You got:

Juvy - 400 Degreez
BG - Chopper City
Hot Boyz 1

Random 1 hitters from big Tymers.

No Limit:

Master P Ice Cream Man
Master P Ghetto D
Young Bleed My Balls and My Word
TRU 1-2
Mystikal Unpredictable, I smell smoke from 2nd CD
C-Murder Life After Death

1 hitters off Mac, K&A, Silk, 100 other rappers

Juve had 4-5
BG 5-6
Wayne whatever + the first 2 Carters

I don't consider Hot Boys and Big Tymers first tier, but they certainly are when you put them up against whatever was behind P.

You're talking southern rap legacy

But most importantly, you're talking Mannie Fresh vs some seriously amateur Casio made beats.

For every hit NL had, there were 100+ complete throwaway tracks, and the majority of their albums were just...idk what, but P was laundering a **** ton more money than Birdman could ever dream of.

That Kane & Abel "Am I My Brothers Keeper was dope too. Same with Mia X "Unlady Like".

But you're leaving off 4 Wayne Albums to start with.
Lil Wayne had solos in 1999 and 2000 and then didn’t drop again until 2004 with the first Tha Carter. The Carters are good stuff but those first 2 Wayne albums were trash compared to his stuff on any other collaborations, and their first was Hot Boyz Get it How you live in 1997.

Master P Ice cream man was in 1996 and I believe the first TRU was in 1995.

I went to UK in Fall of 1998 and kinda was out of the New Orleans stuff by 2000 for awhile.

Why can’t I drop this.

Tha Carter 1, dropped in 04. Young money was founded in 05.

mannie >> KLC and Beats by the pound

But the NL guys were solid on beats.

They both had 100s of throw aways per good song. It’s what New Orleans was.

Seriously I’ll stop here. Have to stop here.

- Branham's projected UK class of Dillingham, Buzelis, Edwards, Sheppard, and Holland would take some of the Wagner sting off. Add to that an Ian Edwards reclass and a couple from the portal and we're cooking with gas again.*

- That new WR addition to the portal from Iowa seems like an ideal replacement for Baker, provided he doesn't end up with the Domers. Was 1st Team All-Big 10 as a return man, a threat we haven't had for a minute.

- When/if Mingione is told to BOOM, outta here, I want Cliff Godwin, the coach at East Carolina. I know nobody cares about baseballsucka, but the guy's a fiery, ornery sort who has been considered for big-time jobs in Power Five conferences, and would bring an edge to the program that is needed. Cliff Godwin...write that name down.

- That new Norm MacDonald special on Netflix can't get here soon enough.

- The husband of a teacher victim dying of a heart attack...reports of law enforcement botching the situation....I didn't think the Uvalde story could get even worse, but here we are.

*still probably won't make a Final Four, though

I saw P.O.S. and Minus the Bear at the Southgate House. It was awesome.

Also saw Third Eye Blind at a "private show" back when Julian's in Cincy still existed. Not nearly as cool some of the others, but both were just a helluva time.

I was friends with Chris Stapleton’s cousins at UK. We’d hang out at their apartment and he’d be sitting on the floor in the corner playing guitar and belting out songs - kind of off to the side (short hair, t-shirt and cargo shorts, just a normal guy). He was about to move to Nashville and they all *knew* he was going to make it big. - I remember thinking, “Good luck, Bub.” (Super nice guy - glad he made it.)

The small venue conversation reminds me of one of my favorite videos on YouTube. GNR playing in some Hollywood bar when they were first starting out. Crowd has no clue nor care about the happenings on stage.

As for me, saw Dylan at some ******** place in St Louis with my uncle.

Seeing a great band/act in a small venue is one of life's best treats. I really notice the bliss of a small venue with comedy, though. My wife and I love Comedy Off Broadway. For my birthday, she got Jo Koy tickets at Rupp. She got her feelings hurt because I had no desire to go. I just don't want to deal with Rupp for a comedy show. I'd much rather post up at Palmer's pregame then go have some drinks and laughs for a couple of hours with a couple hundred of my new best friends.

Pissed me off that she used my birthday as an excuse to buy herself a night out on the town, too, tbh.

- I think the most encouraging part of this entire discussion has been that Chris Stapleton wears(wore) cargo shorts.

- Good to see that kind of fire from Mingione last night this morning, but his screams of "Falcon Bolshoi" at the umpire might be something he wishes he could take back.

- I was kinda over Luka's act, so GOOD.

- Not sure I've ever seen a "before they hit it big" show, but the weirdest show I ever went to was Soul II Soul/C+C Music Factory at Timberwolf. Halfway through the concert they just stopped everything and had a 15-minute-long African fashion show. It was awkward. I went because of a girl, obvs.

- I know GYERO only uses freshly-sliced, farm-to-table, small-batch cheese, but Kroger's Buffalo Jack sliced cheese is the crossover I didn't know I needed.

- Just imagine Boat sitting in that theater last night waiting for "Top Gun" to start. Bet he was too nervous to even eat the snacks he snuck in beforehand. Probably just nodded with a big grin on his face during the opening sequence. Even odds that he let out a giant "WHOOOOO" during at least one flying sequence. May have even clapped at the end.
