I think it was right before OT, and the camera was on our huddle….BRAD was barking at some player. It is what it is. Cal is a loser now, and he’s ruined everything he built. He should have quit after ‘15. Instead, he sold us that DREAMS OVER WINS ******** and has tanked his legacy. It’s shameful and sad, but idgas. He’s not a likable guy. He’s not humble. He hates our fans. He’s a clown.

- Yeah tried to cancel my room at the casino. No dice. Guess I’ll just go lose a bunch of money, get schnockered and inhale smoke all F’ing day.

- Honestly I need to get away from my house, neighborhood, wife and child. Love them all but I need to leave for a day. My mental health is a mess right now.

- Once again, BBN out in front on OUR team over the analysts. We were all very skeptical after the past few weeks yet talking head after talking head kept picking us to win it all. We knew what we were seeing.

- Obviously, Wheeler was godawful and we knew he had that in him but I just can’t get over what a p**** Grady turned out to be. You know you can understand a freshman like TyTy wilting I guess, but a 25 year old?

- This all falls on Cal. I’m guessing this constant and year-long “drive the ball” mentality F’s with our shooters. I mean I am pretty perplexed by what just happened.

- You could see this Sharpe thing coming back to bite Cal from a mile away. It just makes zero sense at all. Even if he does stay (lol) why TF just sit on the bench when our guards are drowning? And if he is leaving, why the charade? Why not be in LA working out with an elite trainer living like a pro? I have never witnessed something so bizarre in my UK basketball life, and I saw Billy Clyde start Mark Coury and Tubby play Brandon Stockton over Rondo.

- I don’t think you need to be Nate Oates but there’s a big difference between a 15 footer and a 20 footer when they count for the same number of points. I’m fine with Brooks/Washington/Toppin taking the former but NO ONE should take 20 footers, let alone be encouraged to do so by their coach. But I guess Cal is smarter than math.

- I mean analytics are more mainstream than Taylor Swift these days. It’s not difficult to figure out how to play efficiently. It’s incomprehensible that Cal just ignores basic basketball fact.

- I’m with Killa. I just don’t know how you can go into next season with any sense of enthusiasm- unless Tschibwe and Sharpe return. Even so, it’s going to be hard not to be skeptical.

- By the way- 5 years and counting since we had an elite PG.

- Really evaluating what I give to my sports teams after the blown Super Bowl, the last few years of Kentucky basketball and the Reds fire sale. It’s Kentucky basketball the most. I follow it 365 days a year. I plan 5 months a year around it. It affects my mood. This passion hasn’t had a pay day in awhile.

- I’m pretty pissed. Also sad. Seems like the end of an era.

And yeah, Cal is basically unfireable...but the condescension him and his family have had for BBNs gripes the last couple years is f***ing ridiculous.

You didn't make us, we legitimized you.

You want to be the top story on Sportscenter every night? Want to be on national TV 40 times a year? Want to go on any national radio show in the offseason to hear yourself speak?

That's because of us. Your sideshow at Memphis and UMass didn't provide you ****, despite being contenders on a semi-regular basis.

Take your ******** and get pumped. You needed us more than we needed you.

It was mutually beneficial for a bit...but don't bite the hand that feeds you, motherf***er.
RACK RACK RACKITY RACK.

I used to think Cal wouldn't be able to handle the blow to his ego of a **** year at the end of his career, but I really don't think he gives a **** anymore. I fully understand burnout but this is bizarre.

What sucks is we had this incredible offense in the middle of the year - I thought Cal had a Saban like awakening - and then it completely collapsed. So how the hell am I going to enjoy any other Cal team playing well without me thinking “Well we’re effed in March so who cares”. It’s such a joy stealing loss. Just gut punch ruining the whole vibe in every way.

We wasted a college talent like Oscar. He was a breathe of fresh air from the Cal ***** brigade the last few years.

For kids not to wilt under the Cal psychological warfare we need a team of players entirely from the Congo. Go coach the Congo national team cawk sucker.

Found a way to bet 10k on a team to win it all that gets bounced by Saint Peter’s. I’m no Vegas casino expert but Caesar’s is a ********. Reminds me of Williams Bryce Stadium with slot machines and dirty ****** walking around looking for a trick. I am considering just renting a car and going to see the Grand Canyon or something.

