According to aviation video games, yes, it’s very easy to fly a Blackhawk. Landing them though is quite hard to avoid a kamikaze style, and I’m not sure that matters to “them”.

-The most annoying part of all this are the QR menus. And there's A LOT of ******** that is in no way helping the pandemic, but annoying the hell out of everyone. "Look toots I've had about a dozen 'mestos at the pool and I just want to hold a real f*cking menu."

-Southwest Airlines doing their part in saving lives by asking people to hold up 1 finger for Coke, 2 fingers for Diet, 3 fingers for water, 4 fingers for coffee. This is not a joke, like they're still doing this. Also, please replace your mask after each bite or drink. Meanwhile, you have 120 people shoved in a tight space about 3 inches apart. SMH.

-Just so over the for show nonsense. Got something that actually helps? Cool, let's do it, and drop the rest.

-Paper straws, speaking of complete nonsense missing the overall point. So you gave me a paper straw, that's going to melt in like 35 seconds... yet I'm using a plastic cup and lid? Thanks, ********. That's just fan-f*cking-tastic. Granted, send me back to the time where people were getting shamed for using a proper straw. I'll take that on loop over this nonsense. Trying to portray all this as normal to a 6 year old is getting exhausting.

-Shoving it in Matt Bevin's face and getting a real id. Suck it, loser.

-Game week. 😍 Time to start mentally prepping for an epic season.

-What do you mean, I think this whole thing has been handled with remarkable grace and was completely unavoidable? Here's a bunch of our war machines, Taliban, enjoy!!! Holding out for a tiktok from the new WH Intern before I formally decide who's fault it is doh.

Look I'm glad to be out but what an epic epic clusterf*ck.

-Forecast looks amazing. Low 80s. Sept always has the potential to be the best weather month of the year. Not a fan of the sun struggling in the 8p hour though.

-Vegas for the weekend. Nice to be in a setting where no effs were given for the first time in a couple years. Even if for a short period. Overall capacity seemed down but restaurants were all booked, clientele seemed to be pretty solid, masking was LOOSELY(at best) monitored.

Great small crew though. Laid back. Fun pool days. Really good meals.

-I really didn't want the hurricane to beat Ursch, I love the guy, but I like giving him lots of ****. Glad you're ok, buddy.

-Has there been a recruiting thread on HOB where WCC didn't lecture someone on how to properly follow recruiting?

-Donda is complete trash, which was to be expected, but even worse than I imagined. Thought he may have one left in him. Nope. Oh well, Weeknd, Drake and Kendrick all have albums dropping soon. Those should be dope.

The Afghanistan withdraw is going to end up being the biggest American foreign policy folly in a hundred years. We had 2,500 troops there, hadn't suffered a casualty since February 2020, and it was a comparatively minor cost in order to keep an airbase next to China and to have the infrastructure in place so our special ops guys were ready to go in that region against any terrorist organization that arose. We haven't had a coordinated terrorist attack in America since we invaded -- which is not a coincidence.

We gave that all up for NOTHING. At best it was going to be a PR win but they f***ed it up and now it is a debacle. So unless there is some sort of 4D chess strategy afoot (which I highly doubt), we just gave our pissant enemy enough equipment to field a respectable army and went home for no reason.

All that "NO FOREVER WAR" crap is nonsense. It cost us basically nothing to maintain our troop presence in Afghanistan indefinitely and we lost an insane amount of options for no reason other than the Biden team wanted to get out before 9/11 for some unknown reason.

Between inflation, being pussies internationally, and the general veneer of ineptitude, this has Jimmy Carter 2: Electric Boogaloo written all over it.

Randoms just for Chad...

- Did you ever want to be on the Uncle Al Show? I did, but whenever I tried to convince my mom to try and get me on the show, she said that Cincinnati was too far away.

- Sharpe/Wallace/Skyy/Livington/Lively/Bona.

- Favorite Reds "Farmers Night" contests....

1. Cow Milking
2. Calf Feeding
3. Wheelbarrow Races

- I don't know about you, but when Kings Island changed the ride from "Enchanted Voyage" to Smurfs-themed, I feel like the park really lost part of its soul.

- Ken Broo or George Vogel?

- What flavor "smash cake" are you getting for your daughter's first birthday party? I mean, that's the whole point of said party...to get pics of the kid digging into the cake with her bare hands. Congrats, man. It's great, isn't it?

Don Keydik... Don Keydik?

