Shorts:

- Give me “Tattoos” as Childers #1 but “Charleston Girl” is right there.

- Been noticing on TV that babes are bringing back the Docs with dresses look from the 90s. I dig it.

- On a decent little bourbon run - best Eagle Rare pick I’ve ever had; Hirsch which is 7 year 9 month Willet juice; OWA pick; terrific Russells pick; Sazerac pick; and an Old Fo BS pick.

- Why are so many Roast comics one-trick ponies unable to find bigtime success elsewhere?

- Have always been surprised that Mitch’s sister in “Dazed & Confused” didn’t make it big. Pure smoke.

- He’s awful but I’m sorry, I’ve enjoyed every single Woody Allen movie I’ve ever watched.

- Landed plane aisle standers are the worst. There’s nothing easier or more easily understood than plane departure etiquette.

- How has Marvin Lewis not been hired again?

- Always feel bad when some 20-years-ago B-list celebrity gets arrested for a DUI or some BS and news outlets plaster it all over social media. Leave these poor has-beens alone.

- Was thinking about how excited my dad used to get about ANY 7-footer back in the late 80s/early 90s. He thought all of them were going to be Olajuwon. Dude was hyping Mike Scott every day. Wanted Cherokee Park more than any other recruit ever.

- So, am I correct in saying the biggest question marks for Big Blue football next year are at WR and DB?

- As mentioned, this team is fun to watch IN JANUARY. That’s rare here. We’ll drop a few but text group is seeing less redass from wcc. Love having veterans. Love having perimeter firepower. Love having a dude averaging 17&15. My gawd.

- Big weekend for wcc. Big F’ing weekend. Who Dey and GBB, baby.

To me, the ballistics do not add up at all. Magic bullet that zigzagged through both Kennedy and the Governor, shattering his wrist yet ends up found on a gurney in the hospital undeformed?

The docs doing the autopsy forced to recount statements on entrance and exit wounds.

The Zapruder film, wound on Kennedy's head just don’t jive to me. Three shots with a bolt action rifle through heavy foliage at a moving target…

Seems sketchy.
Your info seems sketchy. I thought a staunch conservative like yourself would know better than to trust a Hollywooder like Oliver Stone. But for ***** and giggles, let's dive in.

First, let's debunk a few of Stone's ******** claims. In the movie, he claims Oswald is an average shot at best. That simply isn't true. On more than one occasion, Oswald graded out as a marksman by Marine standards. He was more than capable of firing off three shots in the allotted time and hitting his target.

Next, Stone would have you believe that the photo of Oswald with the gun was altered and that the shadows didn't match up. This is false on all levels. Oswald's wife said that she took the picture herself. Furthermore, Oswald gave a copy of the photo to one of his friends and signed the back of it. Numerous handwriting specialists concluded it was Oswald's signature. Numerous experts also concluded unequivocally that the shadows in the photo did match up correctly.

I would go into the "magic bullet theory" but legalbeagle already covered it. I will say though that there are numerous videos on YouTube of animated recreations of the event that would no doubt be used in court had the incident occurred in modern times. They all show the same thing, that the 3 shots all came from the same corner window of the book depository building. The Zapruder film confirms this. The first shot fired missed. You can see Governor Connally look around to see where the noise came from. The second shot hits both JFK and Connally, as both men react simultaneously. JFK's arms go up and Connally clearly looks distressed. Just as beagle stated, Connaly's seat sat lower than the President's which caused to bullet to enter and exit both men in a peculiar fashion. The third shot was the one to JFK's head. All 3 shots came from the same spot. There was no other evidence of any other bullets or gunfire from another spot, not even the infamous grassy knoll.

Now take a closer look at Oswald. Seven months prior to the JFK assasination, a shot was fired through the living room window of ultra conservative former Army general Edwin Walker. At the time, it was unknown who fired the shot. After Oswald's capture, it was confirmed that the shot was fired with the same rifle that was used to kill the President.

When news of the assassination spread, Oswald's own brother said he knew immediately that it was Lee who killed the president. The reason? Oswald was a nobody who wanted to be somebody. He wanted to be remembered for something significant. He wanted to go down in history. But his life wasn't panning out in that manner. Down and out with no job and a struggling marriage, Oswald grew more desperate and more crazy. His wife's friend mentioned that her brother had gotten a job at the book depository building and that they still needed help.

That's when the stars began to align. The week of the President's visit, his motorcade route was printed in the newspaper. Oswald could see that it would pass right in front of his place of work. The President also had the option of having plexiglas covering the car in case of such scenarios. JFK declined, thinking it would be bad optics to the people of Dallas. Oswald's big chance was before him and the President was in clear sight. Oswald capitalized on the opportunity.

As for Jack Ruby, he was known for his quick temper. He was also very friendly with the Dallas Police being the owner of a strip club many of them frequented. He was seen in many photos just after the assassination hanging around the police station. After he shot Oswald, he boasted to friends about having the balls to kill Oswald, something many in the country wanted to do at that time.

