Just got the call from the sheriff, our car was found with the other 4 that were stolen the same night. All 4 were in an abandoned parking lot, with no damage.

So safe to assume they were about to be picked up and shipped out I’m sure.

Now all I have to do is fly the wife down so she can drive back. That’s after getting the rental To get home.

Could be a lot worse I guess.

Guarantee I’ll be telling my wife she can take all that road rage out on me as soon as she gets home too!

They're all fine but, posted in your thread, I believe students hang out on the fringes of green and red lots. Easier for junior to toggle back and forth between your tailgate and the other goings on.

I’m Melting! Randoms:

- I’m changing school districts. This will be my 3rd one in a 23 year career. First time I was hired I just signed a bunch of papers with ink. Many of which were carbon copies and looked like they came straight off a hand-cranked duplicator.

2nd hire was mostly done online, but I did have to come in and sign paper copies of things, get fingerprinted and send off paperwork to Frankfort and such.

This time, Hey-Zeus Christy! Not to go all PTI with a list of hyperbole here, but the amount of virtual, on-line hoops to jump through is soul crushing. I will get an email/anonymous phone call when my retinal passcode is cleared by the federal government. Then I can sign the acceptable use policy through Docusign. Ridiculous.

- Ole Miss just *gets it* when it comes to uniforms. Saw their powder blues with red hats, socks, and trim in the CWS. Pretty.

- We are probably less than a decade away from our society having a large population of Grandpa Chads, Grandpa Dylans, Grandpa Kyles, Grandpa Todds, etc.. and I’m not sure how I feel about that yet.

- Spent 90 minutes getting a physical and drug test yesterday for this new hiring process. Spent 88 minutes waiting and 30 seconds pissing. I noticed that my eyesight might be going bad as I can’t read those bottom lines anymore. Sooo. . . what are some good eyeglass trends out there these days?

- I think the wife and I are just going to head to Lexington and shop, tour a horse farm, and tour Buffalo Trace while the kids are away. She's worried our kids will be upset with us if we go somewhere and have too much fun. I thought that was the point?

- Wagyu burgers, Arby’s???? More like Wad of Goo!!!! Amirightfellas??!?!?!?

- "Hamilton" loses steam with me after the first few numbers, but was still a great show. Crazy temps meant that people were dressed WAY down from the usual "night at the theater" attire, which was welcome. Some people (not my family) sitting around us were openly weeping during some scenes, and cheering like screaming lunatics after certain numbers. I knew the show was popular...didn't realize it was a cult.

- Mussel and Burger Bar lived up to the hype. Didn't even need any Sweet Baby Ray's.

- Always a bit fascinated when the contact period for HS junior prospects opens, like it did at midnight last night. Curious each year to see who Kentucky reaches out to first. This year, for some reason, Longwood (lol /Boat) is listed as having contacted nearly every single top '24 prospect at the stroke of midnight. That has to be a bit starting...to go from Izzo, to Few, to Hubert Davis, to (insert Longwood coach's name here). What in the world is their pitch? Come play for a school whose name is mocked nationwide?

- For those into stand-up comedy, that is a STACKED festival lineup coming to the Yum Center this Friday...Bert Kreischer, Dave Attell, Big Jay Oakerson, Dustin Nickerson, etc. A great value seeing that many solid comics. Comedy doesn't always translate well to a huge arena, but I'd bet it'll still be a great show.

- Congratulations, @jcrow10 .

- I’m not even going to get into it with Anth about the weather. Dude’s surely just posturing.

- As they tend to be involving that faith, the new Mormom (FLDS) doc series on Netflix is pretty nuts and disgusting.

- For such a seemingly bustling subculture, can’t say I know any gamers. I see the memes but can’t relate. These are adults?

- Speaking of, the Gamestop doc on Hulu was great.

- Curious how close we are to a luddite revolution/trend of sorts - and I mean something deeper than 2010 hipsters using typewriters.

- Hamiltob is cool but it’s certainly overhyped. The hip rich people made it into a religious experience. “Rap on Broadway?!?! omg!”

- I’ve read quite a bit the LIV Tour and questioned some of the biggest golfballs I know and have come to the conclusion that I’ve been right along about Mickelson being a douchebag and Johnson being a piece of ****. Greedy bastards with a minuscule amount of morals and ethics. I shudder just saying this but I will NOT be rooting for them.

Really enjoyed Maverick. Not sure the last “best” movie I’ve gone to see, but this is the best since then. Departed maybe?

Didn’t get home til around midnight, and all the kids were in bed already. Christened the pool! We might as well be teenagers if I’m honest.

I always do this after vacation, but this time feels different because of the ways I have to make money. I really want to move to St Augustine.

Volare, first time I ordered the Maiale pork chop, amazing!

-Got up and played a solo 18 this morning in just under 2 hours. Very nice.

-195 lbs this morning. Haven't been below 190 in 13 years and am going for it. Pretty much the same exercise routine, but have been doing the intermittent fasting for about 45 days and have hit the point where I'm very conscious of what I'm eating. That, and a reduced appetite is a pretty good recipe, actually.

-It's still a longshot, but am in the running to become the new voice of the St. X Tigers radio broadcast. Football and basketball. I mean we'll see, but lass has approved. Still a few steps in the process. Could be dope?

-Calcutta next weekend. /eek Playing with some 4 handicaps (I'm bringing a 20+). I know my role. Can't wait.

-Porcini Friday night for our 12th anniversary. Saturday night hosting my inlaws, Dad and his wife, for a Father's Day dinner. NY Strips. Rest of the menu TBD but will feature some properly-sourced fresh produce. Worship cooking this time of year.

