If I see one more headline that reads "Waller to Packers for 3 draft picks in latest trade proposal", lord help me.

No, not from some GM or team executive talking the draft, some paper pushing fatso sports journalist playing keyboard front office.

Georgia's D with a record 5 players taken in the first round, with Nakobe Dean atop the best available list. They have another LB expected to go early-mid 2nd round. Hell, even the FSU DE that fell transferred from Georgia. That's absurd defensive talent.

- This NIL stuff is the biggest example of "Ready, Fire, Aim" I've ever seen in my life. I'm not against it, per se. The players should have the right to capitalize. But there was absolutely no thought given to this before the barn doors were opened. What a mess.

- Luka whines. So. Much. I mean, they all do...but his just seems to be more consistent than everyone else's, and more over-the-top. Still, this version of the Jazz just gets on my nerves. Snyder, Gobert, their fans...I never minded the Stockton/Malone/Sloan era, always respected it. But this bunch? Get out.

- Anyone else finding that they can't handle spicy food like they used to? Tried to eat some wings last night during the draft and was just about brought to tears. And these weren't the ghost pepper/habanero variety. Guess it makes me less of a man.

- Kids are settling into a nice sports groove. The youngest is taking hers more seriously (which was needed), and the oldest is less stressed about hers (which was also needed). Both are gaining a healthier perspective.

- Both kids have also developed a fascination with our nation's history. The oldest just got back from a school trip to D.C. and is now interested in going to college there, and the youngest wants us to take her this summer. Nice changeup from the beach/Disney, etc. Plus, I'll get to take in a Nats game.

- Memphis should close it out tonight and then let’s rock n roll with Steph/Ja.

- The titans had the shock of the draft trading AJ Brown and as pissed as I was I get it. Still though I didn’t see it coming, and now predictions are we will take Willis if he is still there at 2.3

The Jets won the first round. What a draft they’ve already had!

It's not the "eating" part that bothers me more than it used to, it's the next day.

Nope. Team didn’t exercise his option for next year either. He’s auditioning without a net in ‘22.
They still have a week. That was gamesmanship predraft BS as I’m sure teams were calling to see what it would take to get 5 or 7.

once the teams wanting a QB realized they could wait there was no action.

Still another than all the CBs taken the first round was good. Now it’s time for the great teams to show why they win. 2nd/3rd rounds are where teams are built.

- You guys are answering spam calls? lol, losers.

- The Steelers can get pumped to infinity, but Kenny Pickett's reaction to getting picked was precious. (blonde on his right had the face of "I can't believe I've been hanging on to this loser with a GD mullet" for the first half of the round, though.)

- The talking heads were talking up some safety and my fiance says, "they don't draft safeties in the first round." Two hours later: "and the AFC Champions, the Cincinnati Bengals, select..." 🤣

- Whoever drafted the law of the universe that says if you incur some car related expense, you will thereafter have to do some major, expensive home improvement/replacement/repair: DIAF. RIP to our HVAC. (Yes, we are calling Bryant for a quote. Duh.)

- The outright aggressive hatred the Packers front office has for Aaron Rodgers is my hatboggan.

-I can still handle heat, but I have to moderate my fried food intake these days. I'll be a mess all night and won't sleep if I don't limit that to the occasional fried fish/chicken night, and only 1 fried item on the plate when I do.

-Wynn gummie and a couple rocky mountain sodas last night for the draft. Best part for me was watching the CFB highlights tbh. Man, I can't wait for fall.

-I really like an overcast spring day with ambient temps.

-First experience involved 69. I had seen it enough before to know that when the opportunity finally presented I was going for it. Fortune favors the bold, folks.

-Paschal was just an animal last year. He's made my top 10 wildcats of all time list, I believe.

Redwood Tree - Van Morrison
Nas is Like - Nas
You Worry Me - Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats
Big Me - Foo Fighters
Pickin Up the Pieces - Widespread Panic

Tomato based sauces absolutely kill me these days. Can still do spicy to an extent.

Will say Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother is the quickest way to fight off heartburn/acid reflux.
