Completely disagree with your Wheeler take. He has off days but he always puts pressure on the opponent on both ends. And occasionally he’s brilliant.
Just don’t think we weather the storm today if he is running the show.

Makes me wonder what the team is without him, or having him off the bench.

I like the kid, at times like you said, even love watching him work at times. He just seems to be in his gear all the time whether the team is or not and it creates what feels like unnecessary mistakes.

The other thing today showed me is that with Wheeler/TyTy dominating the ball Grady is not his best. He actually excels with the ball in his hand more naturally creating his own opportunity.

Either way, not many teams losing their starting backcourt and beating Bama this year, but we did!

Always get a chuckle how Chad hammers Gonzaga & puts them up top in the same breath over and over.

Gonzaga, Duke, Purdue…our 3 worst matchups on paper.

I don’t hammer them. I just don’t need to hear how awesome it is that Chet scored 17 against Pacific. They haven’t played anyone in a month.

What I’m saying is - the media should STFU about them until the tournament starts. They should be treated as Cal’s Memphis teams - an out-of-sight contender we ignore for two months.

Agree on Gonzaga and Duke. I think our guards would eat Purdue alive. Just carve them up. I get where you’re coming from though. I’d replace them with Illinois. Would also add UCLA and a healthy Baylor.

Welp already pre-mad at these ******** charges that Arkansas is going to get against us in a week and a half. Even against UT they are ********.

Jim Nantz’s bum *** needs to be put out to pasture and Eagle given the Final Four imo.
Harlan is right up there as well. Probably better play-by-play on the radio and that's not taking away from his tv skills.

Perfect old-school dulcet tones that sounds like he was out until 4 a.m. hammering Johnny Walker Blue and a fine cohiba, yet doesn't miss a beat painting an audio masterpiece.

Brooks doesn’t get labeled as an elite athlete bc he plays a weird & uncomfortable slow motion styled game.

But if you’re taking leap - the guy is a FREAK.

He just randomly explodes out of nowhere, and doesn’t need any ‘head start’.

Even though I know he has it, it still catches me off guard every time.

Not a great look for Cal, but not a reason at all for Pat Adams to be anywhere near that close.

SEC refs think they poop ice cream....
