Oh ye of such faith.

Keion will be back. Keion will start at the 4. Livingston will play a version of Trey Lyles at the 3 because Cal thinks that's what we need. It will be a flop. This is assuming Hopkins isn't back and being forced into minutes at the 3 as well.

What a cluster. This coming season's roster just doesn't make much sense on paper as it is right now. Does Frederick get any real run? Wheeler isn't getting benched if he comes back, so what does that mean for Wallace? Tyty type role?

Obviously all of this is subject to portal change.

Right I get portal changes but just don’t see it being what it was for us last year.

I don’t see Wheeler coming back.

Intelligent roster management with an overall cohesive strategy designed for continuity and sustained success?

Hard pass. This is Kentucky.
The problem ultimately is that Cal carries the attitude that he can "adjust his system to whatever the roster dictates", yet the result is him literally plugging whatever guys he gets into the very same goddamned system every goddamned year.

Do you get paid $9m/yr to consistently over-promise and under-deliver?

If not, I kindly suggest you STFU. Cal is a master of his craft.

Where is he going to go though? Europe? There's 0 reason to believe Cal will play Wallace at the 1 over Wheeler after starting him all year.

I don't even see Wheeler as our main issue. Keion coming back and continuing his reign as black hole on offense and vacuous body on defense is my main concern. Like the guy as a person but could do without what he brings to the table for UK.

"This Thing Busted as Hell" Randos:

- A kid obliterated my car this morning backing into it, but I wasn't in it, he stuck around and he has insurance, so I am declaring my **** luck streak over and taking a W from the jaws of defeat. I AM BACK, BITCHES. 😤 LFG, etc. GYERO, let's turn this **** around.

- @wcc31, if you haven't already, add Accused to your queue. I haven't gotten to the most recent season yet but the first two are EXCELLENT, with the added bonus of Cincy/NKY flavor.

- My favorite reaction to the Will Smith non-story has been jabronis acting like a grown man slapping another man was the most SHOCKING and TRAUMATIC thing they've ever seen on live TV. I'm 33, and I remember watching following:

* The Oklahoma City bombing
* the McVeigh execution coverage, in 7th grade Social Studies class because why the hell not I guess
* Kosovo on fire
* the OJ chase
* people jumping out of a 110 story building on fire while a plane flew into another building next to it
* said buildings collapsing with thousands of people inside
* 2003 invasion of Iraq
* crazy white people storming the US Capitol
* Malice at the Palace
* Tyson biting Holyfield's ear off
* Janis Jackson's tittay
* DC sniper coverage in my hometown where they showed tarps covering bodies still on the pavement at the gas station
* Saddam's execution
* Russia bombing Ukrainian civilians

And that's off the top of my head, not to mention the gazillion disgusting sports injuries I've seen in real time. Just LMFAO. Let's all get off the internet and take a little stroll outside in the sunshine if an open-hand slap makes you traumatized in the year of our Lord 2022.

- Speaking of jabronis, Evil from the WWE (I think on Peacock? maybe Paramount Plus?) is a blast. The Hulk Hogan episode was my favorite, duh. As usual for wrasslin', the production is top notch. Main takeaway: Kevin Nash is still one remarkably handsome SOB.

- Someone bring the spring game scuttlebutt up in here.

Yeah. I don't understand where people think Wheeler is going to go or, worse, people who think that we would somehow be better off without Wheeler. He's not the second coming of Gary Payton but he's a damn good collegiate point guard and having a true veteran point guard starting would be a luxury we've never had under Cal.

Same goes for Brooks. It would be awesome to have him and Toppin, too.

To clarify, I don't want Wheeler gone but I do think he needs to share the load if he's having a spaz game or decides to dislocate his spine during a pick and roll.

Brooks hurts the team, he's the only one I'm concerned about coming back because it will be at the expense of Toppin developing, who could become quite the player next year.

I got in touch with UK about my friend's son and figured the request would languish in an inbox forever...I got a call back within 40 minutes, they're all over it. Staff let his recruiting contacts know before they even called me back. Since he's an active 2024 recruit they can't directly contact him right now (I didn't even think of that, duh) but they're working with his HS coaches to get word to him. 😭 FTGE, etc., but sometimes there are little bright spots, too, and we got one with this FB program.

I like Wheeler…but for him to be efficient he needs at least 3 shooters on the floor with him.

I sometimes like Brooks (don’t want to run him off)…but for him to be efficient he needs at least 3 shooters on the floor with him.

I love Toppin…but for him to be efficient he needs at least 3 shooters on the floor with him (would be awesome to see him with 4).

