Many years ago, I went to heat up some leftover tailgate chili in the microwave at a post-game. SAE chastised me and basically forced me to reheat it on the stove, saying that was the proper thing to do. Ever since, I almost never use the microwave, especially for reheating chili or soup.

The Pad-Thai thing was brought up at lunch today. The hens were trying to argue about it with me (and these ladies are really good at arguing) They thought it is most definitely a soup. They then asked me to classify what it was and, with my confidence already leaking, I said noodle dish(??) and got laughed at.

What are their emails or Facebooks?

I have my first Uncle crisis.

This past weekend I learned that my nephews like twerking. Like it was the most hysterical thing in the world to block my view of the TV so they could twerk.

My SIL tells me that it's endemic; it's a problem with the boys playing football, soccer or whatever. They have to periodically stop games to tell them to stop twerking.

I'm still not processing this information well and shaming them did nothing. But if I had to guess, one of their teachers thinks Pad Thai is a soup.

It’s funny because I don’t know them.

I had pho last weekend for dinner and it was wonderful, however it has noodles in it. I also grew up eating lentil soup on sundays. That was it the whole Sunday, just lentil soup. I liked it personally, but seeing as how I grew up in a family of 3rd world vagrants that might actually prove the point that it’s not a proper meal.

Went to haunted fest Friday at my wife’s insistence. It’s a giant EDM festival, alesso was the main act. I had quite a few gummies, lots of alcohol, and some adderall I found that I’m pretty sure was 12 years old from college. So I was good, my wife who is still nursing our 3 month old and has only drank like 4 times in the last year decided she was still in her old-school sorority form and within an hour was completely incoherent. Had to babysit her - arguing nonsense with me, lost her touching purse that had our IDs and CCs and both our phones in it. About the only positive was I was able to dance with a bunch of hot 20 year olds for a bit without her noticing. What a mess.

If you’re ever in the Pensacola Beach area check out Peg Leg Pete’s. Didn’t try the soup but the seafood was great. Prolly going to drive over to Biloxi to take down the Beau Rivage tomorrow night.

When Cal leaves, we better go all-in on Nate Oats. The guy is winning, his style is fun, and now he's consistently landing elite recruits. And working the transfer portal to fill holes.

All. In.

*I've had Italain Wedding soup solo a few times. Well, added some French bread to dip, of course.

*Pad Thai is a soup. Never heard that one before. Clearly someone was trying to speak on something they know nothing about. Maybe she got punk'd?

Edit: There are recipes for a soup version.

*Picked up my key...no...fob to my new temporary living quarters. Guessing I'll be there in 2 weeks or so. The worst part is trying to figure out how to decorate the place and not look like a dorm. I haven't made a decision on such things in 20 years.

*Going against what I just said, I'm 80% convinced on buying a golden tee cabinet. If I do, there will be tournaments (gambling, of course house takes 5%) with teams or individuals. Already have a few people in the hood ready to roll.
If you don't like that, well, step on over to J or Better and try your luck.

Only there a year, so, why not.

My girlfriend had the Mahi Mahi. I had the grilled grouper. They both were great. Been on a diet the past three weeks so no burgers.

Top 5 soups-
Chicken Noodle when I’m sick.
That’s it.

It's the wasted electricity or gas that makes it taste better.

After 3+ years of doing my Monday treatment and being my own guinea pig as to what lessens the bad side effects the results are beef veggie soup for dinner before said treatment. That said my homemade veggie soup has about a half pound of meat in each bowl and has the consistency of extra thick chili. Of course that’s just what helps me on Monday and I’m eating it now so I’m not giving it a universal seal of approval for regular dinner.

* Correction:

Narcos Seasons 1 and 2 were centered around Pablo Escobar and were amazing.
Narcos Season 3 was about the Cali Cartel, and wasn't very good.
Narcos Mexico Season 1 and 2 were about Miguel Gallardo and were amazing.

So this will be Narcos Mexico Season 3. I'm sure it will be bonkers.

* Bernie:

I just had to furnish a 1-bedroom apartment entirely with items I intend to immediately throw away/donate in about 4-5 more months. The lass and I have literally spent about $200.

- $60 couch from Salvation Army
- $30 oversized leather chair from Craigslist
- 3 free tables we found by the trash chute

Pretty amazing if you have a bit of patience. And if that doesn't work, befriend a homosexual.

* Dark Side of the Ring is just fantastic. Rasslers, like white people, be CRAY.

* Speaking of apartment living -- there are some small perks, but I'm not sure how you poors and 500-FICOs do it.
