Anyone know how to get in touch with Chris Mack? Probably need a new homeowners insurance policy soon and want to be one of his first clients.

F Eric Wood is right.

You Louisvillians who went to Catholic HSs can be a little weird, but it doesn't hold a candle to the cult that Cincinnati Elder alums, like Wood, automatically belong to.

My bestie neighbor is a full blown Elder idiot and every time he starts waxing poetic about the Panthers and their sports exploits, I just say, "F*** Eric Wood." He used to get mad, but now he just laughs.

Side fact, that same neighbor's wife's HS basketball coach was none other than Chris Mack.

West Side, man. You either get out or you become a cop or an *******. (or both)

In conclusion, I hate Elder & I hate Eric Wood but I love my neighbor and his wife.

Have been rewatching movies I loved as a kid…good lord most have been awful.

Most recently Short circuit with Steve Guttenberg and Ally Sheedy…complete with signature track from El debarge.

Jesus.
Wargames was on early HBO everyday in the 80s. Ally Sheedy🙏🏻. However, she possibly had the worst line in cinematic history… not her fault, she just read the ****.

… when Broderick is culling through the microfiche and stumbled on old crusty scientist…

sheedy: “He’s amazing looking!”

no, he looks like a washed-up drug addict.

-Outkast hanging it up is the biggest tradgedy in Hip-Hop since BIG/Pac. Even their B stuff would be levels above 99% of what we have gotten since.

- 🙄 @ Neil Young, I'm assuming he hasn't listed to a second of the podcasts. He probably thinks it's just a mini Trump on there spewing right wing nonsense. Which is the furthest thing from the truth. Fun fact, Rogan firmly believes in universal health care, crazy conservative. Look, I like about 25% of the podcasts he puts out, I'm not listening to MMA, entertainers, or the wild conspiracy folks, but the guys like Rinella, Pinker, etc are phenomenal entertainment. I also enjoy his fitness and personal health episodes. The knee guy this week was great. The gay Worlds Strongest Man competitor the same. I honestly can't figure out why people hate him so much, he's a really mediocre comedian(that's being friendly), but he conducts a helluva interview. The stuff he says isn't much different than Bill Maher. If you made your mind up without even listening to the content, you're the problem. Congrats on your stand though, I'm sure people are fleeing Spotify en masse.

-F Eric Wood. I'm fine with that. Encourage it even.

-UL getting Payne/Peevy would be a nice little jab. They hated Tyra b/c he was UK guy. Knowing that Peevy is always coming home to Lex would be awesome.

-How did I miss a whole season of Revisionist History? Pleasant surprise. Big fan of Gladwell, going to try one of his audio books, even though I'm old man style against audible. I fall into the rare, tried digital books, and went back to hardback.

-New Aziz Ansari special on Netflix. Only 30 minutes. It's ok, but that dude just isn't the same after that dumbass hit piece about him buying a date drinks and trying to wax. Which is a great reason to wreck a guy.

-I love WildCatChad's Kansas hate. He used to stalk jayhawkslant or phog and destroy those idiots. He knows the real threats.

-Worshipped Short Circuit. I refuse to believe it's anything but awesome. Same with Ski School.

Rogan has a bigger audience than just about any single source in America right now. He averages 11 million a PC. That is absolutely insane how successful he made that show. This isn't rocket science. The AG said yesterday he thinks it's big tech's responsibility to step in (implying deplatform him). Why? Because no one in DC can come even close to replicating the success and reach Rogan currently has in America. In short, he terrifies them because they can't copy it and as we're seeing play out now, they can't even control it.

No hyperbole, he has enough influence to sway a presidential election. If you're a D or R and think he's working against you, that's a huge threat to your chances.

feel like Ally Sheedy is sort of a less attractive hybrid of Jami Gertz and Liz Shue.

Highlight of Short Circuit and Police Academies is GW Bailey…one of the best heels ever.

CNN doesn’t agree with your take that Joe Rogan isn’t as bad as Hitler. Two articles up on CNN.com right now:

1) Michael Dyson on Joe Rogan and Guest: Damn sure proved their whiteness
2) Scientists stunned by climate denialism from Joe Rogan podcast guest

Rogan's fighting/MMA knowledge is pretty amazing, and he's really good at that realm of topics. If he has a comedian I like (Kreischer, Burr, etc.), I'll listen to that segment, sometimes. But when he strays away from fitness/fighting and comedy (even though he's an awful comic), I'm 100% out. He knows he doesn't know what he's talking about, which I appreciate; but the problem is he brings on people who aren't savvy enough to realize they also don't know as much as they think they do, and Rogan doesn't know enough to really push back when they go off the rails. A majority of those folks are also not nearly as interesting as they believe they are. When they go into the Aaron Rodgers-style navel-gazing discussions, it sets my teeth on edge. It's not my jam but I can certainly understand why a lot of people enjoy him.

