A flat tax is great on paper but a) would kill a huge number of jobs (all the pencilnecks that thread loopholes) and more importantly b) those who can take advantages of the loopholes won't vote to close them.

Kind of like those who claim to be in favor of term limits...right up until they get to the Hill and have the ability to enact them. Suddenly that quaint notion fades like a fart in the wind.

Congrats Pretzel, great rundown. Has me really missing my favorite place to visit on earth.

That OneWorld elevator is like a theme park ride, imo.

I'm not sure what I was expecting for the elevator, but my brain couldn't really compute going up that far that fast until it happened. The only time I felt a little wobbly was the ride back down and the whole "the building is made to sway a little" seemed to kick in.

-Patiently awaiting Krazy's MNF pick.

-Great to see everyone and meet drx's little guy, Handsome feller. Great hair. Thanks again Anth/Jaime.

-Walked back after the game and heard a couple "M****F*****s" and F words flying around with families walking by. A spirited debate over going for the yard or kicking the FG was taking place in anth's driveway. Geese and co.

In that instance, with the line and yardage we were generating at will, I think you go for it FTR.

-I could *taste* that 28-7 score. What a gut punch that was. Totally changed the energy in the stadium. The 3rd quarter was weird as hell in there. Glad it showed well on TV though. It was a good crowd, especially late.

-Already jumped on that Bama line. Think they'll *murk* Florida.

-I'm done with Smoke. Drennen, please.

-Wan'dale is so bad ***. Man, love watching him.

-Stoops seemed pleased on the postgame show. I think we have a *ton* of upside this season, and he knows it.

-Choosing a paint color for the house/trim is stressful as hell.

-Thanks for the Old Fo, Booker.

-What happened to the cute UK girls? Like, where are they? I haven't seen one in two weeks. Bunch of homely slobs that look like they just crawled out of bed is all I'm seeing.

King of Kentucky and William LaRue Weller are the only bottles I’d consider paying a hefty sum for... all others can wait.

I can only imagine how good King is. I had a WLW 2016 which was immeasurably better than anything that came before it.

The only thing against Smoke for me is that it feels like any carry not given to CRod is a wasted one, even with his fumbling. But that's completely unrealistic, obviously.

The one run Smoke had where he made a man miss in the backfield before bursting for a nice gain was impressive, so hopefully more of that is to come.

Just don't think he runs very hard. Isn't physical. Always banged up. Fumble prone.

Drennen looked pretty dope in that last drive against La Monroe so I'm anxious to see what he can do when it matters.

I need a gif of Levis murdering Blaze. That’s was unbelievable, and the ****** broadcast didn’t give it enough play.

When the SEC Network came about, I envisioned something much different than what we got. Awful **** announcers, the absolute worst fake accented DOWN SOUTH YALL promos, with damn Chris Doering back at the studio. This is the SEC man! It’s really getting to me. You could take the entire KSR crew, Ryan Lemond included, and blow the doors off what the SEC Network is.
No, what you need is a GIF of "Do not post during UK games" because you suck. And there is in game redass, then there is ****** posting and bitching about EVERYTHING, guess which one you are ?

The targeting call I also thought it was at first. Then after reviewing the replay a few times, the Mizzou player did not intentionally hit him. it was more of a collision that was initiated by either player, Thus the no call, they both ended up at the same spot, neither the Offensive or defensive guy was trying to hit the other. INTENTION is a big component in whether it is a flag or not. You don't just throw a flag if two guys collide, and then be a automatic call on the defensive guy because they hit heads. Good no call.

It truly would have been a totally different final margin of victory if you just take 2/3 boneheaded plays out, ALL created by the UK offense. BUT, the defense (which was my biggest concern starting the year), has to manufacture some pressure, because they sure as hell are not providing it on their own. Delay blitz, disguise defensive formations, move guys around pre-snap, even a few all out blitzes. Anything to get the QB haven't to think fast and make quick decisions. Nobody changed any play calling last night, it was a simple case of Mizzou is very bad against the run, so we attacked by going at their weakness, Stoops did not take any play calling duties away from Coen, another dumbass dumbass post during in-game redass. There will be games we will throw more than run, run more than we throw, and be very balanced like week 1. The opponents weakness on defense will determine what we game plan.

