The second best defensive team in the country shot over 50% from the field and made double digit 3’s. They lost by almost 30.

Looking back through the game and I'm glad to see Cal get a ton of good minutes for Ware. He's going to have to become a better rebounder but his defensive effort made a difference. Have to have someone help fill in for Oscar when he gets those phantom calls.

I love this team.
Won by 28 against the #2 defensive team in the country...and it wasn't like we just jacked up threes and got hot. We "only" shot 18.
Our best player was well under his PPG and RPG.
We straight carved them the f*** up.

There are few teams I viscerally HATE more than the University of Tennessee. I get tremendous joy from their suffering. We almost had Carr and Hickman instead of Wheeler and Tyty. That would have been a disaster.
This team just fits together soooo GD well.
And we still have the #1 recruit in the country on the bench, as well as the top three point shooter percentage wise in the country out for for the season.
As someone living on the Tennessee line, this did my soul some good.

I think the Cats were likely going to beat Tennessee pretty good today nonetheless but I believe the energy from BBN within the Rupp crowd on the news of Coach Hall brought about the historic slaughter.

I get what you are saying in principle, but if you are walking your dog you have no control over when and where they decide to go.

* At no point during the game did anyone even consider the fact that UT would keep it close or do anything beside take the ***-whipping they got. Sometimes you just know.
* Didn't see Antigua on the bench. Was that addressed on the broadcast?
Collins looked gimpy. In the first half a trainer passed him what looked like a massager on the downlow and he looked like he might be dealing with cramps or something. In person, that guy has chicken legs.
* A UT fan was raving about Wheeler in line for the bathroom and he was right. I actually like UT basketball fans. They are generally knowledgable and really love basketball.
* UT's squad is Eurotrash.
* I may or may not have made the Hunk Cam. They showed my wife and the fat guy in front of me, who immediately stood up and starting dancing. Good for him and his moves.
* The Rupp experience is vastly improved. Everything is dialed in. No lulls, 5G, parachuting tshirts -- the works.
* Brooks' statline wasn't great but that was far and away the best game I've seen from him. He played within himself, passed, and did some dirty work. He even hit an open three to keep his scouting report semi-honest. I'll take that from him every day.
* Wheeler, Washington, and Grady are something else, man. They are so cerebral and skilled -- watching them on offense is like watching a team of Mayo surgeons conduct an autopsy.
