Got one of these bad bitches on the way, based on the Clown's recommendation. I thought about a pellet smoker but I really don't want anything that involves wifi or whatever whenever I'm grilling or smoking.

Assuming I like the new grill, I'm gonna sell my Webers and Camp Chef two burner. What's the easiest way to sell that kind of stuff without dealing with crackheads or shipping like on ebay? Facebook Marketplace?

- Shew, this city just 'pops' for Derby. As my esteemed snarky colleague said, it's good to see this sleepy river town show it's proverbial plumage this past week.

- Congrats to Rich Strike for locating and ingesting the remaining supply of Jack3d. Horseyballs - no chance that ‘bred is clean, right? Some spectacular threading of the field by the jockey but still, when he hit the turn those reals knew the ants had just hit.

- Speaking of “winning the weekend” Bernie has to take the belt. From the looks of IG - ABH & bbdk missed by a nose.

- First Thurby and it was a hell of a time ,starting out with family and friends in the clubhouse then bouncing around the 3rd floor, flapping gums with randos and acquaintances of yesteryear. However cold dose of reality kicks in that boozing from 10 am to 3 am Friday morning is not possible at my age. Took the rest of the weekend to recover ☠️.

- My penchant for established women aside, have to be impressed by 80's singers Aimee Mann (61) and Susanna Hoffs (63) still getting it done. And Voices Carry is a jam.

- Derby weather wasn't bad but damn, yesterday was just glorious. This entire week is the bees knees of springtime in the Bluegrass where we get the heat w/o the oppressive humidity. Get out, pound the pavement and enjoy it folks 😎

-we all know there are no "bad" horses in the Derby...but that was still a mind bottling result. *Masterful* ride.

-I liked the 7...but the early pace was nuts and he committed metaphorical seppuku by trying to stay at the front.

-mom's day feast: pork shoulder, 3 cheese potato gratin, brussels Ala rudd1 and grilled wedge salads. A good time was had by all.

-7 years later and 1 day is plenty for this Ol' Vet.

-Need to stick to beer as well. Went a little heavy on the State Spirit Saturday.

-Befriended Michael Phelps for a few races so that was pretty fun. Helped him with a couple bets, I'm sure they lost, because I couldn't pick anything Friday/Sat. Tried to relocate him to invite him to dinner, which was a **** show itself, but was probably too drunk to find him later in the day.

-Crew had a great day though. Just some good old unabashed All American fun.

-Stupid 80-1 cost me the only shot at making money all day. F*cker. 80-1 ot of Gate 21. F*ck off.

-Weather this week. Shew Boy. Let's get it.

-Cacio e pepe was the Mother's Day request since we got our Saturday night dinner, same thing, to go and promptly forgot the to go bag. Anyway, the key is finely grated parm and liberal use of the pasta water. Crushed it.

Will Levis is tall, big, strong, has a big arm, and can move well.

It's the NFL. They *beg* college football for guys like that every year to draft them and pray they work out. Most of them do not. If you want to be skeptical about his potential NFL success, I'm on board. On the other hand, being skeptical that he goes 1st round is rather foolish.

Even the slightest improvement over last year will guarantee Levis as a first round pick and if we're being honest you should tack on a 3 month self-ban this year for these takes last year.

I am concerned our QB (Levis) is gonna be trash.

I watched some of the clips on Levis:

  • Penn State sucked and he couldn't win the starting job
  • Was a 3-star guy even with great size and arm strength

  • Not sure that "doing the right" is telling a kid that he's second string so he'll transfer. We're paying Stoops a lot of money to win, and that means having depth. Plus, with NIL or whatever it's called, Gatewood can make some money so this is a professional environment.
  • Levis doing stupid **** like eating a banana skin and all is just dumb. Go work on understanding the playbook instead of making TikTok's, clown.

The fact that he will have been in an NFL system with Coen and Scangerello for 2 years is also a big positive for him as well. He’s got a lot of things going for him to go in the 1st round if he shows any improvement this year.

*Man, what a freaking weekend. Started on Thurby with a free ticket. All you can eat and drink. I did one if those and I'll let you guess which one I chose.

*Friday. I was getting ready for work when my Romanian buddy text me and told me he had a ticket for Oaks. Welp, called one of my managers and told him to cover for me. Ended up at a JE house until 4:30 in the morning. Birds were chirping when I was dropped off. Shew

*Saturday: House party that had a band playing on the porch. Lots of good people. Greatest thing was I was talking to someone and they said, "Hey, **** brids are here." I was confused for a minute then realized it was my ex and her new friend. Best part was a group of 8 women saw them and yelled for me to come dance with them. Good times. Finished the night at the same house around 3:30

*Sunday: Smoked some pork belly and went to a friends party.

*Today: Feel. Like. ****.

I think Levis is a solid SEC QB and I'm glad he's on our team. But I don't think we appreciated how freaking good Wan'Dale was. He's a 5'8 WR who just got drafted in the second round, 43rd overall. Wan'Dale made Levis look a lot better than he is imo.

Given you have 2 locks already for 1st round in Stroud and Young, w/ a possible Rattler as another first choice for someone, it is a huge stretch to even think Levis would be a first rounder. There isn't a team that needs him, especially w/ their first pick. He would have to take a tremendous leap. Huge.

You're father would have done the world a favor if he'd jerked off on a rock and let the ants eat it instead of knocking up your mom.

UKO with another gem.

The NFL is a reality show for QBs anymore. If you don’t have a stud, you need one

The following teams could/should be in QB Market
Dolphins
Patriots
Colts
Texans
Titans
Eagles
Giants
Commanders
Vikings
Lions
Panthers
Falcons
Saints
Buccaneers
Seahawks

If anyone is looking to move to Woodford County, my little slice of heaven will be on the market next week. Fully updated, 3,100 square feet, 5 bedrooms, half acre perfect for entertaining, 15 minutes to downtown Lexington, 45 minutes to Gene Snyder in Louisville if you don't drive like a pu$$y, and located in the jewel of Central Kentucky, Versailles.

Would have jumped on that had the county not voted us down.

Not to pile on to the idiocy of no teams need QBs, but Levis is a first round pick. What a complete stupid take if you haven’t been watching the NFL for decades take the likes of Akili Smith and Jamarcus Russell over and over and over.

I believe Memorial Day is our next long weekend, but more importantly, is the official start of Loud Boom Season.

Maybe its just me but there seem to be a lot of prisoner escapes lately. I've thought about it a lot- and I firmly believe I could find a way to get out of jail. I also have a necessary knowledge of most of the non-extradition countries.

  • The Versailles McDonald's (off of 60) is one of the highest quality McDonalds around. You should include that in your description above, Huber.
  • It's cute seeing 80 get so upset over a Levis take. As the kids would say, 80 must be a Levis-stan (did I get that right?). Dear 80 - I said I like Levis. Please don't take my comments to mean you shouldn't follow him do funny little things like eat the peels of fruit on Insta.
  • If you read the list of QBs that PTI posted, who do you really trust in the SEC?
    • Bryce Young for sure. But even though he won the Heisman he didn't look great in the playoffs.
    • KJ Jefferson: Another guy with Levis's size. Everbody has this guy ranked 2 or 3 in the SEC. I just haven't seen him play enough.
    • Hendon Hooker had insane stats last year. But if he's so good why is he still in college at age 24?
    • Rattler - I'm in the camp that thinks he kind of sucks
    • Will Rogers at Miss St - Huge stats but he's running the Air Raid
    • Stetson Bennett - C'mon
    • Jaxson Dart - Played pretty well in limited games last year at USC
    • The rest of them (not including Levis) - not too good at all
