  • Work meeting from vacation...I didn’t mind it in the least, oddly. I had to be on it before my “boss” ****** things up regarding the new project proposal with client. dude is a poser waste. Cant wait till he’s out of my hair.
  • Im kinda kicking myself for not being all over the globe whilst working remotely this last year. My dining table shackles were self-imposed. Damn.
  • cancelled 410Bank reservations for the 3rd year in a row. Going to sisters house for burgers and beers. Save some bucks I reckon... IDGAF, as long as I’m not cooking.
  • beach had some talent today. Mercy.
  • Golf carts (3 row ones) are the rage for beach communities...for KY suburbs? GTFOH. Grow up.
  • Struck out on today’s whiskey list. I think I’ll be ok. 🤭...allocation szn is nearly upon us...this is when I get serious.

- Went to the Heavenhill tour today for lunch. Awesome deal except you can only buy 1 of the 4 brands you taste.

Elijah Craig Barrel Proof(12yr)
Larceny Barrel Proof(6yr)
Bernhiem Barrel Proof(7yr and only barrel proof from Bernhiem)
EC mash but bottled different(8yr)

by far the 8year was the best and it wasn’t close. Since this is the only chance to date to have Bernhiem at barrel proof I took one of those and had my coworker grab the 8yr for me.

2 expressions you never get.

- Afterward I had to meet 2 builders I currently do not supply. Landed both of their next houses, and I can honestly say having a buzz certainly sent my truthfulness to 100.

“honestly I can’t do much more business than I already have but out of respect to past conversations I bid it high assuming you wouldn’t use me”

Ok well we’re going to use you and you are a little high but if the service is there I can respect that, just don’t BS me.

“Ok well windows are out 8-12 weeks, doors 3-4 weeks, LVL beams are spotty and often we’re completely out and our manager is overwhelmed so returns can take up to a month sometimes. You sure you want to use me still?”

damn son, I’ll use you and see how it goes, but if you stay this honest I don’t think I’ll be going back to my other supplier.

“Ok well I have to go now. Sorry to rush off but I’m busy today and my wife is panicking over our HVAC as we are finishing our basement. Good luck using us”

That’s how crazy lumber is right now. I’ve already done more than all of last year which at the time was my best year ever. Basically telling people “I don’t want your business and my prices are intentionally high” and they buy anyway.

Speaking of the 3rd Row Golf Carts, I got "pulled over" while driving one at Sullivan's Island at dusk after drinking all day (was sober, but probably would have been above 0.08) because they're not allowed after dark. It was a rental and my name wasn't on it. Had the cop - who went about 300 lbs - asked me to do a breathalyzer I would have made a break for it on foot. Getting a DUI on a golf cart - no thanks.

I came across a flipped over golf cart in my neighborhood a while back, fat chick stuck underneath it with her pants around her ankles. It was a sight. The two other people on board were kind of in a state of shock - broken beers all around. I got the golf cart off the gal and back on its wheels. None of the people really said much to me and they drove off. Just a dangerous situation all around I tell ya.
Wait just a GD minute. Did you say "fat girl with her pants around her ankles?" So she was getting rooted by a couple of drunk dudes that was A. uglier than sin and couldn't get no better, or B. drunk off their *** and did a tag team on Ole girl maybe as a slumpbuster ? I am glad I did not witness that, weak stomach and all.

I pretty much quit acting like a damn idiot on motor vehicles (or any situation really) when I left my teenage / young adult years. Grown *** adults especially past their 30's acting like juveniles because they can't handle their liquor / booze and never get out of Podunktown, USA much to experience a good time, are the absolute worst. They usually are also the ones who while at a bar get 10 feet tall and bulletproof and think it is cool to act like an *******. Then just like on the golf cart, they end up getting a few knots on their head, all bloodied, and the hell beat out of them because they Effed with the wrong dude.

Moral of the story : If you can't handle your liquor and act like a ******* out in public, always remember, stay home, or someone will sober your *** up real quick. You can spot them a mile away, even see their **** fest brewing. everybody has that family member that is like that, and if you don't agree, YOU are probably that idiot.

