If I’m not mistaken we were up 15 at one point against KU in 2012. If it weren’t for a help/recovery block by MKG…well who knows
I like to believe we gave Self some experience being down 20 in the title game. This should be a piece of cake compared to clawing back against our 2012 squad.

To all the real unc fans who are also not adulterers, you had a good run.
Nothing wrong with having that title. But Utah sure as **** is glad they’re off the hook.And UK lost largest halftime deficit in title game comeback.
I think that biggest takeaway from the game was that even Carolina, the flagship Jordan school, can’t get clean Nike gear. The coaching staff was wearing johnnie-O quarter zips with a Jumpman logo tacked on.
Two programs that committed massive, sweeping rules violations, and neither faced a single consequence for it. Come on out Mark Emmert, this is your big moment, you earned this.

With that said, we have the Wildcats slotted here with two big decisions on the horizon: What happens with National Player of the Year Oscar Tshiebwe, as well as redshirt freshman guard Shaedon Sharpe? With the possibility of earning real NIL money in college we're going to keep Tshiebwe here until we hear otherwise, and with Sharpe projected as a Top 10 pick without ever playing at Kentucky, it feels reasonable - for now - to keep him off next year's roster.
So now what the off-season really comes down to is the backcourt: If John Calipari comes to the conclusion that Sahvir Wheeler isn't the lead guard that can get him back to a Final Four (and early indications seem to indicate Wheeler isn't that guy), can Calipari find someone in the portal? And can he find enough shooting to surround whoever he ends up with at point and down low? The return of the injured CJ Fredrick helps, but it won't be enough.
Of every team on this list, it feels like Kentucky could look the most different between now and the start of the season.
What I don't doubt however, is John Calipari's ability to figure out a way to get talent to Lexington in the off-season.
