Perfect evening for me as far as Kentucky basketball....

Except. Frigging Dane Bradshaw.

Personal knowledge of that *******.

He needs to be working on his other job at Jasper Highlands.

- Freaking Oscar. One of the more consistent Cats I’ve ever watched. Even when he’s bad, he’s good. I knew he’s be a good ballplayer here but his polish has been a pleasant surprise and his boarding is extraordinary- maybe the best college rebounder I’ve watched. Best here for sure.

- Asked the text thread at half if TyTy was as good as you’d thought he’d be. Just a discussion piece. For me, yeah, but he’s below that second tier (Randle, Monk, Fox, etc). He can reach it, though.

- So nice seeing Mintz start to get his groove back. Knew he would.

- I understand the Brooks hate but he’s ever so slightly underrated by the fanbase.

- Cal does Hopkins NO favors always playing him as a 3.

- As mentioned many times- despite some soft spots, this is a fun team to watch. For ceiling, I’d put us somewhere between 2016/2019 range - certainly in the conversation for a Final 4, but a long way to go. Sharpe could push us a level.

I like my team.

Plus and a big plus, we have Sharpe.

I worry about taking from Mintz but Mintz is invaluable

Sharpe is going to play.

25 minutes against Kansas.

Yep

Hard to judge Toppin and Brooks when they play together...been team Toppin since day one...but Cal being able to ride out whichever is playing better is such a luxury.

Mintz being out of his slump is huge going forward. What teams have their leading scorer and assist man from the previous season coming off the bench?

I really, really like this team. I also really like the way Cal is coaching them.

I love Brooks because he is a good teammate and representative.

However, next time he has an open 3 only to step in 2 feet and proceed to brick a long 2?

I better see Cal doing a GTFO while Keion heads to the bench.

I like how Cal is coaching them except for one big thing-

Besides desperation, we should NEVER have 3 forwards on the floor at the same time. Happens less this year, but still too often. We’re affected immediately on both ends when he inexplicably does this.

Agree...for the most part though, when Wheeler has been healthy, Cal's been pretty good about it in big/conference games.

Tonight he saw how it worked with three forwards in...didn't work, and got up big with the guard heavy lineup. Then mixed it up a bit again after the game wasnt in doubt to either satisfy or see what certain lineups do.

Overall, he gets it.

Some of you jackoffs have the shortest memory ever. We beat an absolute trash Georgia team. They lost to Gardner-Webb and ETSU within the last 40 days. Beating UGA by 20 after losing to LSU isn’t the mark of a potential final four team. Get with reality.

Its like if your girlfriend got gang banged on a girl’s trip to Cancun a couple weeks ago, but you think she’s turned the corner and is now wife material because she went on an Alaskan Cruise with her parents and her only indiscretion was making out with one of the deckhands.

Teams improve, even **** teams like Georgia. They played as well as they could and lost by 15. Good win but I haven't seen anyone overreact.

Kansas beat North Texas by 12, Stephen F. Austin by eight, George Mason by nine, and lost to Dayton.

Purdue beat Nicholls by 14, Penn State by nine, and lost to Rutgers.

Duke beat Campbell by 11.

Gonzaga beat Tarleton State by nine.

Baylor beat VCU by eight.

The only one overreacting here is Wayne.

You can throw Coleman-Lands in there too. He started playing college basketball the same year as Jamal Murray.
