Man - a friend of mine that i fell back in with about two months ago - is apparently mentally ill and i didn’t notice it until tonight

and i ain’t trying to be flippant or funny about his crazy *** -

but this man dismissed two other dudes from his place tonight - and leaned in real low to me ...and started confiding in me about lights and cameras hidden in his house ....told me about seeing little / small scale people in his house - and described how they lurk at bizarre unnatural angles in the corner of his basement ((ironically - right next t an eddie sutton era UK calendar - so that spot probably DOES need a priest)) — and he thinks his niece may be releasing aersolized chemicals via light bulbs —

and he kept insisting that i stand in a certain spot so i can see the lights/cameras/and angular little people

and after about an HOUR of this (i was really regretting the Woodford bottle i took him) - i realized he wasn’t kidding

so what do you do when a casual conversation suddenly turns deeply bizarre and creepy like that? ((like something from EA Poe’s story “The System of Dr Tarr & Professor Feather”)) —

so i asked reasonably good questions about his medications - his recent operations / vaccine status / other symptoms and sleep patterns etc —

i left and went to the Middlesboro football game (MB 60 W’Berg 29) - and ran into his cousin — and she nonchalantly confirmed that “yeah — he crazy” ...:apparently they’re saying he has used meth - passionately- and “got a bad batch “

I have been laughing at this guys “joke” about “The List” of people he has that “when the time comes.... “ he’s going to cut throats and shoot people in the face

so - i think we’re DEFINITELY looking at a liquor ban for future encounters

and i’m going to make sure i’m not on that mans “list “

creepy and sad - but i’m just the man for this

Not sure how it is in KY but over the last year+ the handshake, five, fist bump etc way of saying hi has now morphed into bumping not knuckles but the bottom of the hand like the side of the palm and pinky. I refuse and just give em knuckles still. I can’t make anymore variations to say hi. We can’t even get the knuckles vs handshake down and we’re adding more? No sir, not this guy.

Reach out for a hand shake. if the person declines that should tell you all you need to know about how the rest of the encounter will go

Better a decline than the ol limp wrist.

  • The fist bump is so much better than a handshake
  • Can’t believe they still have Corso but good for him
  • I hate the first weekend of college football; it’s always a dogshit pile of games. Case in point, look at ESPN slow jacking the Alcorn State-NC Central game. Nobody cares.
  • Having people over before the concert, Bernie. Your stoner *** is more than welcome. I’ll have plenty of booze for Mrs Sadori too. Any of the rest of you that are going to the concert are welcome too except:
    • Krazy
    • 80
    • Wynn (f him)
    • Anth (Sloot is still invited)
    • PTI (obviously)
    • Hank

You just invited catfan
Catfan > Wynn Fluffy
Krazy is NOT invited?

Good lord Wayne is an idiot. Maybe the most…..uhhhh…..”interesting” guy on here, and has an unlimited supply of bourb. He’s a 1st round draft pick.
He’s got like 37 kids right now and I only ordered one Chick-fil-A Nugget party tray.

I can't think of anything I'd rather do less than see some crappy garage band performance in your faux-finish, veneered housing projects.

- It’s in Norton Commons, not like I’d show up to a cult party anyway, especially if kids are welcome.

-Regardless, you can’t ruin this day for me. College football on the stream, basement basically done.
Ribs and Wings cue’d up.
Cold beers in the fridge.
Gambol place (Illinois +6.5 and UCLA -17.5)

FOH haters!

- On the one hand, really happy to have CFB on the tube today. On the other, CFB in August doesn’t sit really well with me. I think it needs to wait until Labor Day weekend.

- Just as I won’t pick up my first six pack of Oktoberfest until September 1, despite it being on the shelves since late July, which is sickening.

- Three straight days with strong downpours were very welcomed. As much as I worship fall, I’ve never liked how stressed the foliage and turf gets due to the typically dry conditions this time of year, and into October. Gives me anxiety when my green friends are distressed. Also, really hard to core aerate in September when the soil is like concrete. So yeah, pretty, pretty happy with this weather situaish. Also - high of 75 and sun on Tuesday. Of course I’ll be in a federal courthouse with no windows all day, but I can still appreciate the positive vibes.

- Somehow the subject of power lifting came up at lunch earlier in the week. I told my colleagues that I know a championship-level female power lifter, which piqued their interest. They asked me her name, and I said I didn’t know. Then they asked, well how do you know someone, but not know their name. Fair question. Internet friends - ha.

- Might want to double deadbolt your doors while you’re at the Norton Commons SploogeFest tonight, Wayne. Let’s just say that I have extensive upper-decking experience, and your master bath is about to get a new master.

- My oldest boys woke me up at 6:45 this morning and asked me to put a movie on. I selected True Grit. What a great morning - drinking coffee with your boys during the best period of the week, teaching them to be true patriots in the mold of John Wayne, a great American hero.

- Got your all’s’ back, WCC.

- What a whirlwind of a week. Our largest client got hit with a motion for a temporary restraining order to halt their employee vaccine mandate. Most garbage complaint and TRO motion I’ve seen in 15 years of practice. Conspiracy theory, nonsensical garbage. And, every authority which has considered the issue to date, including several federal courts, the EEOC, and the DOJ, has unequivocally determined that employers may lawfully do so.

- Their motion was filed Wednesday afternoon; judge then gave us until 5 yesterday to respond. Around 4:30 yesterday, we hit them with several speeding dump trucks full of tons of bricks, and never tapped the brakes. Didn’t really sleep in the interim. Oral arguments Tuesday. Looking forward to destroying these ********. Which is exactly what they are.

- The second year associate who works for me is so hot. I told my wife I was going to re-assign her to another practice group, before I get into trouble. My wife laughed at me and told me that said associate wouldn’t touch my dad bod *** with a 10 foot pole. Which I suppose is absolutely true, but we can all dream.