I could add much more but that seems like enough for the moment.

Oswald was the lone shooter. The bullet placed on the gurney was a plant and not real. There was a conspiracy to set Oswald up but it was limited and came from the Ruskies who did not believe Oswald would actually go through with it. Jack Ruby shot Oswald and the CIA had Jolly West brainwash him to the point of insanity before he could testify (possibly to prevent US public awareness of the Soviet connections of Oswald and avoid nuclear war).

There you go.

They didn't go completely under. They are in Brannon Crossing. And getting it over grits instead of rice or pasta is a good upgrade.
I usually go over jamb, but may give that a shot.

Vern, that was nice opinion piece. Like I said, I’m coming off the Rogan podcast, and two Oliver stone movies/docs. Like to hear other perspectives.

So what about Stone’s assertion that Oswald was CIA? I mean, it’s kinda curious that he defects to Russia and is welcome back here without an investigation? Kind of like the Jan 6 provacateur being on the most wanted list and then magically disappears.

They made a big deal about Oswald playing both sides of the Cuban propaganda and the office in New Orleans. Several eyewitnesses saying they saw smoke and heard shots from the grassy knoll. Two eyewitnesses saying they saw Jack Ruby there too.

How the hell did Dulles end up on the Warren commission? I mean, that guy was fired by Kennedy and certainly had motive…Like I said, really just digging into this for the first time. It’s fascinating. Appreciate all the opinions.

I’m an expert marksman graded by the US military. Seems like this could be a fun gyero challenge! Who wants to drive the car while we shoot at it?!?!

First off Boat, pick your conspiracy and we'll go from there. Also, nothing I stated is opinion. All are verifiable facts.

My daughter has COVID now. I have a kids N95 I put on the linen closet door handle outside her door. I put it on when I need to go drop food off to her in her room. I'll let you know in a few days if it works.

Respirators work when fitted to your face and you're clean shaven. They need to be replaced every few hours and disposed or sanitized. If not they can be potentially worse than a cloth mask. They're not intended for widespread use.

Went to the Blue Jackets-Blackhawks game with my dad last night. He woke up today sick as hell, tested positive. Calls me in a frantic. Told him I didn't care. He gave me the "Are you sure you should go to Cincy Saturday" like this is going to stop me.

Considering it is an airborne contagion. I would assume you have the standard American home with hvac and circulating air throughout the house. Yea?

So it's safe to assume the virus particles are well, everywhere.

Can't hide from this. Never could.

Unless you live on your own island away from mankind.

I'm pretty sure in retrospect I had it the day before I flew to Florida for the bowl game.

He did so on a scooter.
If the kid had just tipped he’d of never gotten caught. $3 and they wouldn’t have even remembered him. That’s what you get losers.

On more than one occasion, Oswald graded out as a marksman by Marine standards. He was more than capable of firing off three shots in the allotted time and hitting his target.

As long as you realize “Marksman” doesn’t mean a whole lot. If most marines are average “people” at least 65% normally get the “marksman” award, that’s 15% over average of “average” recruit. There’s probably 50% of them have never shot a gun and 6 months later 💥 we’ve got a real life shooting “expert”. If you think 65% of marines can make that shot you’re out of your mind. That would mean you think almost 120,000 marines could have made the JFK shot.

It was like when my former Iraq marine buddy got married and it was myself and 5 marines at his FIL’s (Kent Taylor) shooting range in lagrange. We had a competition and I smoked them all (in rifle and shotgun, they crushed me with handguns).

Weird how a kid growing up shooting guns with no training lit up battle-hardened and trained marines. They were all “marksmen” as well.

Just saying let’s not turn Oswald into Chris Touching Kyle, mmmkay?

-Hope Tommy is nice to me today and he hasn’t been canceled by FB and the guy that pledged “Gustafarno” would never be in politics again after he was done with him or something…

I met Tyler a couple of times a few years ago when he was working in a local wood shop. Seemed nice, didn't say much.
🤣 at 80 knowing the owner of Tyler Childers. I still crack up about him recognizing King Llama (or was it the other way around?) solely based off his Qdoba order.

* Rosenthal to the draft. I guess LSU guys use us as the new one and done for the NFL. Never hurts UK to put players in the league, I guess, but I wish he would have stuck around. He's the kind of guy who could have played himself into the first round. With NIL, staying another year could have made financial sense for him.

* Per Henbook, there are 21 million penguins in Antartica and 7 million Irish people. I'd say the average Irish person could easily kill 3 penguins. Those people eat haggis, walk around in skirts and socks, and give whiskey to babies. A flightless bird is no threat for a mick.

* I wish I could buy a Big Oscar tshirt. He is going to be one of the most beloved Cayts under Calipari. If the NIL gets sorted out, there is an outside chance he might stick around another year since he isn't projected as a first rounder (which is unbelievable).
