Went fishing yesterday in 15 mph wind with gusts to 30. Let’s just say I caught a lot of reeds and tree limbs to go along with my buzz. Forgot my hat and looked like I’d been jerked backwards through a knot hole. Startled the poor convenient store employee since I was all muddy and hair like I’d stuck my finger in a light socket. Thank goodness I was wearing a mask so they won’t remember me.
4-5 weeks before morel season. Literally can’t wait.

After my mom died, my dad got a waterbed and a red Camaro. So, you know, he got over it.
My wife and in-laws leave out “with” when they talk about being finished or done with something. “I’m done my dinner.” “Are you done your homework?”
I now catch it every time I hear it to try and correct it before it screws up our kids’ language skills. Luckily, at this point, my kids catch it themselves. It got to the point that I diagrammed a sentence on a note card to explain it to everyone via FaceTime.

I’d take my old waveless waterbed right now over this thing my wife picked out. It’s supposed to mold to your “contour”. Well I’m fat and I sink in the MFer like a regular waterbed and can’t get up, plus it’s about 4 foot off the floor too.

Had the Action Jackson action figure (uh, doll) when I was a kid. Loved it. But, it was held together by elastic bands and one day that dude just fell apart.
