Normally, that would be ludicrous, but at this point, given how horrifyingly dysfunctional they've proven to be, I wouldn't completely discount it. LOL

There is literally nothing, IMO, that is "off the table" for that sh*t-show.
I said it tongue only half in cheek.

Has Dish Network and/or DirectTV just given up? We canceled our service with Dish over 5 months ago in favor of YoutubeTV and other streaming services. We still have the mounted satellite on the house and the receiver/remotes. No one has called/contacted us to even try to get these things back. They just seem defeated and have accepted their failure. It’s like they’re saying, “just keep it. We don’t need it anyway.”

Not unlike the Louisville Cardinal athletic program when you think about it.

I believe the satellite providers just leave the dishes there. The idea being if you move and the people who move in after you want a dish it is already there.

Tues Morning Randoms:

Spent most if the last two weeks in quarantine with the kids. Both got the covid, neither had many symptoms.

Momma and I stayed covid negative, vaccines FTW.

Unfortunately, both my parents got it too and had major symptoms. Mom is super high risk, so she got the monoclonal antibody treatment, which worked almost immediately. They are both doing better now.

Quarantine ended at EOD Friday. Went to the game, then spent the rest of the week at the lake to celebrate B.money's birfday.

Ate the biggest prime filet of my life Saturday night. Smoked the whole tenderloin to rare, then cut filets and seared... OMG 👀💯

Drake's new album is as good as Kanye's is bad.

Knocked down a Jeroboam of Moet Sunday after hanging out on the lake with boatdoc.

Speaking of boatdoc, he has the nastiest looking feet I've ever seen in person. Get a pedi dude 🤮

Great seeing PTI and his fiance for the weekend.

Took the boy striper fishing yesterday, he had a blast. Nothing like catching a fish almost as big as you are.

UL getting stomped was a great cap to the weekend.

Dragging *** this morning.

Satellite companies are slowly moving to streaming rather than satellites. But judging by the number of abandoned satellite dishes on houses, they've never cared.

Seriously, I've as always sort of rolled my eyes at SAE's flipflop/foot rants. I fully understand now though. I had nightmares about those crusty, peeling feet.

- Even if they did come take Strokin's satellite dish down, his wife would probably just end up hitting somebody with it. Leaving it up is probably for the best.

- Hitting up that local high school football game the other night was exactly what I needed after a long week. Packed house, perfect weather, big win for the local boys, just a nice way to spend a Friday night. And got home in plenty of time to catch some late night CFB action.

- The CFA Egg White Grill is the best (only?) "healthy" FF breakfast option. Pepperjack replacement, maybe a packet of salsa if I'm feeling particularly feisty.

- Kirk Herbstreit's second-half analysis of Louisville can best be summed up as "Bless their hearts".

- Mowed again last night. Happy to report that no bunnies were spotted, either dead or alive.

- I know they're scheduled out through 2028 or whatever, but I really hope that UL-Ole Miss crowd was the nail in the coffin for many of those season-opening neutral site games. Just put Bama somewhere, and put Georgia somewhere. Let the rest of the marquee games happen on campus sites. Even in a non-COVID year, that place might have been 1/3 full at best.

-Bike to Beat Cancer Week. Annual solicitation for donations. Let's get it.

-Nothing helps the program like looking helpless as the stand alone prime time Monday game. Lol. Didn't watch the 2nd half but Kirk was doing his best to find anything positive. I don't know how you don't just pull the plug on that failure asap. The cupboard is a disaster, they have 1 guy who probably won't make it to week 6(Why didn't Cunningham transfer?), they were a logistical mess, his recruiting is terrible. What is there to look forward to? Just an awful, awful hire. Hope they sign him to a long term deal.

-Regardless, for both programs, Tomma isn't walking through that door.

-Cats need to shake off that rust and eliminate the untimely penalties. Without those we played about as well as you could ask. Levis and Robinson got most of the attention, but what QB wants to deal with Pascal, Wright, and Weaver? Then McCall and Ox in the middle. This team is built nasty and deep AF.

-Didn't realize Spencer Hall has a SECN show. It's not bad. Very dry, like his humor, but that dude is just entertaining.

-UF doesn't have a QB, Mizzou almost lost and doesn't have a D, USC is playing a Grad Asst, UL 🤣, Vandy😭, UGA 's Defense is a best, LSU doesn't have a QB or D, UT is meh, State almost lost to LA Tech. We have basically 6 guaranteed W's and 4 should wins. Then Florida and UGa. Stars aligning folks.

-Levis has everyone in the south eating whole bananas. Lol

-Great weekend celebrating B$'s Bday. Headed to the lake after the game. Grilled out, drank, boated, let the boys go nuts, grilled some more, drank more, caught some fish. Great times by all.

-Shook of the rust with a late afternoon lift yesterday and 6am ride today. As my good buddy bonz says, "You can't hoot with the owls, if you want to soar with the eagles."

-Kinda want to put one of those little 2 person saunas in the basement.

-Don't want to pile on but his feet are the stuff of nightmares. I'm assuming he stepped into a toxic acid bath or something. He needs that little fish bowl treatment.

-UCLA twitter destroying LSU was magical.

-Forecast is DOPE.

-Should be a helluva day Saturday. WCTGE!!

I love how the story goes from first time on my boat, popping bottles and all everyone talks about is my feet. Guess I must be doing the boat thing right:)

But yeah, I’m behind on getting some pedis. Break out the cheese grater. I’m due. Some poor Asian woman is about to have a bad day.

Was a lot of fun having everyone out there. Nice to see the future Pti’s and AP.com make it too.

-nice little Saturday. Cats are good, gang

-PTI's gal is awesome. She saved my ***...as I had wrenched my back playing tennis, and the Advil stopped working at halftime...and as a noted dumbass I forgot to bring Advil. She is good people.

^brother had a cow go into labor and couldn't make the game...glad someone could use the seats.

-headed to Louisville Sunday AM. Stayed in nulu (was neither shot, nor witnessed a shooting). Hit all the vintage stores...fleur di flea is really cool, recommend. Oysters and such at the river house for dinner...not a hip joint but worked in a pinch. More of the same Sunday and lunched at the venezuelan joint in nulu. Tasty and filling.

-listening to crying Kirk herbstreet talk about how much Ole miss defense had improved (and they have a bit) was irritating. Wasn't pointing out how bad the cards are. They're really bad. *Small* in the trenches.

-missou doesn't bother me. Cats by 10+.
