Couldnt get through the first episode of that show. Its no "Two-a-Days" for sure. The only redeeming quality in it was that the high school has a one-armed "Booster Club" president named 'Nub"

Propst is a special kind of maniac.

-WildcatWilliam in gyero is good for everyone. Other than still owing me payback against that holey jeaned *****, he's a good dude.

-40 wasn't scary or anything, but as wynn said, it certainly led me to realize what I wanted to prioritize for the next portion of life. Spending time with family and getting back into a few activities, with the boys, I enjoyed as a young dude.

-Wiped politics and rona in November for a few months. Feel like I'm balancing it better these days. Mainly just quick snipes to piss off WCC. Understand what HK is saying, but I don't think we have a lack of paying attention, maybe the opposite. Too many fanatics that are up in arms and flip positions on a whim. Think they could use a good "chill the f*ck out" break.

-WCC's Dad is by far my favorite sports follow. Dusty Bell, cracks me up every time.

-First night of coach pitch. Feel terrible G is on the DL, but he's handling it well. Hopefully back in 2 weeks. Team has talent. CSC1 has a story to tell. 🤣 This one will haunt him for years.

-Is it just our league, or all these days, that doesn't have the teams rush the concession stands for a hot dog and suicide?

-Made it to Thursday, dry. That'll do. New weekly goal but those Wednesday nights are TOUGH to skip.

-It's pretty hard to put into perspective the anticipation I have for 67k fans packed into a stadium ready to cheer on a damn fine UK Football Team. Tasty.

-Bike to Beat Cancer next weekend, I'm in good shape, actually really good shape, but haven't been outdoor cycling much this year. Prolly be limping around that Mizzou tailgate.

Mitch is miserable on the radio. Horrible takes on NIL and booze. Solid AD, but he needs to hire a mouthpiece to make his public appearances, because he never has a good answer for any contentious topic. Maybe some of his more unpopular stances are wise, but he sure as hell does a **** job defending them.

The only bad thing about turning 40 is there is a unseen line where your body just breaks down and you start hurting for no reason at all. Last year my right shoulder started hurting bad out of the blue and it got so bad I reluctantly did PT just to get it back to a semi normal state. The motion of throwing anything is still awkward so I guess my Cy Young asperations are dashed. My brother wanted to go hit balls this spring and I was afraid that wouldn't go so well but I was surprised that the motion of a golf swing was pain free and I hit it really well.

The Reds still have 9 games against the Pirates so there is hope there but I imagine they will still screw it up.

Meetch!

-Have a buddy from Lexington visiting NYC for the first time right now. He said last night/yesterday was weird and the city was creepy. Asked me what the hell is wrong with this place lol.

-Had to get blood drawn AGAIN today, 3x in a little over a week. Asked the doc to check my T levels last draw and she said I will but I can assure you they’re normal. Well, my T was low hence the redraw today. Looks like daddy may be getting on that sauce the legal way. Go ahead and double up that script toots while you’re at it.

Good sleep, unlimited boners and a one way ticket to shred city coming up!

  • Anybody else think that Mac Jones is going to be average at best in the NFL? Bama QB's are notoriously overrated due to the fact they play with world class receivers / O-line / RBs / coaches, I just don't see it with that guy.
  • When it comes to violent criminal behavior at universities, the power rankings are as followed:
    • 1 - Football Players
    • 2 - Fraternity Guys
    • 3 - Everybody Else
  • And that's not a race thing - from my experience it was white football players at UK who were more violent. But, when the football team and frats go at it, the football team is usually the winner, and it's often bad news (physically) for the frat guys. So I don't know what really caused the escalation of the UK Football/Fraternity issue, but if a few of these frat guys got lit up they're going to be pissed and try to get the football guys in trouble. That doesn't mean it's some racist thing, btw.
  • Mrs. Dougan has taken it upon herself during the COVID work from home period to pull the following move whenever she brings me anything. It was cute at first, but now I think there's a level of animosity that might mean trouble for our marriage.

For all Rax has caught here for his pitching motion over the years, pretty confident in saying I doubt he’s ever hit one of his own players. I threw one that hit CF right on the helmet last night, maybe even partially on the cheek (no mark, at least). So, yeah…feeling like both a pretty terrible dad and coach at the moment. Sheesh.

When I got roped into this head coaching gig, I told the other coaches I had absolutely no business being the one pitching. I don’t think they believed me at the time.

Well, I guess I was 3 when he came out with that sooo I wouldn’t know. And grand master flash was garbage. If I remember correctly it’s like slow rap disco or something but I appreciate him paving the way for good stuff.
Boy I will only say this ONE time, DO NOT ever disrespect GMF and the Furious 5. EVER. Melle Mel, Scorpio, GMF, Cowboy, Rahiem, and The Kidd Creole ARE New York rap. Funny you quote a Snoop song that was not even his, that song was done honoring the legends. I will side with Snoop over Gilligan on this one. How is the SS Minnow doing today ?
The Message - obvious, and a song made way before its time.

White Lines - Very good message on this junt, learn.

Step Off - solid

The Adventures Of GMF - Rookies and don't know nothing bout scratching.

Fastest Man Alive - Not on the 1s and 2s, but 1s,2s, and 3s.
Born in a ghetto, lived in a slum
But he was raised high and mighty to be number one
The park was his stage, cost didn't exist
And everybody was invited to be a witness
Running things on the South Bronx streets
Known for great feats of skill and techniques
He's the priest of the beats, the king of the scratch
And all the rest are just a product of wacks!

… He wrote the book on the tricks that you've learnt
And the name wasn't given homeboy, was earned
He's the man called Flash, fresh from the beginning
Taking out sucker D.J's for a living
King of Hip Hop, godfather of rock
Cuts are leaving D.J's in a state of shock
You took the name Grandmaster and you made it your own
Well it belongs to Flash and you should leave it alone
Now fate's taking it's toll on the road you stole
And you can't live up to the name you hold
Grandmaster's his name you just can't take
If the people don't give it to you, you're fake
You can't hide the shame, you're every bit a disgrace
And the guilt is written all over your face
There's no doubt about it, not a question to ask
The Fastest Man Alive is Grandmaster Flash

New York New York - just a sample, beat is fire.
A man's on a ledge, says he's gonna jump
People gather round, said, "He won't he's just a chump"
'Cause he lost his job, then he got robbed
His mortgage is due and his marriage is through
He says he ain't gonna pay no child support
Because the ***** left him without a second thought
He got nothing to eat, no shoes on his feet
She even left his clothes out in the street
He keeps hearing noises when he's at home
He always hears voices when he's all alone
His wife took the kids, the car and the crib
In this man's world, so much for Women's Lib

Boat names for the Ladder man :
"Slumlords World, I Am just Living In It"
"The Silver Spoon"
"Given Not Earned"
"The Trustafarian"
"Wellborn Primogeniture"
"The Affleunza"
"Born On Thrid"

The semi-push-knuckler-dart throwing motion is the bonafide best visible technique to get into kids’ wheelhouse. Everyone knows that.

My kids raked after I took over as the Dad pitcher. COTY.