Luck was on my side and I mean really lucky, I won my Fan Duel head to head last night on the last play, Henderson getting that 6 yard run for the Rams.

Definitely should have gone for it and iced the game there. We needed a half yard. If you have no confidence in a QB sneak or your 200+ yard rusher going between the tackles, we have bigger issues.

I saw plenty of young smoke walking into the stadium. Definitely thinking to myself with the lass present that I should have done my college years better.

7pm kick at South Carolina, as expected. Fix the lack of pass rush and turnover margin, 4-0 with Florida and LSU coming to town.

As already said, the stadium atmosphere was outstanding. People showed out, just a few blue hairs left early, and it was as rowdy and into the game as it's been in a while. Props to the student section, too.

- Valentine had a bit of a rough game and got picked on quite a bit. I think he's much better in run support than pass coverage... which isn't great for a corner. That said, it was good to see him making the game sealing 4th down pass break-up.

- I don't mind the conservative defense as much as some have complained about... we're just basic. We take the viewpoint of "Hey... if you can put together 12 plays in a row without a holding penalty then you're probably gonna score. We're just not gonna help you out by giving up chunk plays". Most college teams aren't disciplined, patient and talented enough to do that. Missouri was. South Carolina isn't.

- Robinson fielding punts is a bit... shaky.

- Ryder Cup early... UK/USC late. Nice.

- I’ll never understand the college engagement. This isn’t 1965 smh

- Iowa State’s high point is still Mallory from Real World: Paris.

- I’m shocked Gene Chizik is so good in the studio.

- I don’t believe in much when it comes to the Bengals but in Burrow I trust.

- Never been to Boulder but was rather disappointed in what Denver had to offer.

Have to think bra shirts would fit right in next to the inflatable Wildcat and kiddos throwing nerf football with their grandfather.

Can we order that up for the LSU tailgate? Wholesome family fun for all, really.

Had a good debate with a buddy yday about our D philosophy. Would you rather..

1. Have an aggressive D that makes plays behind LOS but gives up 2-3 big plays per game or..

2. Less aggressive, few plays behind LOS but never give up big play.

I chose #2 bc big plays are just killers (see Mumme and somewhat Brooks) for game momentum. Would rather see if other team can go 10-12 plays without F’ing up to score 7 or see if we can hold them to 3.

Officially feeling really old when most of the college kids look like children to me…mixed bag, some were the traditional cuties but there was a frumpy component.

I mean, Smoke hasn't set the world on fire...but he only has 13 carries, has shown great burst on several of them, and is averaging 5yds per.

What am I missing w/ all the hate this morning?
ROBERT JUTAHN was the only backup talked about all offseason. Part of that was because Smoke was out, and that's also Smoke's biggest problem. He's always banged up, but he's explosive, and if he stays healthy, he'll help us out big time and he's continues to gain some momentum. Couple nasty cuts last game. He's got some wiggle and speed to take it the distance. We need him bad.

Where we could really end up getting F'd over (thanks Mitch!) is the secondary. With Vito and Andru out (F U MITCH), and the issues we displayed Saturday...we're flirting with disaster out there. Can't afford any injuries and we can't tackle that great.

* "Mom jeans."

For christ's sake. Isn't the name alone a dead giveaway?

And I've also started seeing "Dad hats." Not as personally offensive, for obvious reasons, but terrible nonetheless.

* Does Forde still do his weekly article with "Coach Who Earned His Comp Car" and "Coach Who Deserves To Take The Bus Home" bit?

If so, then Mike Norvell --> have fun hoofing it.

(he's the Florida State head coach, btw).

Norvell admitted to playing a conventional defense on the last play of the game this weekend, as opposed to dropping all the way back in a prevent defense. His reasoning was that he thought Jacksonville had time to run 1 additional play before throwing a Hail Mary.

There were 6 seconds left.

* 2 episodes into White Lotus, and I don't even understand the point of the show. I assume it gets better?

Need to see tittays or death pretty soon.

* DeCarlos Nicholson = YAHTZEE!!!

Bonus points for the completely unnecessary "De-."

* 7pm est kickoff in Columbia. Yippee.
