Insufferable d-bag probably drives a Range Rover, too. Just seems like one of those ********.
Guess I’ll go with the top down this AM because of your hurtful words. Gotta go sell a Jose Canseco Rated Rookie for some gas. GGP, TIA!

I see that you ignored actual facts about vaccination demographics, WCC. Par for your side though.

White conservatives are a much bigger chunk of the population and I interact with this group much more. That said, I feel the same way no matter what color you are. They’re all in the same boat to me. I’m on one side - vaccinated and moving forward.

Here’s one example- there are a ton of polls/studies showing similar numbers:

I fully believe in freedom of choice provided by the government here in America. Whether it be vaccines, abortion, who you marry, what you think, or how you choose to defend yourself.

Liberty is great, but it also includes taking responsibility for your actions. If you dont get the vaccine, you shouldn't get preferential treatment when you catch it.

I'm also allowed to say you are a complete dumbass and selfish cvnt if you've never had the virus and dont get the vaccine.

FDA approval?!?

The same FDA that has approved Hydroychloroquine for Malaria and Lupus for 60 years, magically finds it harmful and risky during a pandemic for emergency use... FOH.

The only thing that mattered in 2020, regardless of a pandemic, was winning an election.

Brady has to sell more cards because the cost of gas has tripled. Enjoy tho.

- Love "First Day of School" week on social media. Crazy to see that Little 80/Money is starting Kindergarten today.

- Saw a tweet the other day from some comedian saying that "LET'S GO!!!" is basically "ALLAHU AKBAR!!!" for white guys. Pretty spot-on. It's like white dudes don't even know what to say in the excitement of a sports moment. Caught a little bit of a LLWS qualifier game yesterday and it's spread down to the pre-teens as well.

- I don't understand cryptocurrency and I never will and I don't care enough to take the time to correct this.

- Tom Hagen in "The Godfather"....just as smooth and steady as they come. Highly underrated character.

- The overarching problem, as it pertains to masks/mandates/etc., is that, as Rudd said, there is no definitive goalpost that everyone will agree on. Zero COVID is not reasonable, but as long as every case, especially every child case, is treated as a death sentence, things will never settle. So it's going to be a never-ending cycle of mandates and pushbacks and rollbacks and crackdowns until we all die from being too fat anyway.

- GO CATS!!!

Libs trying to explain away black people not getting the vaccine by going after republicans... that's rich.

The 97% of hospitalizations number is from January - April. This is before the delta variant was as prevalent as it is now. I suspect that number is a lot closer to 50/50 now. Don’t expect to see the updated numbers on the daily covid briefings though.

the number of hospitalized vaxed people is enough now that we can stop calling them breakthrough cases.

a nursing home in the area is at or near 100% vaccinated for its residents and it’s tearing through it right now.

Can't believe 20 Proof is in K, but his buddy G is going into 1st grade this year.

Robert Duvall is possibly my all time favorite actor.

With this being 1st day of school, it feels sort of like a Monday. Of course I spend the last two days with 20P hitting up arcades, the farm, playing ball, and watching movies. (Self employment enjoys some of the same perks as bartending apparently)

I hope Chris Kolb and Andy Beshear get delta. I also hope they both shrivel from public life and are never heard from again. Lock them away in the same place we've sent Trump and Alex Jones.

Bold prediction: I think our football team goes 10-2 this year. Starts out 5-0 with Gameday showing up for LSU.

- Edited for accuracy. Always assumed he and G were same grade level.

- In the process of booking speakers for our convention this November. Wrote a long, detailed request for a local writer to come speak, explaining why I thought he would be the ideal fit for the audience, sharing how much I enjoyed/admired his work, etc. Two word reply...."no thanks". Didn't even capitalize it.

- I realize they're completely in the tank at the moment, and it would have been a bloodbath, but it still is a terrible look for there not to be at least one KY Democratic speaker on the stage at Fancy Farm. Even with the hackneyed speeches and ridiculous crowd members, it's still one of our state's great traditions. There have been countless times when Republicans didn't have a prayer of winning a statewide office, but they still went down there and engaged in the festivities. Just a terrible look, IMO. Send SOMEBODY.

- There are certain GYEROers whose pandemic insights actually hold water with me, and they range across the spectrum. Pretty much skip past the rest, tbh. Makes the thread a bit more enjoyable just to have those rules set in advance.

I’m vaccinated, don’t smoke, eat my veggies, go to the gym when I can, don’t drink during the week, exercise when I can’t go to the gym, pay my taxes, etc. so what level of outrage is appropriate and where should I direct it?