Some of that was fool’s gold - UK making long 2s at a higher unsustainable rate.

And part was teams learned how to defend us - play off Wheeler and take Grady away.

Cal never adjusted.

I’m never a fan about boosters calling shots but can we get somebody on Line 1 to give some money to make him go away? Please.

I feel like eating ice cream and watching Disney plus with my kids all day. I’ve been completely emasculated. Cal turned me into a eunuch. This will not be forgotten Cal. This aggression will not stand. I don’t like feeling like this - I don’t even know what I’m feeling right now. Like a teenage girl who’s boyfriend texted her to break up. I hate this feeling. F*ck this

I don't think Cal will leave after an embarrassing 1st round loss...but I can kind of see it this year.

- Think he really wanted to coach Wagner, that's probably off the table with Payne at UL.

- Peevy not here to be his buffer.

- Realizing the perception has turned.

- Obviously a decent amount of burn out.

Buy us a new coach. We promise to be really, really good if you do.
I tried to sell Oscar’s people on the comeback year. Was willing to work my *** off when my time would be 1000x better spent elsewhere for my family. Was willing to put my own seven figures up to prove it. Oscar is my favorite cat of all time. I love unselfish people. He’s one of them.

Oh well, I’ll go sell some Gregg Jefferies rookie cards.

Was gonna say the same, Tommy. Got a weird feeling Cal may just say “F it” and walk. His family obviously hates the whole “Kentucky basketball” life. Which is probably understandable. But y’all signed up for this and this state made your family rich beyond your wildest dreams. Congrats on your salary, Erin! So glad you can afford your own place! I’m sure Brentwood has a Dunkin’ Donuts

The absolute best case completely irrational scenario is that Cal makes a run to the F4 next year with a solid year, rides off to something else, Vogel holds on to the Laker's job for another year and then he is introduced as HC.

Cal just isn’t a Basketball Benny.

He’s an outstanding program manager and recruiter, but below average when it comes to basketball details. Especially in-game decision making related to substitutions, adjustments and play calling. Do we even have set plays? How many 5 second calls did we have this year because we couldn’t even get the ball inbounds? Shaheen Holloway completely outcoached him with basic HS bball ****.

Going to Indy this weekend … to watch my youngest play soccer, hang with a fun group of parents, and forget about this nonsense.

Over the past few years, my interest in UK basketball has been in decline. It bounced back this year - solely because of this group of kids - but It’s gonna be hard to do this again next year. I’m just tired of the entire way Cal does things.

~ The condescension from Cal to the fanbase and reporters has been awful for the past several years. It's quaint when you're winning to not answer direct questions and basically slap the hood of the car and sell it, it's disrespectful when Rick Barnes is your daddy and you're a shaky bet come every March.

~ Every single player eligible to leave should do so. Transfer, go pro, start a safari company. Whatever it takes. We will not be good next year. Cal has no equity for that type of season. I pray he walks. I don't care who replaces him, it's "I fvcked the maid and I can't unfvck her" levels bad in this relationship now.

~ I've never been more heart broken for a player than I was watching Oscar walk off that court last night. Plenty of guys have come here and poured their heart out on the court (Hayes specifically), but the combination of Oscar's story, his passion and intelligence just hit me all at once. He didn't deserve this team/coach.

~ 1000% lock Tyty looks like Maxey/Quickley at the next level. Hard to be efficient when your offense is to drive into clogged lanes with no open shooters.

~ We're a football school now.

Why in the world would an NBA team give this man a coaching job? He is genuinely incompetent when it comes to game strategy and adjustments, which tend to matter just a little bit in that league.
The ONLY reason would be because a team would think he can get former UK guys as free agents.

LeBron still likes him and the Lakers are run by incompetent boobs who bend to his wish. Our only hope is that LeBron wants him.

Emotionally investing in sports is dumb.

I watch the NBA because I’m not emotionally invested. I just like to watch good players play the game at the highest level and I’ve never been ******* gutted by an NBA team.

But hey watch me spend 40 years living and dying by a bunch of college kids. I’m an idiot.
