Edit: He got a 3 yr 900K per deal last year.
So in 1 yr he is a FA again, and he got that because Mich State tried to get him but we locked him up which had to go a long way with Stoops.
He is the highest paid position coach in the country, and at the time made as much as our OC.
So my guess of 2M per was double what he makes. Seems easy and makes it impossible for someone to take him away, which would make it real hard for Stoops to leave too, IMHO.
All those guys will get a raise this year. Stoops big raise, coach friendly contract. Staff raises. Facility upgrades. They're probably already in the works.

At programs like Florida, Florida State and Miami, you get fired for winning seven games a season, but at Kentucky you actually get a contract extension. At LSU, Ed Orgeron won the national championship just two years ago and yet, incredibly, he will be lucky to keep his job after this season.

Have been to ROOSTER fights within the last two years (Brownsville, KY). Owner of the Puerto Vallerta's here in town has some and also has race horses. The name of his stable is "Six Pack Cartel" also, his "tomato" farm in Mexico is part of it. He is into ALL kinds of Shenanigans, but the MF'er prints money, owes over 30 restaurants in 4 different states. When rolling with him, dinner and drinks are on the house. He brings tequila back from Mexico for my wife every time he goes. (I do not drink tequila, never even tasted it or had a margarita) Agave or some **** like that.
When I was 13/14 growing up in the hard streets of The Best Little Town On Earth, I would frequent the Noel Ave. / 2nd North Street community of M-Ville, behind the LRC and Youth Center. MLK BLVD to be exact. Older cats would park their cars on the basketball court forming a blocked in square, and I witnessed dog fights. Anyone who partakes in that, should be hung, absolutely disgusting. I do not see how any human could have the gall to think that is entertaining. You have to be one hardened, no emotions, piece of ****.
Saturday, show up, get their attention, give it all you got, leave it all on the field, blood, sweat, and tears. Protect the pigskin, keep the yellow handkerchiefs off the ground, bust some heads. Win or lose, let them know you where there, and hold your head high and rep the touch out of UK. On and ON, ATKOT. Let's Get It.
