SUNDAY RANDOS
- That was one of those games where I was comfortable before the first TV timeout, and not stressed. I knew we were winning. Nice to be able to do that on a road SEC game. Sitting at a table of friends drinking beer, slapping hands, and just smiling.
- I love waking up to social media shitting all over Coach K and what a psycho he really is.
"But remember how graceful he was when he came over to Cawood?"
Yeah, because he WON. No way he does that if Grant Hill screws up that throw and/or Laettner rims out.
FOH.
- I know I like Epicenter as a Derby contender, but Forbidden Kingdom's romp in the San Felipe really has my attention. That horse could have won by 10-12 lengths. Pretty damn impressive.
- Underrated moment of my school years: the day we had a test of State Capitals. When I was around 8, my mom bought me a puzzle of the United States. I bet I put that thing together a million times. I knew exactly where each state was located, the dimensions, and their capitals before I was 9.
I remember once we all were handed the test, I had that thing filled out in less than 3 minutes.
The history teacher was like, "WTF" when I handed it to him, and fellow classmates just giving me the same look.
I sat there in my chair looking like Secretariat in the 1973 Belmont Stakes waiting for the others to finish.
- It really pains me that one on my favorite movies is called, "Hoosiers." Eat ****, Indiana.
- Sufjan Stevens. Man, what a talent. His "Illi-NOISE" album is one of my favorites, but the "Carrie and Lowell" one is down right touching and raw. Genius.
- Is it more common to say "biscuits and gravy" or "gravy biscuits"? I have a friend that says, "gravy biscuits" and he swears that's the correct term. I'm not going to budge.
- I miss the smell of pulling a Sears/Montgomery Ward catalog out of the mailbox and opening it for the first time. I'd buy a bottle of that smell.
- Bic Comfort 3 razors are perfectly fine with dad.
- Screw it, Sunday Funday group text just went out. Betting horses, eating bar pizza, and watching NCAA conference tournament games all day with ice cold brews with friends?
Deal. That scenario is going off at 1/9 right now.
- Gang, it's going to be a fun next four weeks watching these Cats.
