The Athletic did a hit piece on a women's college basketball coach, which includes this gem:

Alleged overt sexual language directed at both players and staffers, including telling one player — who had a previously known mental-health diagnosis — that the player wasn’t depressed, she just “needs some dick.” Later, Cooper-Dyke called the player a “sorry-*** virgin.”

“The spread” was all the rage back in 2007, particularly as inspired by Tim Tebows running ability. I distinctly remember 73 dog cussing Andre Woodson after that Tennessee game. He couldn’t wait to get rid of that sorry *** cement footed loser and bring in a real QB who could run and throw in an innovative offense.

Curtis Pulley, of course. The would be savior.

- MattsCats is on top of the entire Derby/Oaks card. You can't go wrong taking his advice. I am.

- I'm surprised Secret Oath is flying under the radar in the Oaks. She was being pointed for the Derby. She ran a competitive 3rd in the Arkansas Derby against the boys last time out. Made a very impressive sweeping move a little too early on the turn and then flattened out. Jockey may have moved her too early? I just find it interesting that many handicappers seem to be ignoring her.

- Seems like the classic combo of the sock + dress shoe is going extinct. So many "bros" going with nice loafs but no socks OR suits with sneakers. High school kids going to prom looking like Pee Wee Herman.

Which brings me to this: Kinda disappointed in SAE's Thurby photo, tbh. That's a guy I consider a throwback, but there he was. Navy blazer, khakis, nice loafs, no socks. First the Fat Boys break up. Now this.

- Going to be good bourbon weather, I guess. #silverlinings

- All caught up on Better Call Saul. Going to be a wild ride to the finale. I've never gone so back and forth on a character's hotness like I have Kim Wexler. In some scenes she is hotter than a 2 dollar pistol. Other times it's all I can do to muster a "meh." I probably need to see a therapist about it.

- Good luck and have fun, y'all.

I’m underwhelmed by these coach-bashing articles 99% of the time. I guess it’s the coach’s fault as it’s their job to reach players but these athletes need thicker skin. I’m no Urban Meyer fan - I hate him actually- but the one about him with the Jags left me feeling like what kind of p-bois are in the NFL now.

I don’t know - I recall my Dad telling me “maybe I should sign you up for girls’ volleyball.” after a particularly ****** basketball game I had in grade school. Didn’t make me feel great but it’s sports and that and other “tough” coaching left me able to handle criticism as an adult.

-Overcast and 63 tomorrow. Alright. Let's make those clouds a high ceiling and things will really pop.

-Crappy weather around the Derby is kind of endearing. I know it's a part of most of my favorite memories. Swimming in a lake in the infield Smarty Jones year. Was in 1994 when a hail storm pummeled the Central Block Party?

-Nice hit yesterday to pad the coffers for the weekend.

-Couple of solid NYT 'The Morning' reads in a row. First about how detrimental closing schools was and the other on how we torched trust in our government.

-Dow Jones 🤬😳

-SAE doesn't support the Derby panache. It's fine to add a little flare. It's not a country club event. Have fun. That said, great looking couple and worthy of a profile pic.

-Speaking of, the pictures from yesterday 😍 Last year was a nice respite from the other nonsense with the pandemic but looks like a distant memory from the social media updates yesterday. Can't wait. The lasses were showing off.

-I'm just here for the BBdk/ABH updates from Oaks. That should be a hoot.

My closest girl friend “dated” Pulley in college. Apparently he’s absolutely hilarious and ridiculous. Their friend group still speak highly of him.
Is this the girl with the absolutely fantastic *** that was at the 2011 Final 4 Bonzo extravaganza?

~Hunter Greene is making Homer Bailey look good. Good grief, hope he is saving his money.

~Thanks to mother nature and TLC, my yard is Augusta-esque. Mowing every 3 days w/ a few IPA's is always cathartic.

~Ozark, SOA, Breaking Bad, Saul.....pure genius scripts.

~Cool Saturday for golf, Derby = let the finest of brown water be served.

~Longshot ex box....Cyberknife, Charge It, Crown Pride, Taiba

~Mint Juleps suck.

Everyone enjoy your weekend.

In honor of the boys of summer...

I enjoyed Breaking Bad all they way through, even as it got more and more ridiculous. Ozark started off okay, but with promise, and has progressively gotten worse to the point of being unwatchable. The overall plot gives it a chance to be good, but it just has a terrible, terrible script. Bateman is the only decent actor with a major role as well. Family Feud is much better TV.

Ozark has definitely gone the way of BB, as in ridiculously bad. This last season of Ozark has been particularly awful. What a heaping pile of steaming ****!

My hunch is you got lost during the opening credits, and that you need a teleprompter like your dementia patient, JB.

My 3 yr old granddaughter has some See Spot Run books...want to borrow one?
