- My oldest boys woke me up at 6:45 this morning and asked me to put a movie on. I selected True Grit. What a great morning - drinking coffee with your boys during the best period of the week, teaching them to be true patriots in the mold of John Wayne, a great American hero.

Reminds me of waking up early on weekends and watching Bonanza with my dad before WCW started.

Watched Gunsmoke with my pops. Love that show now, grabbed the complete series last year.

Put Charles Portis on my next order as well. Pops had every Louis L’ Amour book, I just could never get into them. After he passed gave the entire collection to a close friend who enjoys them.

You just invited catfan
I 100% mean this from the bottom of my heart what I am about to say to you. Eat an incredibly large Fat Dick. You are THE if not one of the top 3 worst posters on here and that is really a dubious and very hard to earn accomplishment. Yourself and the ThroughBlue idiot are both neck and neck. You have the edge because he knows he is a idiot where as you actually think you are witty and funny. When finished eating, calmly GFY afterwards.

On the way Wayne, it will take me a while, just leaving BG. If you could, post directions for when I roll into town. Anything I need to stop and get ? Please do me one really big solid, invite the two GAFS I mentioned above, I haven't smacked the living dogshit out of anyone in a while now, I am just craving to. No worries though, I will make sure not to do it in or around your crib. Extry special thanks in advance if you do.

Well Wynn, I would MOST of the time agrees with your post, BUT this time I just can't. he unprovoked poke the bear by putting my name in his mouth quoting Wayne's post and try to say **** about me. He can be a very solid poster, but I can't let **** like that slide when I didn't even say anything to or about him. Sorry for upsetting you, not intentional.

PTI, sorry my dude, I can't be a Ultra Cool, Ultra long distance running mad man like you. You do seem like a cool enough guy on here, I sometimes even laugh at your unconventional sense of humor. So in turn, I really hope you are in direct line of Hurricane IDA that is fast approaching and only getting stronger headed toward you. Maybe if we are lucky, even get swept up in it and carried away. Maybe even a lightning strike or two, but nothing too serious. I would (If I lived in direct path like you) have a big Ole Hurricane party and ride it out.You could invite the swell / wonderful GYERO posters above, and even invite the KING OF HURRICANE parties who lives in The Florida Keys. I bet he can show you a thing or two. Ride around with him for a while (During the storm of course) and learn from the king.

**** This is for Wynn***** I am somewhat joking do not take it serious.

Not exactly a great way to start gambling, taking a near DD road favorite, But laying a $1 on UTEP -9 @ NM State. Also over 59. Being a Degenerate I have to put a little something on the game to help enjoy that shitfest of two terrible teams.

80’s new avatar is actually pissing me off, only because I see it and skip over the post, and then see him quoted and am like, how the hell did I miss an 80 post?

You had that old dead cardinal for going on probably 20 years, no?

Also, who the hells neck is that?

I "know" so many people from the internet I'm not even embarrassed anymore when I have to explain, "well, I don't know them in actual life, we're friends through powerlifting instagram." I don't really know how to feel about this tbh.

Wynn, if I figure out who you are, I'm stalking those filings on PACER. Give em hell. I hope you told your coworkers my legal name is Pretzel, by the way.

The Walking Drum is my favorite book of all time. It is what got me into reading because I wanted to instead of being told to.

Ha, one of your partners emailed me for an interview the week I started at my current firm. And shew, if the associate is who I think it is, I can vouch for Wynn that she is indeed sah-moke. Damn, good for her.

"tortious interference with personal healthcare" 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 this is some Grade A batshittery. Have fun with that one.

One of my partners told me at my first interview he had stalked my social media to make sure I wasn't into anything super weird, as an associate years before me was apparently a regular attendee of something called DragonCon. That dude got fired, but for being terrible, not for the cosplay thing. Although I'm sure that did not help.

