Last year? That teams best player is currently the 6/7th man, Clarke played like 7 games, and his starting point guard is club trillion on the Texas bench.

All our guards (maybe except Grady) can finish thru contact… a wrinkle of toughness that previous rosters lacked severely.

It was the worst team. Jackson had spurts and potential. Boston was garbage and folded under the lights, as to be expected. Askew had no business at PG. Clarke didn't play. Which is why the veteran guard from a solid mid-major ended up being our best player.
My point remains, I don't ever want to go back to entirely relying on freshman.

If you go through basketball reference and look at our rosters from year to year, during the last 50 years, three teams stand out:

2) The Unforgettables season - only one future NBA player (Mashburn)
3) Hall’s first season - only one future NBA player (Grevey)
Other than that we’ve always had at least two future NBA players on our team.

As a former skate guard circa 98-99, this concerns me.
The whole BS by the committee about not being able to take Selection Sunday games into account is pure laziness.