Also- Trump’s legacy really should have been defined by this vaccine and it really being the poster child for “things the US and capitalism can do when we get our **** together” in our grand kids’ history books. But… nah, I guess.

3 episodes in and loving white lotus - very quirky and weird, not sign up for HBO worthy IMO. Office manager and the dad are my favorite, but I’m a sucker for Steve Zahn who’s also a huge UK fan.

The mare of East town from HBO was great - favorite series in a while. HBO always brings it strong IMO. I actually prefer the once a week release as it prevents me from watching an entire series in 2 days and then not having anything to watch and forgetting everything about the series a week later.

🤣🤣 For when you aren't Ric Flair and can't unleash the WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!, we have "LESSS GOOOOOO"

I had a tank on for the gym the other night leaving the office with "AF" on it and my boss (🤣) told me he saw some TikTok influencer get CRUSHED for cultural appropriation for dropping AF on everything. I would agree if she was saying "on God" or "odelay" to everything, but I kind of thought AF was a basic ***** white chick thing to say, no? "As hell," pronounced "hay-el," is definitely reserved for hillbillies.

All Gen Z slang is "appropriated" from drag performers anyway, so AF seems tame. No white woman should ever say any outfit is "snatched" but here we are in the year of our lord 2021.

ThroughBlue bringing the heat with completely made up statistics this morning. And the anecdtotal story of the nursing home? Strong.

9.5/10
You think it’s only one nursing home? In one of the least populated areas of the ******* country? I’ve got some bad news for you, wildcat friend.

Also I didn’t use any statistics. I only said that the statistics I’m seeing ITT are outdated.

Here’s the deal, folks…

The risks aren’t there with children under the age of 12. If they catch this new variant odds are they will be fine. The reason those under the age of 12 need to wear masks in school is because of the pandemic #’s and the risks involved with spreading to the unvaccinated. There are several situations in rural like areas and impoverished urban areas where the ICU beds are overrun. Doctors and or nurses don’t have enough ventilators.

This won’t last forever. Once we get enough people vaccinated and the #’s decrease to more flu like #’s kids won’t have to wear masks in schools. We will always have variants and we will likely have a Covid season indefinitely but once we get enough of the population vaccinated so we can control the #’s we’ll be better off and can go about everything normally.

BOTTOM LINE… GET VACCINATED.

Seems to vary by state, but PJ would theoretically owe potentially 20% of his "net resources" per year, provided that his ex-gal has 100% custody. So at a $4M salary taxed at about 40%, I have him paying $40K per month.

People still pay for HBO? I just assumed everyone automatically got it for free whenever they signed up for whatever cable/satellite/streaming service they use.

Insanity - Doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.

The daily back and forth hour after hour, post after post is just insane and accomplishing nothing. One side is not convincing the other side they are right or changing the other sides opinion on it.

You dumbasses are arguing day in and day out and nothing is getting accomplished. "In the blue corner we have the Pro being vaccinated and have done so." "Fighting out of the red corner, we have non vaccinated and do not believe it will help" "You have been given instructions before logging onto the message board, obey all my commands, lets have a good clean fight, touch em up." Same **** day after day, like a dog chasing its tail, around and around, nothing changing, no side winning, just stupid blue corner arguing with the stupid red corner. We get it, you have defended your side, let it go.

What is every ones opinion on Cummings switching to TE? I think he will be great, along the lines of Jacob Tamme or someone like that. H-Back, more of a WR playing off the line. This offense if it is as advertised will be made up of a lot of moving, motion, and people lined up running patterns all over the field. Stretching the defense so they can't clog an arear. It will also prevent blitzing with defenders having to stretch out and pay attention to several players in the pattern.

Sharif Cooper looks like the steal of the draft. Mitchell from Baylor for the Kings also.
Jalen green is a baller, should win Rookie of the year, but something tells me Cunningham will win it even if Green has better #s. Josh Christopher with Jalen Green is going to be a problem for other teams for a long time, Christopher is really playing above what people thought he would. Not a Rockets fan, but those two with Wood, Jae'Sean Tate, Alperen Sengun (another great draft pick this year), Kevin Porter Jr. , Kenyon Martin JR. , they have a very good young nucleus of 1st and 2nd year guys. Khyri Thomas and Dante Exum are a couple of younger guys who could really take off. Exum in the right system and environment can really make a difference, especially on the defensive end. Three years from now, they will be a team to watch.
