😂😂😂

I haven’t worked at Tats in years and they don’t take applications, they ask you to work there.

Easiest bar money ever because all the customers are service industry, no specialty cocktails, just jack and cokes/vodka sodas and shots, 4am closing time is for the young ones though. I was asleep at like 10:15 last night up at 6:15.

I was under the impression he signed, no?

I had no idea Pennington lived in Lex, that’s pretty cool. I grew up watching the Herd, my WV gma taught there for 18 years so we always watched them.

It sort of feels like he doesn't want to disappoint his home state, but he's planning on disappointing his home state...

I assume his team and UK are just working out the financials and he'll sign when that's all figured up.

Ultimately, he ain't gonna make or break us. Next man up. This program is stacked. We'll snag another legit OL from the portal and keep it rolling. Or not. Looking at our current OL depth, I think some of our guys have to hit the portal. It's unbelievable how much talent we have at OL.

I don't know what the hold up is but I know for sure Asperations Gym will come out profiting somehow.

* Stopped by the grocery store and saw a briefase of Coors Lights on sale for $17.99. Always one to fit in with the locals, I had to indulge. Man, those go down as easy as water. Because, well...

* This is why Mark Stoops didn't want to leave. He will eventually, and I'm totally prepared for that, but we just went (a somewhat disappointing) 9-3, bring back a ton of talent next year, and it looks like we'll land two top-15 recruiting classes in a row. 9-3 is one thing, but looking forward to an even brighter future is a whole new ballgame.

* Haven't seen the "WELP IT'S DECEMBER ____, AND I JUST CHECKED OUT OF WORK FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR LOL" flex from GYERO yet. Who's gonna be the first?

least likely = chief
most likely = ksrterry

* I miss Jim Rome's "Triple U" = unfunny, uninspired, unreadable, but will submit this workplace chatter:

"LIKE OH MY GOD THIS YEAR FLEW BY SOOOOOOOOOO FAST."

In mid-December, has a year ever NOT flown by really fast? (hint: no)

* According to VIVID SEATS, you can get into this weekend's game for as little as $9. Safe to assume Bern will catch a last minute Frontier flight?

* Urban Meyer is the greatest coach ever who just keeps making himself look like a complete bozo.

* DIE HARD IS A CHRISTMAS MOVIE LOL.

* If your name is Ja'Kobi Albert, you're born to be a star.

(got a lot of cousins, too)

* Back in the day when I worked at O'Charley's, we had this regular who was about 5-foot-6, grossly overweight, ugly, wore glasses, had no friends/significant others to speak of, bald, and had a ****** job working for the phone company. He grew up a diehard Kentucky fan, but swore off his allegiance and started rooting for Duke after Joe B Hall was run off. That was the turning point and he became a bitter, grumpy ***, cantankerous UK hater from then on.

What I'm saying is the dude was a loser with no friends who was mad at the world and seemed to take it out on all the UK fans around him. Reminds me a LOT of cole/UKO.

* Read online that the president was greeted in Mayfield by "LET'S GO BRANDON" cheers. I'm sure it was only a few people at the most, but damn. You've got to be some kind of a-hole to pull such a stunt.

I hate the government and spending money they don't have and all that, but the financial response that comes from a disaster like this is usually pretty incredible. I fully expect those communities to get very well taken care of by Uncle Sam, as they should be.

* So the NBA has teams struggling to field entire roster, arenas expected to being operating at 50% capacity, superstars sitting out games because of protocol....

....IF ONLY THERE WAS A WAY OUT OF THIS.
Good call. I’ve already checked out of work. Unfortunately, it’s because I’m having shoulder surgery in a couple weeks. Gonna be on the shelf for 2-3 months.

Just saying it’s a great alternative vs being laid up for months. Surgeons want to cut man, whether needed or not. And you should listen to a roommate blowing former murse, I know things. We’ll see how you’re feeling about the surgery 1 month in.

I’ve had friends that have had both shoulders done and it took a full year to be “normal” again. Good luck pal!

Also, riding scooters is the ish. Everyone that rents them on vacation loves it. Don’t hate what you’re scared of bruh.

I’d say this shows a stunning lack of self awareness from a school with a highly publicized, well detailed stripper/hooker scandal but I’m old enough to remember when they gave out red lights at a basketball game the same year all of that was going down.

My wife is an RN. Has been for 28 years. One of the most respected in our area. I respect her opinions, her boss’s opinions, and the shoulder specialist they hooked me up with. Nothing against you, “bruh”, but I’m in good hands.

I honestly hope it goes great and happy you have a great support/info system around you. I would just try stem cell before slicing my ligaments and cartilage into pieces. They have it in Lexington. Again, shoulder specialist wants to cut, that’s what he was taught to do. If they didn’t even throw stem cell out there it’s probably because he can’t wait to chop chop.

My right shoulder has been dislocated at least 30 times. Hasn’t happened in 4-5 years now which is great but still clicks and feels off with certain positions while lifting. They wanted to cut it and I said no thanks. No way am I not going to workout for months to a year. I’m just very careful with positioning it. I’m considering stem cell before I go back to Florida.

Question for the "bourbon balls" in this thread. If you had to pick just 1 of the Down Home bourbon offerings, which would you go with?
