I just put in a KFC firelog and opened a bottle of EH Taylor Single Barrel. Have a nice Christmas Eve folks, enjoy the game.

I don’t know, the LA Times says the Clown is correct.

“And the trip through the Judean desert would have taken place during the winter, when “it’s in the 30s during the day [and] rains like heck,” said Strange. “It’s nasty, miserable. And at night it would be freezing.”

I’m pretty sure it’s widely accepted that it was made that day close to the winter solstice because pagans already celebrated that day so to make the transition under Roman emperor Constantine to Christianity easier, so they decided to go that route.

-Arnie is my favorite celebrity by a long shot and I appreciate him demonstrating his kindness. The “to whom much is given, much is required” principle.

- “I Wonder as I Wander” by New York Voices is the greatest Christmas song of all time. Mel Torme’s “Good King Wenceslas” is a sneaky top 5er for me. Turns out the Jews make some slamming Christmas tunes.

- merry Christmas, Wildcat friends.

80 knows the weather man in Tel Aviv during Jesus's time, so I'm betting on him.

And as far as a " tool shed". A tool shed with a bathroom, heat, running water, a bed, a TV etc. I don't have a" tool shed", but your tool shed must be pretty focking nice.

You’re soooooo dumb, they didn’t even have drywall 2000 years ago, I bet Jesus can’t mud worth a ****. I’d put him on sanding.

Jesus was probably a carpenter like Bernie Sanders was a carpenter. Shoddy, half assed work but would go on for days about how bad Herod, the Romans, and the Pharisees sucked.. Just a general malcontent.

All this woodworking/Jesus talk is better suited for Good Friday rather than Christmas Eve. He had to be impressed with the craftsmanship on those crosses.

I do enough work at chemical plants and refineries to know that for many of them you can’t have a beard if you want to be onsite due to the fact that it prevents a proper seal with the mask on your face, and therefore you’d be in deep **** if there’s a chemical leak. So taking this to its logical conclusion, you silly hipsters with your beards need to shave up if you think that N95 is doing you any good.

-go easy, mother****er.
Never said he wasn’t an awesome carpenter doing yeoman’s work, just said I don’t think he knows drywall. Just have the feeling he’d leave the mud way too thick at the seams and we’d be sanding forever and nobody wants that.

Worth noting the federal government is about to order five hundred million N95s.

On the tube tonight:

South Park (Christmas Snow)
Emmett Otters Jug Band Christmas
Christmas Vacation
Anything with the Grinch in it

Also, red wine and Coors Light.

Even the fish were wearing N95 masks today. I had to go grab mine to be able to catch one. This is really starting to get out of hand.

Merry Christmas, you filthy animals!

Gumbo kinda sucks, actually. It’s basically cheap stew with rice. A staple at any homeless shelter or soup kitchen.

This x100000

I appreciate the tradition, and at it’s best (Rudd) it’s really good, much like Burgoo, only better.

But as a Kentuckian I wouldn’t recommend Burgoo on my top 25 list of trying to introduce a foreigner to our state.

Trust PTI(pti) is mostly the same for gumbo & NOLA.

When I think of Cajun/Creole food, which I worship, gumbo doesn’t even register.

We stay at Quarter House in NOLA and had Daisy Dukes' (next door to QH) gumbo one evening. Loved it! Apparently a drunk off the street made it. Never had quite like that again. Not in the Quarter anyway.

Tried their gumbo again on a couple of occasions and it sucked.