-Went to the farmers market this morning, picked up a mess of green beans, new potatoes, a loaf of Amish sourdough bread and some local made blackberry jam

-headed over to to Hughes Meat market for a couple of rib-eyes, tail on. Grilled those bad boys up for supper

-my better half has spoiled me with green beans. I love all beans but GB’s were way down the list until she showed me how they should me done, properly. A big ole mess of them slow boiled for a few hours , an onion, new potatoes and a ham hock. Seems simple enough but they are better than crack.

-after many years in the kitchen I finally did it. I damn near sliced off the tip of my finger slicing garlic for the mashed potatoes. Lass sprang to action, had me bandaged up and off to the walk in clinic we went. A few stitches later I’m good to go. No blood in the potatoes.

-absolutely giddy about heading to my buddies place for the first football game of the year. Sitting on his deck, tv hung on the wall, his homemade chili, a bunch of brown water, a half pack of smokes.....don’t care if it is a noon kickoff. ION

Come on bruh, fingers with the nails down and out when you cut that stuff. Knuckles are the safety mechanism. Knife should rub knuckles and keep the knife away from the fingers.

Yeah, I know. I got a little sloppy, dare I say cocky, with my my “knife skills”. Won’t make the same mistake again (hopefully).

It really is amazing how much blood flows from the fingers.

I lost the dead cardinal with rivals last big switch. I've had the three dogs f*cking for a couple of years now.

Current one is from the biggest balla I know. Don't plan on keeping it long, just being a jackass for a couple of days.

- The second year associate who works for me is so hot. I told my wife I was going to re-assign her to another practice group, before I get into trouble. My wife laughed at me and told me that said associate wouldn’t touch my dad bod *** with a 10 foot pole. Which I suppose is absolutely true, but we can all dream.

Wynn, something’s not adding up here. You claimed you are 6’2 220 of solid muscle. So either your wife’s lying and this gal should totally be into you, or this gal is just a lesbo. No other option.

Cat 4 hurricane on the way with 150 mph winds — the strongest in over 100 years. It’s mostly going west of New Orleans, but we’re expecting 10-20 inches of rain today. Not anticipating the strongest winds here in town.

We have:

- booze
- 2 generators
- gas
- food
- charged devices

So we’re good for now.

Still not convinced you're a lady.

* I might have said this before but in my head, every single Wayne post sounds like Ben Shapiro reading the WAP lyrics. I'm sure Wayne found that bit hysterical.

Can Bernie lightly tap him with a golf cart or something? Maybe it will work like dropping a coconut on someone's head to cure amnesia in Gilligan's Island.

* I'm impressed with UK's covid policy at Commonwealth. I figured between King Andy and Topbutton, they'd be requiring revaccination and a maoist struggle session on white guilt upon entry. Good to see clear thinking prevail. That said, if anyone wants to wear a mask and cheer on the Cayts, go right ahead.

* Getting housebound during a hurricane with your fiance sounds very romantic. Doing the same thing with your professional spouse after covid -- not so much.

Enjoy it while it last, PTI(pti).

* UK ROCKS!

You’re always so literal, Wayne. Learn Gyero puffery. As a thirty-nine year old working father of three who likes to drink beer, I am in fact not comprised of pure muscle. And for multiple compelling reasons, I would never entertain the thought of an affair with anyone, but particularly with a colleague. But it’s funny to joke about, you know. Because it’s so outlandish. Do you have any concept of humor, in any form?

I have seen what my left pointer finger bone looks like as well as the UCL on my left thumb courtesy of cutting sweet potatoes. Kitchen looked like a murder scene both times and I got to bleed into trash cans at two different health care facilities.

my best friend bought me a chef’s knife after that. 😬

As a veteran of the first Bonnaroo and many other festivals, I can confirm they are only fun when drinking and/or doing drugs.

The last one I went to was a 3 day Phish show in Deer Creek like 15+ years ago. Went to at least one show completely sober and couldn’t pray harder for it to be over with. It was horrible, way too hot, I realized I was surrounded by drugged out white kids attempting some kind of dance moves, the songs were all too long and the music was meh.

Haven’t been to one since. A one night show where you stay in a hotel or end up home is just fine and very fun.
