoon of sweet relish, and 1 tablespoon (or a little less) of Truff hot sauce. Get that grill pipin' hot, smash the **** out of 'em, and throw on a slice of good ole American cheese during the cook and it's hard to beat. Getting that crispy first bite is divine.

- Coming off the NBA Draft got me thinking that I really need to catch another NBA game in person soon. Such an awesome live product. NBA players are just absolute freaks of nature and seeing them in person is just a totally different experience. I don't think you can appreciate just how f'n physical these dudes are too on TV. Sitting baseline and watching Steven Adams go to work is frighteningly impressive.

- #NeverForget that cole854's two top songs of the 2000s were Vertigo by U2 and Boulevard of f'n Broken Dreams lol. A lonely road indeed. Hello, hello!

No, actually that was a couple of songs, and a few others from that era given to SAE as a learning tool. You may want to brush up on your gyero-istory.

True Detective Season 1 might be the best television show I've ever seen, albeit with a sort of weak ending. That's not that huge a problem because only Breaking Bad has ever ended an epic show well. Season 2 was abysmal and 3 was awesome but not in the same league as Season 1.

I'm loving the new way of doing tv that is essentially making 10ish hour movies and spacing them out in one hour blocks. There can be some issues like Obi Wan, which was essentially a good 2 hour movie stretched out over 6 episodes to make content for Disney+.

Going back and watching Friday Night Lights, I was like "WTF are there more than 20 episodes per season?" Reminded me of the father in A River Runs Through It -- "Good, now half as long."

* This Google doofus claims their AI made a halfway decent joke. The future is weird, man.

Some shitdohs:

- Drove past an accident scene last week and right as we passed the scene, EMT's had pulled up the sheet on the guy. Not good. 22 year old running a high rate of speed on a bike right into the back of a boat trailer.

- Web of Make Believe - Swatting, Seth Rich and Stingray Part 1 and 2 are good watches. The guy in the Stingray documentary was impressive. The guy in the Swatting documentary hopefully gets shanked in prison.
- Don't feel as confident in my baseball swing these days from lack of practice but I could still hold down a 5, 6 or 7 spot in the order. Got that oppo power, too.

- Left my gambling golf game to play with some buddies that are half-into the game. One is outright terrible, hits cross-handed but he sets everything up. Having way more fun with it now.

- Lost another one to suicide this past weekend. Guy my wife and I played ball with back in the day. Total goofball and never saw him sad/angry or anything other than a joyful person to be around. Left 2 little ones behind.

- Believe I mentioned before but if you like the nuclear meltdown or near misses, Meltdown - Three Mile Island is a good watch.

- Loose plan to get to a game this year. Having the BIL up there obviously helps. Wife was surprised I was wanting to go to a football game over basketball. Been to Rupp, saw a beatdown and maybe I shouldn't but I feel like that is always available. I don't want to miss what Stoops has done.

- Vet slow played us on this knee injury for the pup Swore he told me the pins stay in but nope, they stay in for 2 months, which means your pup is on basically 24/7 lockdown in a crate and after the extract, it's another 4 weeks of recovery. Halfway home. Just want to be able to turn her loose and watch her and the other pup play again.

- On the pups note, pest control guy walked in yesterday and fell in love with Big Head. "Man, that's a good looking dog". Need to get him on a bag of food or in a commercial. He's perfect.

- The California DOJ doxxed every single legal gun owner in their state. Name, address, DOB and date permit was issued.

- Be nice to your friends/family and ask them if they need anything, even if they drive you to the brink of insanity.

<-------- can't wait until the state government of California goes bankrupt because their entire tax base says "F*** this idiocracy" and moves to Texas, Arizona, and Florida so I can pick up some beachfront property on the cheap right when they start voting for Republicans.

Chief Incel / UKO, do not offer your opinion on this.

You won't be able to afford beachfront property anytime soon Josh.

My go to order at Taco Bell was a Mexican pizza and the double crunch taco (whatever the hell the hard with soft shell wrapped around it taco was called). I was probably 20 years old the last time I ate it. I tried the Doritos taco about 10 years ago when it came out and it was horrendous. I can’t believe adults eat that trash, it’s basically dog food.

The Mexican pizza however was pure heaven so I didnt get it to ruin my fond memories of it.

Nice story for Mark Appel tonight. Back in 2012 and 2013 he was thought to be the next big name pitcher that was a lock to be an ace.

Whatever happened, he made his major league debut 10 years later in relief and looked good.

Nice little feel good story after the pressure got the best of him with depression playing a factor too.
