I don't see much chance UK sneaks into a 1 seed, but proof Lunardi just makes **** up as he goes. Drops Kansas off the 1-seed line and behind UK after their loss to TCU. But if Auburn loses tonight, claims Kansas will jump UK back into a 1 seed.

Yep, OK then...

At this point, I could see us anywhere from 3 to 7 on the overall seed list. Committee is inconsistent in how they apply conf championships. I think we will be no worse than strongest #2 seed (5 overall) if we beat FL and win one in conf tourney.

I had a bow tie phase in 5th grade. There's not a day goes by I don't feel regret. Not because I feel like an idiot, or because you think I should. I look back on the way I was then then, a young, stupid kid who committed that terrible fashion crime. I want to talk to him. I want to try and talk some sense to him, tell him the way things are. But I can't. That kid's long gone and this middle-aged man is all that's left. I got to live with that.

I don’t understand the pessimistic for the 1-seed. Will be surprised if we don’t get it if we win out.
No pessimism from me. Just trying to look at the options objectively.

It seems like Gonzaga and Arizona are locks for a 1-seed. That leaves Auburn, Baylor, Kansas, Duke and Kentucky for the reamining 1-seeds.
  1. Auburn: If Auburn wins its last 2 regular season games, I think they're a lock for a 1-seed absent a really bad loss in the QF of the SEC-T. If they lose in the SF to either Tenn or Arky, I doubt that moves them off the 1-seed line.
  2. Baylor: Much the same as above. If they win at home vs. Iowa State, I think they're a 1-seed unless they lose in the QF of the B12-T. 12 Q1 wins is huge for their resume.
  3. Kansas: I think they're behind us for a potential 1-seed, but having 9 Q1 wins is also a big resume booster. I also think they have the best remaining resume-building game of viable 1-seed teams with Texas on Saturday.
  4. Duke: They don't have a resume for a 1-seed, with 2 Q2 and 1 Q3 losses and not playing a ranked team since November.
Where does that leave Kentucky? With a win Saturday @ Florida, that locks us into a 3 seed (I think Tenn and Arky have a tie-breaker advantage over us). That means we would not see Auburn until the SEC-T CG on Sunday...and we all know that result is meaningless for seeding. I just don't see a SF win over Tennessee or Arkansas as being enough to jump into the 1-seed if other teams hold serve.

I think if a 1 seed came down to us and Auburn playing in the SEC championship they would have a bracket for both scenarios.

For a 1 seed I think they would. Similar to if a bid stealer made the SEC Championship.

Worth it?

Schabusiness allegedly told officers that she and the victim had smoked meth while spending the previous day together, and that after arriving at the mother's home, they engaged in sex that incorporated chains, during which Schabusiness allegedly said she blacked out at times but just went "crazy" and started to strangle the victim.

Check out that neck though... women like that produce Big Ten linebackers.

I like a woman with a strong neck, Waterhead.
My football coach used to tell some of the young, skinny guys going out for the football team that they "have a neck like a stack of dimes". I always thought that was an underrated burn from a football perspective. No one has ever accused Schabusiness of having a neck like that, that's for sure.
