TyTy looks like he hates being alive. Weird night all around. Easy money if you’re into gambling but weird night overall.

Just stay healthy and get to a neutral site.

Shooting splits from the game tonight:

Rim - 11/26
2PJ - 7/25
3PJ - 5/16

We were horrendous at 2 point jumpers again tonight. In the previous 4 games, we are 27/94, 29%, from the range and it's a plurality of our shots. Our reliance on such a low value shot hinders our offensive production.

And it’s never going to change no matter what he says.

Denny Crum never adjusted to the three point shot and that’s why he didn’t win **** after 86. Calipari refuses to fully embrace the 3 point shot and modern basketball.

It is what it is at this point. He’s either going to breakthrough again doing it “his way” or we’re never winning **** again with him at the helm.

Not the same team without TyTy. And he wasn’t right all night. Typically a huge redass, but think neutral court, called fair, we can beat anybody.
Completely agree. And I wouldn’t hesitate to pick us as the favorites to win it all, except for the fact that Wheeler and Washington are seemingly constructed out of balsa wood.

UT played outstanding defense and crashed the defensive boards as a team. It was often Oscar and 3-4 Orange jerseys going for the board. Wheeler was forced to start deep toward the midline and tried to Curly Neal his way around. Our cutters were being held, but UT was also hustling to face guard just about everyone. Grady’s best shots came after a travel and being out of bounds. Their speed frustrated us and we took a lot of contested mid-range shots, missing a bunch. Oscar also missed a few near the rim. The difference in the game was UT’s defense.

I’d love to just brush this one off. Nothing wrong with a conference road L in February but we were blown out. Wasn’t even a game. Worse, my biggest March fears all manifested:

- Perpetual injury BS
- Tschibwe foul trouble and neutralization
- Wheeler hero ball and dumbass turnovers
- Grady/Mintz inexplicably being ice cold from 3
- Brooks a no-show

As usual, when everyone else is ****, Toppin was great.

Very concerning. Thank God we come home for the next two although Bama without TyTy will be a chore.

And yeah as annoying as it is, if we lose in March - especially a game like this when our guards are **** - and Sharpe goes to the draft, all the good will from this team for Cal will go down the drain in a hurry.
