Any GYERO offspring watch this "Dude Perfect" bunch? One of their videos found its way on my YouTube feed, and I gotta admit, I could see how kids could get hooked on those trick-shot videos. I spent a good 5-6 minutes watching them myself. I see that they're coming to Rupp. If the show is a ton of trick shots being performed live, that could be a blast for the preteen crowd.

Anyone else come across the #1 sports channel in YouTube history with $30 million in annual revenue and 57 million subscribers? Just curious if anyone else has seen this obscurity pop up over the last 15 years.

Cricket (the sport) looks pretty dope. Need a middle-age cricket league in Central KY.

-always wanted to try it. Bunch of Indian dudes used to play in the field behind the Mormon church on alumni...planned on dropping by to watch, likely got drunk and forgot to.

- Shop local and whatnot but I’ve yet to find a finer softbatch chocolate chip cookie than the Pepperidge Farms Montauk.

- Watching “Candy” on Hulu which is a good show but set in 1980. I can barely stomach the late 70s/early 80s era. What a bizarre style-less time to be alive. Can’t imagine having to run game on some babe with a short perm. Manages to make Jessica Beal look unattractive. How did you olds manage?

- With my upcoming trip to the Bahamas with true Big Blue fans to watch the Cats preseason, was reminiscing about the Summer ‘95 trip to Italy when Pitino made his joke about the Pope asking where his ring was, and also the silly decision to run Delk at the point.

- Newport Italian Fest this weekend- one of my Dad’s favorite annual events, “I know all those damn Italians.” And sure enough, accompany him and he seems to know every single Italian in Newport- slapping backs, shaking hands, laughing, carrying on. Runs into roughly 180 people he knows.

- Favorite Ethnic Summer Beers:

1. Kalik - Bahamas
2. Red Stripe - Jamaica
3. Peroni - Italy
4. Pacifico- Mexico
5. Hofbrashaus Hefe Weizen - Germany

Lowenbrau was special occasion beer for my dad back in the day. Can’t recall ever having it although I’m sure it made its way into one of my summertime “whatever will get the job done” mismashes I threw together from dad’s fridge on my way out the door at 19.

“Hmm, four Beasts, an Old Milwaukee, about three ounces of rum from a bottle of Bacardi that hasn’t been touched in 15 years and a Bartles & Jaymes Peach Wine Cooler - looks like I’m about to have a nice little Wednesday night.”

Löwenbrau used to have a commercial where the son takes the dad out for a steak dinner… and picks up the tab.My dad would look at my older deadbeat brothers and say, ‘look how nice that boy is.”

I got upcoming rezzys for Ruby’s on the Friday of UK orientation. Me and him. If he picks up tab, it will be handed quickly to me🥔…maybe in 10 years, I will realize my Dad’s dream of an idyllic free dinner.

Found it. 🥺

-i paid for my dad's dinner once in my 20s...he was legit pissed off, haven't done it since.

^I will cook for him occasionally...but he will not abide his kid paying for dinner.

-I host t-giving every year...be damned if he doesn't slip me a c-note to "cover the bird(s) and ham" by the end of the night *every year*. Feeding folks is his love language, whatevs.

One dinner is a symbol though. Token. Needful rite of being a man.

Two nights ago, my kid went to a friends house for pizza… I sent with him along with 3lbs of brisket burnt ends I just pulled off the Egg. The kids raved and feasted on the last morsels of gristle. I too like to feed the tribe.

Abbastanza.

They take over a couple softball fields and a tball field up at our park. I’ve seen then many weekends, but I’ve never seen any action whatsoever. Sort of ticks me off. GET OFF THE BALL FIELD. There are perfectly fine and useless acres of soccer “pitches” they can stand on and do jack for 8 hours.

My favorite ethnic sport is Asian Golf. The most wholesome, respectable man you’ll ever see in sport.

Used to drink quite a bit of Grolsch. Probably started buying it because of the cool top but it was a solid beer.

- Dustin Johnson was the first "big" person to sign on...they're not giving a **** about august-west's freezer. Probably an added bonus to signing on for a lot, no/limited testing.

- The Flav-or-Ice hate is mind bottling. And I don't trust any MFer that didn't smash up the last bit and drink the juice.

- Think Livingston is going to be frustrating, albeit talented.

- In NC for the first time since the tournament. UNC, although a top three team next year, the fans are in DGAF mode. They got K's last two against UNC and are fine.

- Underrated mass production beer, Molson's Original.
