I’d like to reiterate since everyone keeps score that I don’t care if unvaccinated people die. That’s their right to not take the vaccine. Don’t care one bit. They can all move onto the afterlife. Whatever.

What’s gonna piss me off is when there’s more postponements, crowd reductions, or full on crowd cancellations for football and basketball this season. ONLY reason I got the shot. Legit. Ain’t kidding.

If you selfish mother ****** dipshits ruins that for me, I hope you get reincarnated as my next toilet so I can **** down your throat the rest of my life. How dare you keep me from selfishly enjoying hot crowds hungry for their sprots.

“It doesn’t affect you” is the most willfully dense BS gotcha take. The pandemic is a group project where those of us who went and got vaccinated are stuck dragging the conspiracy-theory-spouting, essential-oil -butt-chuggin BUT MUH FREEDOMS f*ucking ******** back into normalcy, and the latter group are spreading **** everywhere and allowing the virus to continue to mutate and become more virulent. Which means yeah, more chances for those of us in #PfizerGang or Moderna Crew or whatever to get re-exposed with a viral load that makes us sick, again. Some of the latter group are unfortunately related to me, and as angry as I am with them for being so ******* stupid, I don’t want them to die, or to suffer the long term effects of covid. Like the ones I still have from covid 8 months ago. And the ones I’m not related to, I want to say screw em, they made their choice, but I can’t, because the entire GD country is going to be paying their hospital bills until I’m 80.

so if you aren’t vaxxed at this point, you’re an idiot, GFY, and metaphorically DIAF. I don’t want you to actually die because I love Jesus and he’s not super down with that, so please just get your shots so I don’t feel like I have to hold my breath around my grandma. The grandma refusing a shot because she listened to YOU F’IN IDIOTS.

Anyway, go Cats go Kennedy’s

Don’t post too much about this but my brother is an ICU doc and just got done with his rounds in Knoxville first day back in a week and said it’s a madhouse. 60 patients currently from a high of 4 in July. 95% unvaccinated. Unfortunately 2 of the vaccinated people (moderna) are ICU physicians in his group. One is 52 and one is 55 - both with moderna and in ****** shape. Got it from treating unvaccinated patients as they let their guard down. To be honest never really thought of that aspect. You can imagine his feelings towards the unvaccinated but I’m pretty sure he’d be pro water-boarding unvaccinated after finishing my conversation with him tonight.
So the vaccine doesn’t work is what you’re saying?

If you all cared this much about health in general we wouldn’t stop talking about sugar and tobacco but you decided to die on this hill and instead of getting vaxxed you’ve pushed people to the point where we won’t because YOURE an ******* about it. So f**k off. I won’t get vaxxed ever because you want to tell me what to do. It hasn’t stopped delta and it hasn’t ended anything. If you think if everyone is vaxxed this would go away I’m sorry but you’re dumb. Also Biden apparently thinks 350 million people in America are vaccinated so you’re definitely listening to the people that know the facts.

Gobigbluebell, that 70% is one shot not fully vaccinated and just like a flu shot it dissipates. They also have to use science of largest strain of flu spreading to change the flu shot every year to defend that variant. Covid will be here forever. It’s just a matter of how many die before we can get some type of constraint like the flu shot.

I doubt there is anything to it but the few people I know that got the original and spent time in the hospital had A+ blood type.

Ok, are most adults vaccinated? Not sure what people want, or are asking for...realistically. I just see and hear a bunch of emotionally charged hate. People are losing their minds.

I think one of the most eye opening things I’ve read is about hospitals mandating workers get vaccinated. They’re going to force someone to take this vaccine, or take their job away from them? Where is this going, and where does it stop? Are healthcare workers not in a good position to make this decision for themselves?

I think most non vaxxed are saying they’ll take their chances of covid over chances of whatever the vaccine story ends up being...both are unknown, I guess. It’s so early.

My position would likely be different if I was at risk/cared for at risk family member....

