So there’s a brown-skinned kid on the Nebraska LLWS team and his nickname is Brownie? Are the other kids allowed to call him that or would they be cancelled?

I went to Patachou yesterday and the hipster taking my order was confused at the volume of food I ordered. Everything was delicious though. Croissant French toast 🔥🔥

Did Mama Carolla’s for dinner and dear sweet lord…the rosemary chicken lasagna was unbelievable.

Now that the GYEROlympics may cause death or serious harm to multiple pricipants, maybe the next big competitive event needs to be an eating challenge. Set it up into categories and choose (qualify for?) your event?

Pizza:
NY style event: (most Slices)
Chicago style event: amount of the pie)
Buffet medley: (must eat at least once slice of what is brought out and then go for the most overall slices)

Fast Food:
Nuggs 100: choose your restaurant and try to down 100 nuggs. All who do receive a medal. If not, we’ll award the most eaten.
Big Mac Champ: self explanatory
Chicken sandwich chow down: 5 chicken sandwiches from 5 different restaurants. Good luck.

Carnivore:
This would be the marquee event. Since it wouldn’t be fair to have drx compete on a level playing field in this division, here are the rules. We will get 5 qualifiers to eat as much steak as they want throughout the week. The qualifier with the most pounds eaten over a 5-day stretch will have that total put to the test against drx in one sitting. If boat eats more in one sitting than the top qualifier did in 5 days, he gets the gold. If not, the 5 day qualifier is the champ.

Just spitballing some ideas here, gang. I know I’ve left off some obvious challenges. Taco challenge? Chips/salsa baskets? What else?

Unless we’ve got a secret competitive eater here no one is eating 100 nuggets from any restaurant
Wendy’s nuggets? Chik-Fil-A? Those are like one bite a piece. It would be a challenge, but surely we have a couple of folks in here that can get close. 60? 70?

I can eat 10 Taco Bell crunchy tacos without breaking a sweat. . . and I’m no Taco Bell fan at all. That may need to be my event.

I am confident that I could get to 50 Wendy’s or Chik-Fil-A nuggets. 40 McNuggets are doable for me as well.

Not sure that’s enough to qualify, but there you go.

- I need to stay out of the COVID thread. JFC.

- prob don’t have time to do the pick em this year, @rudd1 and everyone else. Would love to participate tho!

- Got a booster shot. If you get one data seems to think Moderna is better against delta than Pfizer. I got Pfizer, but it was only option.

- Kings of Leon at Ascend Thursday night was awesome. Hadn’t seen them in forever, great show.

If you're SERIOUS about ice, KOLDDRAFT has no peer, with respect to ice machines.

Other than one of those (and you'll probably have a stroke when you see what they cost), it doesn't really fvcking matter.

Manitowoc makes great commercial ice machines too.

Bought a commercial pellet ice maker at my old job. Spent just over $10k on the machine and cooler... to go in a barn for icing down horses ankles after training.

The pellet machines cost a decent amount more than the chip machines. Both have their benefits depending on the situation.

Have any of your friends been canceled that call you ***?
-Not yet but I’m waiting. I can’t believe they still harp on my sexual preference.

-Did 70 wings at BWW in college, couldn’t do it now.

-We have an ice machine at our place because fridge doesn’t and it’s fantastic.

-This weather is bs. Thought I’d be off today but since Fred is a gaper and hanging out in Cuba everything has been cancelled but the bar. *** officially kicked. 8 straight days is ******** though.

I worked at the one off south Broadway from 99-03 and we used to have a blazin competition on MNF.

Whoever could eat the most won free food(and drink but we’d have to give credits in food do to the law) for the night. Tab wiped clean.

Unreal scene as the sauce was so oily it would seperate and we’d toss the wings in oil then get some sauce in the bucket to make it look like normal.

People would vomit or violently leave the restrooms a mess after trying to win.

During those days there is no chance you could have eaten 70 as the wings were good, but after I moved back and helped open the Westport rd location here in Louisville the company changed suppliers and the wings became trash miniature versions of what we once had.

Maybe then, but even if it was then you’d be an idiot to buy that many and eat in one sitting, so either way your an idiot!

I won a wing eating contest around 99 at BWs, but it was whoever could eat 10 blazing wings the fastest without drinking anything. I got my tab picked up, a free pitcher of Miller Lite, and a Miller Lite tshirt.

A girl I used to mess around with had a card where she got free food/drinks anytime she went. Her uncle was CFO or something. She'd have half her sorority there on the tab 😂

Place was a solid game spot back then, its garbage now.
