Speaking of coffee…

Blue Bottle 17’ Ceiling espresso God shot this morning. Truly awesome.
F*ck you, man. I'm over here choking down Karen's coffee and it's making feel worse by the second. What kind of fat slob drinks this on a daily basis? I bet she even convinces herself this **** is "healthy". I hope that c*nt is enjoying my regular coffee but I'm sure she went in and asked for the manager.

Our long national nightmare may soon be over...

Blow up Twitter the moment you buy it and I'll get on the electric train with an S-Type.

Keep the platform but suspend all journos from using and I'll test drive.

- Rarely drink coffee but it's black, unless I'm the mixologist. Triple espresso and move on. Too many heavy handed sugar fairies out there.

- God bless wcc and others who have the time and mental capacity to think about how our basketball team *may* be constructed next year. Just pure mental masturbation at this point to fantasize about us landing players who will likely go elsewhere and regardless, will be played out-of-position / underutilized by our idiot coach.

- Some feigned argument about leaving or pulling Kershaw.

- 80 pitches, should have left him for the 8th to see how he fared.

- Snyder embezzling money from the other 31 owners and the League, along with the cheerleader scandal and other shady ish he's done, has to be the straw.

- Flown 5 times this year. Mask through TSA, immediately off then walking on the plane. Nobody gives a rip in the terminal and not a word has been said. Folks are beyond done with the charade.

- Getting the clubs out for the first time this afternoon. Cue the yakety sax

I know I'm not the user Twitter focuses on because they keep screwing with my timeline but I use Twitter for 3 things:

Immediate News
Sports Updates
Jokes

It's the only social media left I can get those things from because they're not completely overrun with ads and "The Algorithm". YET.

When the beans are 4 days removed from roasting date, they’ve offgassed enough for the perfect extraction. 201° through a 58mm portafilter, for 27 seconds… lightly (20lb psi) tamp, controlled by a proportional integral derivative bad *** machine. Spring water too. Eureka.

Tell that c*nt what’s up.

Black coffee is the correct coffee. A shot of espresso is nice too.

A Rex Chapman thread on this forum will get deleted quicker than Pitino can go down his leg.

My electric is one of three meters on a run from a substation that is maybe 500 yds long. I rarely lose power, thankfully. Still have my house wired to plug in a generator.

Got my new Orvis nymphing rod yesterday. Put that thing together and creamed my drawers.

Not sure what to make of Musk. He'll say things I can agree with.
Some of his actions are somewhat questionable that people overlook because they like his bravado.
He's been accused of pump and dumping stock. Possibly criminal.

His Tesla is government funded and I find "green energy" a money grab.

So, I trust him as much as Gates, Bezos, Zuck and the rest.

It must really be perplexing for the kids. They hate big business but worship big tech and Amazon. Now, you got a guy who challenges their beliefs, may take away the toy that prevents them from hearing "truths", and they wet their pants. Can't have it all kids.

Edit-Per @Iowahawkblog- Here is the fundamental problem with Twitter: There are YouTube millionaires There are Instagram millionaires There are TikTok millionaires Nobody but Twitter has made a plug nickel off this site.

-Twitter is my preferred social media platform because it is the most impersonal. It also gives the best opportunity to consume world news and perspectives. All facebook is good for is unfriending people IMO. That's just the best.

-Dropping something between a carseat and the middle console is just the worst. Love breaking my fat hands reaching down to grab it.

-Went to school mass this morning because the little lady asked me to. Was nice. She loves her Daddy. But, I was struck by the solid level of participation and lack of laughter from the kiddos tbh. There was more than one occasion when I looked around wishing one of my old St. Agnes pals was there to make eye contact with and burst into tears attempting to hold it in, tempting the teacher's wrath. The kids didn't bat an eye at awkward solo singing by a classmate or a funny sounding word from a reader. Disappointing.

-Heine Brothers Americano this morning. Jerk ahead of me in the drive thru paid for it, so I had to pick up the order behind me. Net loss of $5 for Dad. /eyeroll

-Caught some of Blank and Rummage this morning and they were talking heeeeaaaappps of **** about UK and Cal. That rivalry is going to storm back with a vengeance, folks.

-Gave the lass a heads up that I was tying one on this weekend. Least I could do.

-Wynn gummies shipped. Sativa/Boost. Had to F around and find out, I guess.

-Think I'm headed to Chicago Derby Day for a buddy's 40th bday dinner. I've never cared less about the first Saturday in May, and the horse racing industry can SAD. Those people could use a solid reality check on how little some people give AF about them or their crooked *** sport.

-Bourbon season wrapping up. All beer and clear for Dad May - Labor Day. And like richie, no jeans.

The most awkward phone call ever made was each individual male in my 7th or 8th grade class having to call our parents, most at work, on speakerphone with a principal over our shoulder after a "gross display during the morning's service."

That display involved all of us remaining completely silent during the reciting of "We come to your table"- except throughout the prayer we all, loudly, would yell the "come" parts as they rolled around. Just a class full of a dozen or so guys yelling only "come."

There is not a bourbon season. Bourbon has a time and place all year long. If you aren't enjoying a pour on the deck on a nice summer night, then you are doing it wrong.

Ridiculous.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. And the little summer hiatus has forced me to explore some other cocktails, making me a more well-rounded lush. I see no error.

My 6 yo behaves way better in mass than I ever did at that age. My dad actually called me last week after the kid spent the weekend with them just to tell me that. According to my grandmother, my dad wasn't the best in mass either so he must get it from his mom.

If you put a tablespoon of half and half in your coffee and you drink two cups of coffee a day, that's 40 extra calories per day. Multiply that by 365 days and then again by 40 years (assuming you started drinking coffee at age 25) you'll weigh an extra 166 lbs by the time you retire. #Math #Science #Diet

My school split the sexes through 4-8th grades (which by the way is a model the entire country should adopt) anyway needless to say the sound from the chapel during an all boys mass and an all girls mass were very different.

While I am of course referring to the volume and quality of the singing by the respective student bodies, I expect the phrasing will lead itself to some child sex humor. Anyway happy Holy Week everyone.
