I love One Shining Moment. I will always make it a point to watch it.

When it is us cutting down the nets, it is better than glorious, but even when it isn’t us, it is still a celebration of all that is college basketball, and even when it is bittersweet, it reminds me why I love it and why I continue to watch.

Anyone who wants to disparage it: keep One Shining Moment out cha mouth. It is the very symbol of why we do this.

I’m no lawyer, but designating a job for anybody but white men seems super illegal under the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

also equates to allowing discrimination against ANY other race

We have to refute loxism / prejudice towards caucasians just as we would if you’d encountered prejudice against any other group of idiots on this planet

you don’t institutionalize discrimination and ethnic penalties against anyone

not NARY one soul damnit

anything else is us becoming what we say we stand against

Didn’t watch a minute of the Cheaters Championship. Would be fitting for the dyslexic UK to have the banner taken and about 150 wins erased but the NCAA are cucks.

John B. CaliHall better take his head out of his *** and get **** right with a quickness. Anything less should be grounds for being racked and quartered. He keeps saying we’re crazy but I really don’t think he fully understands the gravity of the situation. Sharpe’s situation is step one in the quickness department. Failure on that step is a slippery slope he can’t recover with WOP BS and his best bet would be to move before he wakes up with a horse head.

Why in the hell would they speak his name? We have become irrelevant.
Exactly. What were broadcasters going to do, rank the Top 3 washed up fatasses in college basketball or something?

The makeup of the Final Four was the absolute worst for UK fans but the results were the best that could have been expected after Justin Moore went down. Can't be mad at soul-crushing losses for both Duke and UNC, I guess. Also, the conclusion of the tournament is probably much-needed for my mental health as the way it played out made me even more irate with HOFFatWop.

Summer might not technically start until Memorial Day, but eff it -- I'm going to pretend it is already here and do my best to not think about UK basketball until November. (Spoiler alert -- it won't work.)

Bless you boys that continued to watch that shitstain of a tournament. I tried to watch a little bit last night, but I just couldn’t.

It’s going to get worse before it gets better (with someone new). I’m basing this off of evidence, not nuance or context. It’s glaringly obvious the direction of this program.

That’s why I’d be tickled if Cal left (for any reason). Rip the bandaid off right now. RFN.

If Oscar is gone they better have a damn good reason why they're not pursuing Aimaq and Broome.

I didn't realize that the TAMU recruiting coordinator that Stoops poached was a woman. That's a double whammy of forward thinking from my favorite UK coach. Steal someone from Jimbo Fisher's staff after an incredible recruiting haul and add a diversity hire. Since we are in the SEC rather than the NFL, there probably won't be any ******** quotas on minority hires but it never hurts to get the best person for a job who also gives us some cover if any woke ******** start rumbling.

This is the culture that Cal has built. Players first was a nice little catchphrase way back when, but now it’s turned into “get out of there as soon as possible.” Use UK, BBN, the facilities, NIL, etc. and go do you. And the wild thing is: IT’S NOT REALLY THE KIDS’ FAULT FOR THINKING THIS!!!!! This is what Cal has cultivated. You reap what you sew and whatnot. Drink it in, you guys.

OK, I’m done. Sorry.

- Got down to Panama City Beach to celebrate Spring Break with *my people* yesterday, so I’ve found my edge again. I was just trying to purge some/all hostile feelings I’ve had all winter about everything . . . for closure.

- I’ll be back to my kind, sophisticated, aloof self by lunch time today. Pray that me and family avoid gunshot wounds and knife fights.

-At least it seems like he's actually recruiting these guys back. Oscar. Maybe the biggest recruit of his career.

-Davis wasn't an Unanimous POY? I'm just assuming Forde or O'Neil voted for someone else.

-Masters on the Range, wall to wall Big Cat coverage. 😍

-Hideki with an outstanding menu. Sushi, miso glazed cod, A5 Waygu ribeye. Shew.

-First Rookie League game was a straight beatdown DUB. Solid little club with tons of upside.

-Still working on the ***** Hummer Limo and group dinner Steakhouse reservations. Let me know who's in/out.

-Is it SWFL that is into kayaks? Looking at one for the river. Buddy is selling the Old Town brand at his store.

-Alright NCAA, I know you will, but don't let me down.

The sun rose this morning and with it, the promise of another basketball season in the books. Sure, a traditional blue blood won but dark clouds swirl.

The point of all of this is to say that 98-69 is meaningless with a UNC 'ship. Now, it's still a pretty good reminder that we can be relevant if we do it right.

Get Oscar his NIL without jeopardizing his Visa, get Sharpe the hell out of here (I'm so ticked about this situation that I'm beyond making it work) and get Shannon on board and let's roll. A starting lineup of Wheeler (or a transfer replacement) - Wallace/Frederick - Shannon Jr - Toppin - Oscar has me hella giddy.

Bit of a logjam at the 4/5 spot with Livingston/Collins/Ware and even potentially Brooks coming back so we need to look at some guards.

Either way, I'll worry about all this in November. It's football time!

I agree and I think Cal deserves criticism for being responsible for allowing this to happen.

However, I do think he recognizes that this has gotten out of control and would like to change this to require that only those kids who succeed at UK should actually proceed. The problem is that he's attracting these "I'm gone ASAP" people to the program and they honestly don't give a **** about his opinion nor advice on when they should leave.

And Cal will NEVER admit that publicly. He's too arrogant, proud and stubborn to do so.

I was hopeful that this year would cause him to further embrace the transfer portal to add a couple of veterans and a couple McD's All-Americans every year to create more roster continuity and get back to something similar to the model he had at Memphis (which was amazing).

I've seen nothing this year to lead me to believe that will occur.

If your mostly going to be river/creek fishing I’d go with a smaller yak 10 or 11ft. Something that’s easy to manage and maneuver in current. I have a Wilderness 12 and a Native 14ft that I can stand in but that’s probably something you won’t be doing anyway in a swift river. If it’s Old Town then I’d recommend the Sportsman 106 it’s a sit on top and they probably have a peddle drive model or just paddle version. The thing with peddle drive system is you have to pull it up if you float over very shallow sand bar or rock bed.

This is him getting his priorities out of order. . . imo. I don’t think he’s purposely dumping on the history/tradition of the program, but his messaging and marketing are getting away from him. Can’t keep everyone happy atkot.

I just hope that someone makes sure Cal knows that Pitino put us on top, only for himself to let us fall behind.

Hitting him in the ego is the only way to get his attention.

Also, probably not a coincidence that the apparent dropoff in Cal's motivation happened about the same time that Pitino left U of L. Cal needs an enemy / foil to fuel his chainsaw mentality that he has (had) when he is (was) at his best.
