Most under rated thing about these last few games and something that gives me hope for the college basketball season as a whole is the officiating has been excellent.

My ND alum buddy thinks it’s Freeman. Such a risk with coordinators. Helluva recruiter and DC tho.

I would have guessed 20 coaches before LSU hiring Kelly. Not saying it’s bad gore but to steal ND’s coach is almost unfathomable.

I'd love to know the economics behind Ruby's 20% off discount. It's a fascinating offer and I think it's brilliant marketing.
  • What's the uptick in revenue because everybody is thinking they're getting a good deal, especially in the slow season of Jan and Feb?
  • What percent never use them (3% of gift cards go unused nationally)
I just bought the $250 one and I'm thinking I should double up.

Pre easy economics. They give a discount 5 days out of the year because they make a sh**ton of money the other 361 days.

Kelly has been at ND for a long time and has never really put a team together that anyone realistically thought was a contender. Can easily see why he'd want a fresh start in the best football conference in America.

Bought $200 today.

Recently, that won't pay for one solo ticket depending on the crew I'm with.

With Oscar on the floor, we were +36

With him off the floor, we were -8

We were best team in the country when he was on the court tonight and 8 points worse than the 315th team in kenpom when he was off. Oscar should be in the conversation for player of the year at this stage.

I thought this was supposed to end with Joel leaving? That 3 times now in the last couple months.

- If there’s one thing I’m not worried about, it’s guards the next few years. Peculiar situation there.

- How nice is it to have such game-to-game consistency from Tschibwe and Wheeler?

- Yeah, was off on Kelly/ND. College football is nuts right now and I don’t think it’s a good thing. I mean ND and Oklahoma are probably in the top 3 programs of all-time with Bama. I get why both guys left, though. If you want a championship, you have to stack Top 3 classes for half a decade. Can only do that at a few schools and unbelievably, ND and Oklahoma aren’t two of them.

- Question- do Stoops’ looks keep him from being an elite candidate?

-I don't think his looks have anything to do with it. He's going to be a perpetual plan C. His system isn't built to win next year or really even the year after that. Give a guy a 20 million dollar compensation plan and he better win quick. I'm fine with it. Longer he's here the more it becomes who he is.

-BJ Boston is going off in the G League. Amazing what happens when great, but not elite, Freshman are thrust into trying to lead UK. 75% of the time they're just not ready for that ****. Then look at this year, Washington, other than Duke, has played fantastic. He's pretty much seamless, few mistakes, shoots lights out. Collins, is progressing nicely and contributing. Now Hopkins is doing the same and could be a huge piece for us later in the year. Especially when Oscar is in foul trouble. When they don't have to be the guy from day 1 in MSG vs Duke it's night and day.

Gotta have a solid base of experience then compliment with elite freshman talent.

-We're riding a razor thin margin of error with so much of our productivity coming from 1 guy BUT damn I think we're pretty f*cking good when everyone is playing.

-We could use a hot game from Allen. Good lord. He's basically the reason we didn't win by 50.

-Ware, not a good basketball player. No, BBdk, I don't want him to leave. I just want him to sit very far down the bench.

-Regardless, refreshing to come out and throttle these last few teams. Ready to play some real talent.

-The crowd in Rupp is just sad. Maybe 50-55% last night. They're going to really regret not doing club/suite areas in that place.

-Rupp soft serve is trash. It's not just overrated, it's terrible.

-Football really is insane right now, but I kinda like it. Portal has even the playing field a bit, imo.

-ND not throwing TD Jesus at Urban would be a mistake. Then Fickell. They have 2 obvious candidates. Who cares, just give us Aamil Wagner.

-Putting the Tubby game on the night before the most obvious bowl game date is very on brand for UK.

Oh, surely. I bet Mitch reminded him of his fat, redheaded status in their recent meeting, sealing the deal for him to stay.

WTF are you talking about?

I mean of all the personality shortcomings, lapses in judgment, moral bankruptcies that coaches overcome to get these massive contracts, you think looks are holding him back?
