I’ll tell you what, I’ve drank a lot of good/rare/exotic beer in my life, but there is no beer on the face of this earth better than a super frosty Bud Heavy from your old man’s icebox.
We are jumping coastal Carolina, penn state, and Oklahoma State
The atmosphere played a role for sure, but one of the best beers I ever tasted was an ice cold Budweiser at the 2009 All-Star Game that had literally just been brewed and was trucked directly to a party zone outside Busch.
My old man being what he is, he of course had longnecks, cans, and these janky *** big bottle aluminum cans he found somewhere on sale. I’ve drank all three, and verdict: all of the above.

It’s a crazy thing. Some beers are better in bottles and some cans. Bud heavy easily better in cans.
Agreed, Cawood. The bud longneck is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship, however. That “beechwood aged” lie scribbled into the glass gets me every time.
Uhhh what? A nice cold bottle of beer is way better than a can. Even the boys in Shawshank tarring the roof knew that.

As crazy as it sounds we need it to be cold that night. Hooker and his pops both suffer from an issue where they shiver uncontrollably in just slightly cold weather. It’s has bothered them both over their lifetime.

UL and UT have me more concerned every week. I was under the impression they’d be pretty winnable games and they still are but not as easily.
I never consider any UK football game an easy win. I'm pleasantly surprised when they actually are easy.
I’ll be in the house doing my part. First time in CW in years. Last time I was at a UT game Peyton drove down the field and beat us in the final seconds.

My Dad worked for Anheuser…Miller might as well have been UL to me growing up…when ML came out with the more taste, less filling and campaign- I must’ve heard “dog **** has a lot of taste too, would ya drink that” about a million times.
Simple tips from a beer mans son: bottle>can (something to do with the air in the top), put a good inch head on draft (release some of that C02 to save your head next day), Bud is king - everything else is “pisswater”…but here’s one not to ignore, if you see Michelob Light (not ultra, amber etc), that was his pound for pound best beer they produce.
he also always seems to be chapped that Miller lite isn’t a light version of any Miller beer…totally different recipe. If any of his family members came around with that ****, he was literally hurt and pissed for a while (they knew not to, too many ticket and event opportunities)…if moms family had it, he just used it as evidence to put them into this loser degenerate category.
Id wear out an establishment if they could find the extinct michelob light on tap.

For better or worse, I hate that sob James Franklin more than any other coach. Loved seeing him lose an embarrassing one today. He is a clown and a fraud. Ever since Stoops told that mfer to bring it on, It’s been personal with me. The man is stupid, and I hope he ends up coaching at UL one day.
I learned about this thing called a “cricut” today, pronounced cricket. Lady friend clued me in, and I’m pretty positive this device is solely responsible for the “live/laugh/love” wood sign craze, and the thousands of downtown cutesy hen boutiques that have gone out of business in the last 5 years. A lot of good information in this post. What the hell ever did happen to Mich Light? That was a go-to for a lot of years.
When I want to seem new money to the people I’m appearing with, but want to drink a solid, straightforward beer, I will grab a sixer of OG Michelob. The moms are all like, what’s this, sexy bottle, you must have a big cock.
Ultra, as well as the Amber “Bock”, are crap beers. Would like to see this former legacy mainline offering recapture its brand.
Mich Light was the beer we bought when we got paid internships in college and were flush with cash.