- Kooky just seems like someone I’d like to get drunk with sometime - my highest praise of another dude.

- On today, the grossest day of the year, my dad got a table outside at a wings&burger type joint. Insane man.

- Catching the Redlegs on Thursday with ABH. Excited to see that fella. Been awhile.

- Eating up all the gridiron Cats talk right now. I just can’t wait for this season.

I did... so there were two women and a guy in total. The guy was freaking out because I think he was driving and was worried he injured the fat girl. The other girl was much calmer, but still blasted. Fat girl's legs were trapped under the side of the cart, and as she trying to wiggle out her pants came down (I assume). It wasn't really a pleasant thing to see.

I have a friend of mine in our FFL Brad M., I have known him over 15 years, he is a silver spoon Slum Lord (Kind of like the one in GYERO, only Brad is a really good dude), His dad gave / left him a bunch of Duplex / low income rental houses. We nicknamed him Section 80. He plays golf every day, and picked up the hobby of "building" high end, tricked out golf carts and re-selling them. He rolls up to the FFL draft in the neighborhood blaring rap music in his candy paint, sub and amp equipped, sitting on spinners and over size tires, sunroof, covered golf cart. The works really. He has a little cage thing that his cooler fits in, I think he said he had over $10K in it. Dude is just living the life, bad *** dime wife, bad *** crib, Range Rover all wood, along with a couple other nice rides. But if you didn't know his background, you couldn't tell he had a dime, just cool as a fan, not all stuffy, douchebag *******.
I wrote all that because of the golf cart craze.

I understand wiggling to get out, but HTF do you end up with your drawls down to your ankles "wiggling" free? Maybe they would end up below her fat *** waist, but to her ankles? that is a lot of GD wiggling. Ole boy was getting his grove on and got a little too much motion in the ocean and the cart tipped over and fat *** went overboard and got trapped under it. She couldn't get out because her big *** granny panties was wrapped around her kankles and she couldn't move. That is my hypothesis anyway, based on your version of the crash.

FDA approval?!?

The same FDA that has approved Hydroychloroquine for Malaria and Lupus for 60 years, magically finds it harmful and risky during a pandemic for emergency use... FOH.

It's not that simple. Hydroxychloroquine is approved for malaria and lupus because it is proven effective in treating those two conditions with many controlled studies. Those studies also show risks of significant side effects. Despite having such known risks, the benefits outweigh them for those treating those two conditions. There aren't many other treatments available for either condition, so the risks are an acceptable tradeoff for many patients.

With covid, the evidence of efficacy is weak, while the (already known) risk profile is considerable. So the benefit-to-risk balance tilts to the other side - it's not worth the risks, given the weak evidence showing benefit.

Note that the FDA did approve dexamethasone for covid treatment. Like hydroxychloroquine, it's an older drug, available as generic, and cheap. And it too has some risks of side effects (though different from the risks with hydroxychloroquine). But the evidence of its efficacy is stronger, and the risk profile overall is better. So it was deemed to have an acceptable benefit-to-risk balance.

I use to confuse Wayne and Wynn and never knew which was which.

But over the last few months between Wynn’s Friday night posts and Wayne’s screaming hot takes I now know the difference.

Hydroxychloroquine is also approved for treating different types of Rheumatism. Along with Methotrexate and Enbrel. All of which are among the medications I take daily/weekly that have bad side effects and take away from life expectancy. I did a lot of research on all my meds vs. quality of life and my ability to function in daily life. Not a conversation with yourself I recommend, but as we age, something that happens more often than not. Compared to what I was already pumping in my body the vaccine was a no brainer. I’m looking forward to the 3rd shot in a few weeks because the benefits far outweigh the risk. Given the unknowns of the virus and mutations there will be changes in how to treat those that get hospitalized as more information and tests on different medications surface. Would be wishful thinking for a nicely packaged cure all. And don’t get me started on stem cells because I could be completely cured of my diseases with one treatment but nooooooo. Let’s just let the old bastard suffer when there’s millions thrown away daily.