-Taking the kids to see "Buzz Limeyear" tonight, as my 3 year old boy calls him. Looks promising.

-MLB parlays still rolling. Strikes and gutters. Absolutely love a full card most every day.

Did this quite a bit in my late 20s when I was getting back into it...was fantastic. 1st one out ftw.

On a similar note, my club just added a fleet of the Solo Motorcycle 'Carts' or whatever you want to call them. You can drive them anywhere (including the rough) except on the green obviously, and basically just park by the fringe like you would a push cart,

Pretty dope.

Imagine you could zip around for 18 not much over an hour on one of those if you had open course the whole way, like in SAE's scenario.

May give that a shot soon.

* Picking up a 36" Blackstone after work as my Father's Day present.

* Got a crew renting a big RV and heading to the Florida game. Never been to the Swamp. Excited.

* Got caught in hurricane force winds on my way home from work the other night. Narrowly dodged 2 falling trees. It was like something out of a movie. I thought it was a tornado for sure.

Our neighbors lost a couple of big trees, but we avoided any damage.

* My girls have been attending at least 2 camps a day for the last 2 weeks. Several 3-a-days for my little one. Basketball camp, volleyball camp, soccer camp, art camp, Zoo camp, drama camp. They are going to be happy when school starts back up.

* SAE, that would be a dope gig. Good luck.

* Have yet to go fishing this year. Sad and ridiculous. We're halfway thru June.

* My brother lives in Utah and his son is visiting him this week. They have been sending me pics and videos of all the fish they are catching in this beautiful river near his house. I couldn't be more jealous.

* Another brother was golfing with his BIL, Ed Cooley and Providence's AD up in Rhode Island over the weekend. Kinda weird.

* Shooting a few new commercials at a cool off-road park in Michigan next month. I'm trying to get permission to get behind the wheel myself and have some fun in my 4Runner when we are done shooting, but it is being frowned upon. C'mon, man. I'll sign a waiver or something. It looks like a blast.

* Heading out to my Dad's on Saturday. My girls are looking forward to playing in the creek. I am, too.

There wasn't much better than splashing around in a creek & catching crawladads, snakes and salamanders for little Wildcat Willy.

* Simple roasted Brussel sprouts with olive oil, salt & pepper have possibly become my favorite veggie. If I'm feeling sexy, I might add some shaved parm. Good stuff. And those charred single leaves that fall off? Whoooo boy!

* Giving my Weber Smoky Mountain to my nephew and my Weber kettle grill to my Dad to make room for the Blackstone. Apparently having 2 smokers, a grill and a 5' wide flat top set up on the patio was "too much" for Marge.

* Part of my haul in that UK sports apparel auction I "won" a few years ago was a t-shirt that said "Track School." Maybe they weren't kidding. That was some impressive **** last week.

* I'm still pissed at only using 10 scholarships and the whole Sharpe sitch, but I really think we are going to be good this year. I know it's not cool to think that around here, but touch it.

* I want to hear Rudd, Bonzo and Wyvern jam.

* Happy Hump Day, my friends.

Gibson Bay has those motorcycle carts. Apparently you need to download an app and you pay vendor, not course. A little pricier than a cart but, for above reasons, agree it would be sweet. Am a fast player, so in my wheelhouse.

Solitude is underrated. A book, a cigar, and a drink on back patio before sun goes down is pretty much ideal.

Will have to try shaved parm on the sprouts as I grill them all the time for the missus.

Today is a good day for Flavor-ice.

Met Damien Harris's father this morning on a job, dude was a trip.

My family is trying to plan out father's day. Mom asked what I wanted to do, I don't think she understood when I said "nothing"

Ran the truck through the wash today. Always feels good having a clean ride.

My son caught a trophy redfish last week on vacation. Pretty cool seeing how excited he was. Instantly one of my favorite fishing memories.

Thunder Run on Cumberland this weekend. Avoid that ****, yall have been warned.

Big ol rate hike today, should have happened months ago.

Hit up Rally's today for an afternoon milkshake. Not my typical play, but the 6yo was begging so I went for it. Glad I don't have anymore outside work today.

I love fishing, but really don't go during the summer. Too hot and too many lake lice stirring up the water. I'll be ready again after Labor day.

Planning to smoke ribs Saturday. Can't wait.

All you people that like Flavor-Ice probably used the pair of scissors that you cut dingleberries off the dog with to open up those suckers. You people are gross.

-Grats. So much easier to drop weight this time of year.

-Rear ended today. August 15th for the next repair option. Awesome. TJB.

-Of course I'm putting on. Just like you all don't care for the endless miserable darkness of 38 and wintery mix. 96 and swamp humidity sucks. Like 80 pointed out it's actually counter productive to my business. However, I'd take 84 everyday for the rest of my life and I'll choose heat/long days over cold/darkness every single time

-6 year old is running Astronaut in the Ocean into the ground. Cute because he's trying to rap along but ******* that song isn't near the quality to be heard this many times.

-Gone through most of the day thinking today was Thursday. It. Is. Not. Which is just a real bummer.

-I'll watch that Friday, assuming a couple hundred fans don't get in the way of his schedule again. I imagine everyone will look loose and athletic without him ranting and raving on the sidelines during crunch time.

-Chad nailed Hamilton, I'd put down a few drinks and was in the balcony. It was basically gibberish.

Rear ended today.
I didn't know you were married to Wynn.

I know I'm going to read Kyle Tucker reports all summer and fall and by November I'll be convinced that this team is a Final Four lock. Some things are eternal.

Maybe Cal, like everyone else, just needed to get out of the COVID funk and get his fat *** back to work.
