I'd rather Duke win than UNC or Kansas. With Duke, I'll believe that program was the product of Coach K and will fall off after he retires until I see otherwise. UNC and Kansas are our true rivals for college basketball supremacy. UCLA might have the most titles, but Wooden was basically Coach K of his day and they haven't been a true threat since.

Hey, sometimes you have a bad loss in the tournament. It happens. But this year, man, we had a goddamned good team. A really good team. Two of these teams playing tonight, we absolutely murked. Destroyed. Then we took a **** on their lifeless, deformed corpses.
And then….who knows? What the hell even happened? I can’t explain it. I truly have no idea. It defies any explanation.
Subsequent to tonight, I will not care to think of this year again.

I’ve been spending a lot of time over at redlegnation.com. Like PTI(pti) mentioned the other day, the Reds have some interesting pieces. Color me intrigued.
I’ve also been browsing some motorcycle gang websites. I’m legitimately thinking about this as an option. I don’t currently have a bike, but I know how to ride. My old man says that the Iron Horsemen have a pretty vibrant local chapter.

I hate UNC with the power of 1000 suns. They are over all my most hated rival team, but although Hubert Davis is a douche, I despise K almost as much as I despise UNC.
I am nauseous at the thought of UNC winning another title and I am nauseous at the thought of K going out a winner. The alternative is Kansas winning the title and being ahead of us.

I smoked some ribs today. Bought them from my butcher after the family went on a morning hike at California Woods. Applewood and pork is probably the most heavenly of marriages. Drank some bud heavy longnecks. Threw some footballs and baseballs to my boys. A 50 degree and gray, but dry, Kentucky sky. About as good as you can ask for, really.
Spent the afternoon at Kentucky Proud Park watching OUR Kentucky Wildcats take on the 9th-ranked Ole Miss Rebels. I've criticized Mingione for taking a promising program trajectory and seemingly running it into the ground. but it was nice to see a bunch of guys in Kentucky jerseys scrap their way to an impressive victory.
Would much prefer to focus on that bunch, the football program, Abby Steiner, etc. rather than whatever glorified pickup team our overpaid coach tries to piece together between now and October. This baseball team probably doesn't have a legitimate MLB prospect on the entire roster, and probably won't make the NCAA tournament, but for one day at least, it felt good to cheer for kids who are actually proud to say they'll always be Wildcats, etc.