Which is sort of where this circus started. Hey, let’s protect those at risk. Cool. Well, that was a long time ago.

What does that even mean, Wayne?

It’s a crazy damn world when the most certified to speak on this subject are Anth, CastleRubic, and Joe Rogan.

Here’s what it means… this is a national healthcare crisis. We eradicated polio by making everyone get vaccinated. I don’t think we’ll necessarily eradicate this, but we sure as hell will limit the damage if you wackos who don’t understand data, don’t understand medicine, and don’t understand risk tolerance would just shut up and go get vaccinated.

Convincing argument. Stfu and get vaxed like those doctors who just died? I have no questions.
How dumb are you? The likelihood of getting and dying from Covid goes down significantly if you get vaccinated. It’s not 100% effective, and 1 In a few million have some bad side effects. But your likelihood of bad results is significantly worse not getting the vax than getting it. Why is this so hard to understand?

I don’t hate the unvaccinated. I’ve been wearing a mask for years during flu season being immune compromised because I wasn’t allowed to take the shot. I’m glad lots of people take a flu shot since it lessens my chance of getting it.
That said, we, as a country, normally rally to the aid of large numbers of Americans dying. It’s usually an unknown scenario but dammit we’re Americans and that’s what makes us who we are. There’s lots of blame to go around for where we are now. But again, how many more Americans have to die before common sense/self preservation much less the pride of being an American and standing up for each other during a crisis really sinks in?

Give it a few more months and all the unvaxed will have cards saying they are vaxed anyways then all yal will be so confused because you won’t know who to shame on an online message board. Yal and the people on Twitter telling parents that they hate their kids because they won’t put that vaccine in them are cut from the same cloth.

Capitalism solves problems like that except if I get my hands on a box of cards they’re going out for free

- hard to beat the feeling AFTER jogging a couple miles at 0430. Few pushups, sit-ups,and up downs because I hate myself. Work on BMI and your lungs even if you have taken the vax. Being healthy isn’t taking a vax for one virus.

- not an ideal two games since sweeping the pirates. We need these last two against the B*aves.

-working on organizing a men’s basketball league and tournament here if anyone on the 270 or west side 606 would be interested. I’ve played in well ran leagues in Russell county and Monroe county in the past. Haven’t shot a ball since March 2020.

Do you really think I care about a card? I’m not checking your vaccine status. I want you to do the right thing for yourself and others and go get the vaccine.

Odds of being hospitalized after vaccinated or with antibodies are like .01%.
But Rogue prefer sling drinks to the innocent without a vax. Makes sense.

If only we wouldn’t have butchered the message, we’d be sitting at about 95% right now 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ok

I get that a lot of people say F’m but …

1. Some people do and/or have to care about society at large.

2. Just look at the posts in here last night, many, while vaccinated, still are at risk because of these idiots.

So, put the blame for all this ******** where it belongs.

If I had the time I could go back a year ago and see all the elite Dems who said they would not take a "Trump" vaccine. Most people forget that.

I'm pretty evident that the Trump voters who do not take the vaccine are bearing the hate but the Hispanic and black populations are the least vaccinated. Sorry to drop some facts.

Rogue already had virus. He is less of a spreader than a vaccinated person. Frustration should be at the non immune, not the unvaxxed.

Rogue or people like him that already had the virus getting vaxxed doesn’t help the overall equation…another messaging issue.

-99.7%. Closer to 100% for DELTA VARIANT!!!

-Everyone in my immediate family is vaxxed.

-at this point "the response" is holding the economy/life as we know it hostage. As the man said "never let a good crisis go to waste."

-it seems many are hoping for zero covid. That ain't happening. This stuff is gonna run it's course and continue mutating ad infinitum. Time to move on.

^we all have been, are and will be at risk of viruses for the entirely of our time on this planet. That said the important thing is that we can point fingers and blame our fellow citizens while those in power "go in dry" on the citizenry.