When the grandkid is at the house she loves to play all of these made up games. Occasionally she will want to make up names for ourselves. I’ve been Hugh Jazz, I.P. Freely & Seymour Buttz. She has been Amanda Hugginkiss, Bea O’Problem & Tess T. Culls. All old Bart prank call names. Drives my old lady crazy and the little lass has yet to figure them out. I, of course, get a kick out of it.

- Rack Hank.

It's not just that it was relatively low cost to keep a presence there. We have an enduring presence in Korea and Germany and Japan and last I checked we haven't been at war with those countries in a while. It's also that it was an excellent defense position to deter Taliban/ISIS-K/Al-Qaeda/various terrorist shitheads from successfully launching a coordinated terror attack in America again. We gave up intel, we gave up a defense position, we gave up American lives, and for what?

This is all acknowledging that the failure to push Pakistan on harboring al-qaeda remains an enormous problem. But now we have no foothold. The entire thing is a mess, it was foreseeable, and this is how we got ol' Osama the first time. Great job, great effort, and there's an entire line of American presidents and leadership who bear a ton of blame for this.

FFS. Don't fumble the ball on the 1 yard line.

- I need some more UK football hype videos today. SMD, let us pray.

This private investigator on KSR said that the fraternity originally went through the football roster and picked out TWENTY players saying they were there
.

Did they just pick out every black guy that looked relatively similar?

Well if the dudes were black who did it, would you have expected them to pick the white guys on the team?

Sounds like one of those crappy lookalike threads on the other team's roster back in the day.

The guy with dreads looks like Whoopi Goldberg. 🤣

Wishing everyone well in the south....even you, Pti....awful pics coming in from the area. If there are any gofundme's set up for him or his friends, then please share.

Hope Biden slept well last night, while those he left behind were fearful of getting their head cut off.

I don't understand the criticism of getting out of Afghanistan. Both Trump and Biden were in favor of that, and Trump had already cut a deal to leave in the spring. The (much) deserved criticism for Biden is on the way we left, not that we left.

No no, we need to be in Afghanistan for the next 2,500 years because:

- It’s so cheap it practically pays for itself

- It’s close to China!

- No terrorists would dare try and start a war with us

I mean I honestly don’t understand why we don’t occupy 25 other countries since it’s so super duper cheap with no negatives whatsoever

I don't understand this mindset at all. It is so naive and one-sighted.

We are in a cold war with China. Do you not understand that having a f***ing airbase in Bagram that is a backdoor to China is a vital strategic interest for America that, by the way, also allowed us to respond to terrorist threats from the last place to attack the American homeland?

China is openly bribing the rest of the world with its Belt and Road program, etc and we are just retreating at every turn.

Maybe we should just start learning to speak Mandarin. In the words of Bobby Knight, if it is inevitable then just lay there and try to enjoy it.

The HOW doesn't matter when you play for the right team. Several hundred citizens (and dogs!!), dead service members, $65B in equipment left behind enemy lines? Could you imagine if the other guy had pulled all this ****? LOL. They impeached him over an effing phone call. At least we knew who was running things. Now? Radio silence from the same mouthpieces that **** their pants when Melania rearranged the WH Rose Garden.

Don't worry, though. The new narrative has been issued. We're OUT OF THERE, Those selfish ppl should have left when they had the chance, OMGZ endless wars, Biden ended what Bush started, yada yada yada. Give chad a couple days to get his notes straight before we really go down the rabbit hole.

First 7 months have been a hoot. Congrats to all!

-agreed, sae...but there is a large gap betwixt "not going well" and oh my god what have we done/is anyone in charge competent. This is the worst foreign policy blunder since Carter.

-we are in fact losing a cold war to china, it's a big deal. They own politicians from both sects...and have for a while. The current administration is by far the worst (or best) at sucking the Chinese. It's what we voted for, apparently.

😂😂😂😂 And you all weren’t the exact same way with Obama or the Clintons? F off. You know one note.

Once again, this ******** DOESN’T f’ing belong here. Let’s talk abortion next. How about critical race theory?

When you c-suckers decided politics just had to be in GYERO 5 years ago, it took the thread down a notch.

But I’ll tell you what’s NOT going to happen - this place won’t turn into a conservative circlejerk like the Political Thread. I’ll muck it up as much as I can before I let that ******** happen.

You talk politics more than anyone in here, TS.

Don't be a ***** when it gets zinged back at your face. Your passive aggressive randos won't effing fly. Either DO or DON'T -- right? Your effing virtue dog won't hunt and I'm sick of you playing victim. Rules should apply to your hypocritical ***, too.

Eff off.
