2012 they were our 2 seed and lost in round 1 verses Lehigh.
WS and I ran into Tubby upstairs at Bourbon St Blues Bar after one of the SECT Nashville loses. He was tucked into a booth. We asked for a picture and some guy with him waved us away. So we kept moving. A minute later Tubby caught up with, apologized, and took a couple pictures. Just a great guy.

I forget what game it was but I had won row A seats at the student lottery. Back then that meant like 5 rows up behind the UK bench. Just behind me were a couple of guys I went to grade school with who I had not seen since then. They were both plastered as hell and proceeded to essentially heckle the UK bench. Nothing really bad but were trying to get players attention.
When JP Blevins first got up to go into the game, one of them yelled at the top of his lungs: YO JP! WHEN YOU GET IN THERE SHOOT A 3!!
Tubby turned around and gave us the the ole Tubby death glare. Everyone gasped and laughed. Those two knuckleheads were pretty much quiet for the rest of the game.

Granny on dad's side (been gone a long time) made the best bologna sandwiches of all time with deli meat from a mom & pop country store that is of course out of business now. She used Miracle Whip. They tasted 100x better just because Granny made them for us. 
Currently sitting in BNA. Several UK fans sitting here in the terminal. Flight has been delayed 40 minutes. Leggo or whatever.

I want to dedicate 2022 to all the teachers out there. They are selfless. This particular one took a self covid test during a flight, tested positive and self quarantined in the bathroom for 5 hours. Of course TikTok',d it.
The only thing Miracle Whip is good for is my old school family recipe for pimento cheese. 1/2 MW, 1/2 Mayo and the rest is a secret. Other than that MW can GGF.
I root for UT’s opponent almost as much as I do UK. If Iran played UT I would pull for Iran.
-Gal pal cancelled on supper plans in Louisville so heading to Epping with the folks instead, looking forward to gorging on some good food one last time before heading home.

Helped get me pumped for the game tomorrow though. Looking forward to @cawoodsct ’s idea of when the jersey goes up tomorrow.
-Went and hopped in the cryo therapy freezer today because my shoulder was hurting and I like how it feels whether it works or not. I will say the one at Optimize U off Richmond Rd. was literally just an industrial freezer with fans blowing in you, albeit much colder than a standard freezer.
I like the nitrogen ones better but the cold tub is the best by far.
-Will miss wearing boots when I get back but at least it’s back to flops. Still in the low 80s there lately. Hoping it cools off a bit soon.
