The Everly Brothers got me thinking, any of you Eastern Ky reals ever have the Goins Brothers perform at your school? I remember they used to come to my elementary school once or twice a year. Since pops was the principle I always got to talk to them, seemed like big stars to me at that time. Guess they were only popular in Appalachia.

AstraZenaca just completed late stage trials of their antibody therapy including Immune Compromised people with a 77% rating for the IC participants. Several other companies right on their heels with similar products in late stage trials. These treatments last much longer and the medications the IC are currently taking don’t decrease the antibodies like they do with the vaccine.

If nothing else, the football/frat fight story shows just how short of a leash UK has the Lexington media on. So everyone sat on a story involving a fight with a gun (allegedly) for 5+ months and then the guys that were beat up had to go to Louisville to get anyone to even put out their side? Everyone crushed the Louisville media for covering for UofL forever but UK definitely has the locals in check.

I mean, I assume a lot has changed since I was in college (2000-2004), but I don't think I could, if I even tried, describe the end of a night back then like that.

For that guy who showed up armed to the ER a month or so back, you could actually watch UK influence the details in the local media in real time like something out of Pravda. Pretty scary, tbh.

I'm getting pretty impatient and angry about this football stuff.

Eli Capilutou and Mitch Barnhart - the two _____ dudes you'll ever see - cleared our boys, and they were all set to play before some white people started whining 2 weeks before the season. Get over it. Apparently everyone did, until someone changed their mind months later. We are so damn SEC it hurts, and I fn love it.

- Few media opinions I respect more than The Bear on College Football Gameday.

- If the kid brought a gun, let alone brandished it, to a college fight, he has to be gone. JMHO

- The 10-year anniversary of some of our GYERO crew eating 10-feet from an officer shooting dead a 16 year old on Fountain Square after a struggle flashed on my Facebook this weekend. We were headed to Willy’s annual fundraiser. Pretty surreal experience.

- Been rewatching “Happy Endings” on Netflix - what a great show and Elisha Cuthbert is 🔥