Semi-related, I wish Spotify would let me hide all podcasts because I NEVER use it for podcasts and their recommendations are 100% wack. Stop pumping topics I do not care about when I'm just trying to keep up with new releases of music I like. /getoffmylawn

/R/Antiwork was the fastest growing subreddit in the history of Reddit. So Fox News reached out to the moderator who created the sub to interview them. Turns out it was a 30 year old, transgender, autistic, dog walker, who thinks working 20 hours a week is too much.

The sub shut down the next day.

-I also skip plenty of Rogan’s podcasts. Enjoy mostly the same ones @anthonys735 mentioned and the ones with his comedian buddies.

People are terrified of his influence because they can’t silence him or control him, especially now that he has plenty of F**K You Money and his content is owned by a Finnish company that doesn’t give one **** about American Wokism or whatever we’re supposed to call it. Nice breath of fresh air versus the typical news outlets.

-No idea who Eric Wood is.

-Rage Radio on at the gym and System if the Down came on and holy touch that is awful. How can anyone listen to that? It’s seriously horrid.

I'll be honest, and probably shows my age, but I have no idea what this means.

- Kansas is a solid #5 in my hate rankings. My big issue with their fanbase is they’re a Top 3-4 program of all-time with the mentality of some little brother ***** program. On the court, they’re always inflated because of the Big 12 and the ridiculous officiating benefits of playing at the Phog. Actually have some family in Lawrence now- wife’s aunt lives there. May head out some game.

- Much like the Dave Matthews Band, quite a bit of the Rogan hate can be traced to a loathing for his fanbase.

What I love about our rivalry with Kansas, that will NEVER CHANGE… is the simple fact they will always be ***** KU, even though they are the University of Kansas.

The Neil Young/ Joe Rogan thing is hilarious to me.

I've never listened to Rogan's podcast, mainly because I don't do podcasts. Ironically, I really like Young's music. I just find it funny that Neil tried to get Joe canceled, and ended up getting himself canceled. Now, Neil is likely facing lawsuits from the owners of the rights to his music.

All this from a guy who spent his career questioning authority and championing free speech. That level of hypocrisy is amazing to me.

Also, fuq Eric Wood

I have a lot to say on how government and their allies collude to take down their opponents. The strategy to deplatfrom Rogan is a multi-front attack. They will try everything in their power to dehumanize him, to gaslight his viewers, to undermine everything he stands for in order to get you to join their mob.

And if you put Rogan vs CNN on who lies more, who doubles down on the lie more and who is much more friendly with big tech and big government, I think you'll see those throwing the stones are doing what they're accusing others of doing but they have more tools and resources to win the fight. If you don't like the Rogan viewer, you fell for part of the strategy because that is irrelevant to what is actually happening.

What part of the fan base is loathed? The bros? The gym rats? The MMA guys? Or just what people “think” his audience is?

According to our survey respondent demos, Joe’s listenership is 71% male and evenly split between high school and post-secondary graduates. Fifty seven percent of his audience reports earning over $50k per year, with 19% making over $100k. The average age of his listeners was 24. The most likely additional podcast responses from his listeners were “Serial,” “The Daily,” “This American Life,” and “This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von.” Joe Rogan’s listeners varied only slightly from the survey average on number of podcasts listened to and exclusivity, but he received nearly 3x the number of responses compared to the next most-responded podcasts, “Phil in the Blanks” and “Crime Junkie.”

The people who hold such disdain for Rogan only do so because their news outlet told them to.

i wouldn’t classify a doctor who helped invent mRNA technology someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

what’s funny to me is it isn’t the interviews with people like carrot top that get people going it’s the ones with doctors and people who DO know what they’re talking about

if you look down on Rogan podcast but get your news from Rachel maddow, Tucker Carlson, or Anderson Vanderbilt then you should take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself why and how you let yourself fall for such propaganda

Not sure if you've been following along, but the progressive libs hate straight white men which are pretty much his core following.

I like how Blackhaus still gets blamed for the legendary Vandy debacle because everyone blacked out and forgot about Huber's jars of moonshine.

Blackhaus is freaking blackberry schnapps. Huber had rocket fuel in a mason jar. I had plenty of both and I managed to only catch myself on fire 2 or 3 times on those portable heaters.

Some of you need to know your limits. You'll never catch me getting so drunk that I pass out or play drums with a spatula or puke behind a Wendy's the next day on the way home from a game. Grow up.

I'd do it all again right now.

Who was it who stayed in the parking lot at the tailgate during a game, got stupid drunk and threw a beer bottle at the TV, smashing it?

I remember coming back and someone was smashed and upset about what they did to Anth's TV.

Those weren't the days of $200 flat screen either.
