I'm not sure what Oscar is shooting on that 16-18' jumper, but it seems to be pretty damn good. Not to mention, it's the first year he's really shooting it. Plus 90% of the time it hits the rim, it softly bounces in....he's got touch.

...NBA bigs become reliable shooters all the time, over time.

The comparisons listed are awful, but I wouldn't bet against him finding a role or spot somewhere eventually. His hands are the most underrated thing about him -- it's just incredible.

Breyer retiring. Another chance to see the President and the Senate engage in reasoned, civil debate.
100% this goes fairly smoothly. No reason for democrats and their media to turn this into a circus like they would otherwise.

They will however be pushing the "every Pub is racist that doesn't confirm our black female judge" angle...which will be entertaining.

The comp is Andre Drummond. That guy is still making money.

Ehhh.

Actual comp might be his fellow countryman Bismack Biyombo. However, Oscar is more refined offensively & looks to have a better motor. His faceup game and touch as BBdK touched on, has been a revelation. Bismack was younger & clearly over-hyped coming out, but he's made a nice career as a journeyman.

NBA Draft.net's comp is Trevor Booker, lol.

Payne would recruit well- including Wagner, I’d assume. You never know with assistants but he could be good. Of course, in true Little Brother fashion, it would be a move to annoy UK.

*my NBA knowledge is limited to late 80's-early 90's pistons squads. Although I think my quickley/dumars comp was *spot* on.

If you have an elite skill the NBA will usually be able to find a place for you. The most valuable elite skill is shooting and/or scoring but there are tons of specialists that find their niche on teams.

The biggest concern with Oscar is not about whether he can shoot or even score, no team is drafting him for either, it's whether he can defend the pick and roll. As a big, if you can't defend the pick and roll teams basically stop their offense and spend every possession hunting you down for a mismatch until you are forced off the floor.

He clearly has lateral quickness and enough vertical ability to be an elite rebounder and his hands are maybe the best I have seen at UK, I think his poor ball skills on the pick and roll are related to the learning curve he is on. Max pointed out that he is older but in basketball knowledge/skill he is still pretty raw.

I think he could be a serviceable backup big in the league.

-Gym music rotation has delved heavily into Rage lately and as much as I love them listening to their music and the actual lyrics I’m kind of like oh ****, I don’t agree with a BUNCH of the stuff they’re saying. de La Rocha apparently hates white people which I am one of them. Still gets the job done.

-I have nothing against cyclists, except when they ride side by side and act like everyone should respect them and drive the same speed, but when they’re riding down a highway on the shoulder that’s about 3foot wide or less you’re just asking for an eventual horrible accident, just dumb.

These folks do it down here in the 7 Mile Bridge. Yes they ride 7 miles on one bridge facing away from traffic with a 2foot wiggle room between them and cars going 60mph with nowhere to go but over a 80 foot drop into the ocean. Just over there trusting no one is playing on their phone and being distracted for literally one second with their lives…🤦🏼‍♂️

Is there no better way to exercise or you all just crossing it off your bucket list and so you can post it an Face(Geriatric)Book?

Down obscure, beautiful, country roads I totally get the appeal.

-Mile 0 Fest this week which is always fun and brings in all of Texas with country and alternative country music. Friend snagged me a sponsor pass so I can come and go which is awesome. Probably going to see Shane Smith & the something’s tonight. Ryan Bingham tomorrow for sure.

-Love how so many trip over themselves trying to come up with the “best” comparison, who gives a **** who you think he’s like, no one cares.

-New bidet is hooked up and this one I connected to the hot water as well so I can control the temp at which I clean my whistle. 💁🏽‍♂️