Oscar has to be in my favorites ever to play here…but for him to be the most efficient he can be he needs at least 3 shooters on the floor with him (would be double awesome to see him with 4).

I like Hopkins/Collins but for either to be efficient they need at least 3 shooters on the floor.

I can go on but you get the point.

Thread is dead randos:

*If I had a single K-12 do-over, I'd actually pay attention and work at learning Spanish (or any foreign language). I aced the class but my Spanish is limited to ordering "one more", asking "where is the bathroom?", and counting to like 20.

*I spent an hour arguing about where my client and the opposing party should attend therapy. It was truly an exercise in pettiness. Family Law!!!

*If you need to get the garlic smell off your fingers post-prep, stainless steel does the trick. Just rub a spoon for a bit. Big hack for the home cooks out there.

*...speaking of, the new Traeger Timberline grills look insane. I've already taken up all my patio space with the Weber, Blackstone, and Ooni pizza oven. I'm not a real GYEROMAN, so it's not in the budget, but damn those things look awesome.

*Kawhi Leonard is a weirdo and probably overrated at this point.

*Dialing back into the NBA after we **** the bed in the tournament. Philly, Phoenix, or Milwaukee are playing for it, imo. The Celtics are interesting, but I just don't believe in Tatum or Brown in crunch time.

*Yasso greek yogurt deserts are a revelation for us calorie counters. I gotta have a treat of some sort for sanity's sake.

*I've dabbled in various colognes and after-shaves, but some of this from the drugstore gets more comments from the fairer sex. Those of you that have legit barbers already know:

*I wish we could resize pictures. ^^ That ruins my otherwise incredibly formatted stream of nonsense.

*I've never been a bigger Nova fan. Not gonna watch a minute of it though. Not because I'm a ***** like that, but college basketball kinda sucks (and I'm kind of a ***** like that).

*Air BnB is pretty cost prohibitive at this point. When did that shift so drastically? Also, I always assume there is a hidden camera somewhere in the residence.

*Remember when Will Smith was universally liked and completely non-controversial? What a pretentious, self-important weirdo he turned out to be. Getting cucked does something to ya, I guess.

*...that's all I got

Rando shitdohs:

- Finally got our backyard fenced in. The weather here has been near perfect most nights. I don't need NF, Internet or phone -- just need a frostie collide, start the fight between the two pups and can watch them play for hours. Don't even care that they've already destroyed half the yard. You wouldn't understand unless you're a Dog Dad.

- Part of me feels like Cal did us a favor. Used to religiously follow the Falcons until the choke. Still religiously follow the Cats but found myself missing a game or two here and there. After this year, I will no longer make watching one of his teams a priority. He's already got some of my time from my best years and I'm not longer willing to hand that over for seeing the same movie over and over with the same ****** ending. Fix it or GTFO.

- Little Vegas trip last week for work. Tried to keep up with the young bucks and maybe totaled 9 hours for 3 nights to their 8 hours of sleep. Heading to the airport at 5 am when you're not even sure if you even slept is my indication we did alright out there. Lost money, ate great food, saw/hugged/shook hands, shots. peace pipe - not sure about you but my new normal is just normal now.

- Started Top Boy on NF this past week. Takes awhile to get into it but starts to have a little The Wire vibe to it. It's definitely a subtitle show although nearly every character kisses their teeth and seeing that pop up 400 times an episode is pretty awful. Learning some good shortened slang. Wagwan took me until first episode of S2 to figure out.

- Walking to the casino I randomly handed my two sales guys $100. 10 steps later I told them our biggest customer wants 50 quotes done asap. They both appreciated the gotcha and both proceeded to lose that money within 30 mins of getting it.

- Potty pads are the devil. If your other half fights you on this, it's worth raising your Will Smith hand. If you want to train your pup to piss and **** all over your house then they're fantastic.

- On my flight out last week, already whined in the covid thread about the FA asking me to pinch the top of my mask, which I ignored. Right after that, the lady in front of my asked to get off the plane after we had already pushed back. FA had the same facial expression as me and anyone else that heard her and very politely and peacefully shut the b-word down. The FA did go talk to the Captain but came back told her they weren't going to inconvenience the rest of the people on the flight.

- One of my techs sent me a picture he took from a bedroom on a project we're on. It's some BBW fingering herself with a heart covering her Christian parts and shot from behind. And, nothing about the picture or the overall size of the picture are small.

- Back to making them P's. Be well and remember you're not spending your time on a rival's forum gloating about something you contributed zero to and have managed to turn every one on the forum against you by simply being your cvnty self.

to be fair, I haven't ordered any in years. I still have a bottle and a half left. If anyone wants some. But you CAN still buy the same thing, as the article says.
