Favreau has had a heckuva career, going from low budget indie to big budget series.
Custard, muffins, donuts, etc, in any retail space, where you look and go, "how are they going to sell that much ... to pay the rent?" Always amazes me.
It’s like the $5 T-shirt shops in Duval St., they’re lease is 30-45K/month. That’s 6,000 shirts a month to break even, or 200 shirts a day 😂 that’s not happening anywhere close to that. And I’ve mentioned on here before it’s the least guarded secret that they’re just for money laundering. Easy peasy and no one cares apparently. There’s probably 6-8 of them.

-NYC sounds fun! They’ve basically decided to bury that city for the foreseeable future. Myself and many people I know wouldn’t even consider visiting there in the next few years.

And this **** is terrifying. The governor, if passed, can throw ANYONE in jail without trial if they pose a danger to public health and safety. That may be a little too totalitarian/communist for my liking. Also isn’t jail without the opportunity for a trial or anything a wee bit unconstitutional?
They pass that and I’m fine with never visiting that flaming pile of ****.

- Nice having enough firepower to get 83 and a 27-point dub on an off night against a group of rock fighters.

- Bring Sharpe along slowly off the bench. You absolutely play him. Keep pressure low and build his role. We’re good but not good enough to pocket an elite scorer.

- Just saw where Macauley Culkin married Brenda Song - imo one of the dopest asian babes around (she was in The Social Network fwiw). Those Culkins have done all right for themselves.

- Lots of generous folks in here. Props to guys like Anth, Brady and Willy for constantly giving - and to those I didn’t mention. Y’all are good dudes.

- Some of you are outrage addicts- just as bad as these random losers whose social media ******** you bring here. F off.

You mean Kooky, who only shared what he actually went through to have a decent day out with his kid?

* Game notes....

- saw-vee-yay gets wherever tf he wants on the court, and it's amazing to watch
- having a deep bench and a short rotation. those aren't mutually exclusive.
- we may not see much of allen, mintz, and collins, but those guys will absolutely help us win games in march
- tyty leads the team in "he didn't do much tonight" games where he quietly scored 15 points and played great
- cal playing his long game. maddening early in the season, but all of the sudden we've got 2 really solid 4s who play completely different games

* Did WodieSloot admit to flying.......Southwest??

Ha. lol. Chump.

* Right now, today, you can get fired from your job in New York City because you haven't gotten the first dose of a vaccination shot that is almost completely ineffective against the current Omicron variant of the COVID virus.

Really, truly, this all makes sense.

* Had exactly 2 hours to kill yesterday before picking up the lass at work right as the game finished up. Got power drunk on 32-ounce happy hour Coors Banquets and slammed some hot wings and shoestring fries at the local UK-centric watering hole. A little time to myself with sports and beer and fried food is good for the soul.

* This murder I happened to miss by just minutes on Monday:

Dude literally wrote a book about killing people (like, specific people), then carried it out. Very normal, of course.

* I'll tell you what I'm waiting for in this very new NIL era:

The athlete that takes it to the next level and creates their own brand, without relying on the school/alumni to do the work. I'm thinking about a high school player that has an Insta page like that Renner ***** or the Paul dorks. The biggest earners aren't necessarily going to be the very best players, IMHO.

(note: except for Dontaie Allen, who I'm sure is filthy rich off selling his $15 t-shirts)

* I will continue to admittedly be a 100% triggered snowflake outrage lunatic when it comes to COVID. Watching businesses and lives ruined all for political chess moves and self serving, hypocritical bs.

Speaking of which --> our (new orleans) stupid *** loser Mayor is conveniently ignoring the biggest COVID outbreak in history (hospitalizations are up 4-fold in 2 just weeks) and hyping up her New Years Eve Extravaganza on her social media. Amazing how opinions change once you're re-elected and get $400 million from the federal government.

F her.

* Iowa hasn't named a starting QB for Saturday's game yet, lol.

Do we prepare for Michael Vick or Tom Brady? OMG this Ferentz guy is playing 3D chess. What a master tactician with the mind games.

* Tubby's ceremony occurring during one of the most boring, least attended, uninteresting games really is par for the course. He deserves better, but anything that's low key and quiet just seems right up his alley.

* Update to BTI's "WHERE ARE THEY NOW"

Saul Smith = attending Friday's game in Rupp Arena. Father's jersey hung in rafters.

Kooky, so sorry to hear that you were selected in the NYC metro draft years ago and have no recourse to leave the area of your own volition.
😢
I love NYC, but it’s being destroyed by idiots in charge. No fear, these idiots will be coming (fleeing) to a town near you… dragging their **** ideology.

My eldest got an academic ride to UK, so we may be well on our way back down.

Decided to throw down a couple units on the Cats. Will make my drive way more enjoyable(hopefully) for 3 of the 18-20 hours.

Tubby would have made a perfect John Robic type. The guy knew his stuff!

- I downloaded a Yoga app that takes all my stats and activity wants and calculates plans for me. I need this bad as a 42 year old overweight fella that is getting less and less active somehow. Really need to start focusing on quality of life and feeling better.

- Emergencee gummies are great!

- Ja taking down the lakers was a thing of beauty.

- Started Succesion, great show. Shiv is fire, and I can’t imagine my wife asking for an open marriage the night of our wedding, but a 27 YO krazy would have been all for that!

- Sorry Rouge, I do not think I need investors at the moment.

- When is the last time we were lined up to face Duke in the Tourney? Seems like it’s been forever!

- Due to Iowas tempo being right up Stoops alley, I suspect this game will be over fast! 70-80 runs and all defense. Wandale with game MVP honors FTW.

For the 2019 Citrus Bowl, we took a 6:15a Southwest flight from Louisville to Orlando landing at 10:55am (connecting via Chicago) with a 1pm kick off, there was no room for error and we made it, but that was stressful. Best of luck GrandPdre!
Thanks. 7:15a take off and 9:30a arrival on a non-stop. <<fingers crossed>>

PTI makes fun of me for living in Nicholasville yet the places he chooses to live are hellscapes of ultraviolence and authoritarian lockdowns. Just saying.

I'll take Levis as the MVP with 185 passing yards and 2 passing TDs and 75 running yards and 1 rushing TD. We are going to run for close to 350 yards with Wright, Smoke, and McClain getting a lot of carries after C-Rod dominates the first quarter.

Can't believe PTI was in the same state, the same day a murder happened.

Old lady got sick Xmas Eve, I was lucky to follow 24 hrs later. Test on Monday of course came back covid +. Whatever, it's like a bad head cold. I'm only pissed about missing the bowl game. Gave my tickets away, but a wasted flight. Whatever.

There were 24 people three days before Xmas, at a neighbors for happy hour. 8 of the 24 have it. I'm pretty sure this omicron is so contagious, everybody getting this one. It's so mild, maybe it's better we all get it and get it out of the way.

I did the Covid Christmas as well, Rob. Same thing, was like a bad head cold...lost my taste and smell but it's slowly returning.

The timing sucked, pretty pumped about the natural antibodies, though.
