I'm not sure he can even READ anymore (or want to put that much effort into it)

Is it possible he's got some health problem etc.?

This is an almost unprecedented spiral, for a coach to just lose it like this, straight out of the blue. Normally it's a gradual decline. He's gone from being a premier coach, for decades and turned into Dick Fick. In 18 months.

The fat mfer lost a horrible game to Wisconsin and then literally said he didn’t care about winning and losing, he cares about DREAMS. He said that bs out loud and I’ve never forgiven him. That was like 7 years ago.

Still haven’t watched a game this year. Idgas.

Listening to some of these callers from Western Kentucky calling in on the post-game show, and I gotta tell you, I'm feeling kind of petty, about getting this upset over a basketball team.

I'm retired and not doing ****, I should probably be heading there to help out. I wouldn't even know where to start. Anybody have some contacts etc. let me know [email protected]

- You would assume last year would wake this MFer up. You would consider the roster he built to be a sign of being awoken. I don’t get it. We have a roster built for 3s and the dude popping are the ones we’d rather didn’t.

- Play a 2-3 on the inbounds like I learned in 3rd grade you stupid piece of ****.

- I was legit shaking in the first half with that lineup featuring one shooter- Mintz.

I think “assuming” has officially left the building. It probably did a few years ago, but it’s now irrefutable.

We’ve been bitching about the same **** (Inexplicable Lineups & ridiculous modern Offensive philosophy) for *many* years.

I see no evidence whatsoever to make me think that will change.

Yeah and I keep waiting for GYERO to come back to a place I enjoy visiting. Guess we’re both F’d.

—Uh-oh

—That said, the last 30 minutes of the post-game call in show was tough. I personally know people who have lost their house and some that have lost loved ones. Pretty ****** day any way you spin it.

Cal got his in 2012 and is fat and happy. It is noble that he wants to help young men gain generational wealth, but it doesn’t translate to winning games and championships. He doesn’t want to “take someone’s heart” aka playing Guys who aren’t performing so that he doesn’t hurt their draft stock or cause himself problems on the recruiting trail. Hesitant to play zone at appropriate times because you don’t play zone in the NBA.

Apathy is running systemically through BBN and his condescending messaging is pissing everyone off. Trashing Allen last year for petty reasons. etc. Wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t play Sharpe this year just to ignite the fan base.

Of our 19 three point shots 12 of them came from Mintz/Grady. The other 7 were a mix of 5 players.

I don’t follow the complaint that the people shooting them aren’t who we want.

Anyway, Anth, I got UK straight up and you got Ohio State next week? Deal? How much?

I'm no basketball, but stagnant offense aside, it seems like our real problem is on the other side of the ball. And has been for years. I'm mystified when I watch even mediocre teams get to the basket at fvcking will on us. With the athletes he brings in I don't understand how our defense is consistently this poor. I wish one of you that knows more about the game than I do could explain this to me (not being sarcastic)

Anth has some vague Covid comment with a political spin, and then some other snarky ******** pussyfooting comment. So I wouldn’t hold your breath on anything other than that according to the last 15 months.

It doesn't seem like we take 3's that are set up very well. Feeding a guy on the wing, that's moving laterally when he gets the ball and just lets fly, or 3's off the dribble. What happened to penetrating and kicking out to a ready shooter, inside out. I've always heard that those kinds of threes go in at a significantly higher rate.

The Beans and Adrian are mad at us for not going to Vegas this year. But after spending 6 days in Vegas amongst 2 losses right before Christmas in 2019 when I had a 4 year old, I said I’m not doing that again. I love Vegas and despite the GYERO contingent opinion, I like neutral site games in fun places. But I’m just kinda tired of this ****. And our kids are only young once.

We’ve also been trading out taking George to these ****** non conference games instead of the 3 of us going and getting a sitter for the baby. It’s not worth it to worry about all that for these crappy games.

Get it together, catpaws.

Turns out, unless you're emergency/medical personnel, they don't want people heading west to help. Guess it would just slow down the workers that know what they're doing.

That’s pretty much why I stayed home, figured I’d just be in the way. I don’t know how to operate a backhoe or a crane so I might as well stay out of the way.
